    I bought two dresses from Club L London for my daughters prom. She tried them both on briefly but didn't like the colour so we ordered her a other from Club L which she liked. We returned the first two - my wife works in retail so made sure they were in good order and packaged them as best she could. When the dresses arrived they came in small bags within a ... bag so were somewhat crumpled and creased.
    A few days later I received a refund for one dress. I was worried that perhaps the company had not realised there were two returned, but I had filled out the paperwork correctly so waited a while longer. Still no refund.
    I emailed the company and eventually received a response stating that one of the dresses was in "poor condition".
    I was shocked by this so enquired as to what this "poor condition" was - but received no response.
    I have since chased the company umpteen times and had no reply.
    I took to social media to find that there were a number of other customers complaining about various aspects of this company and their refunds.
    I believe that this company has poor practices, acts deceitfully and rips off customers.
    I would strongly advise not to buy from them.

    Be careful when buying from this place. Don’t let quick delivery and pretty pictures fool you. The quality is not what it looks in the pictures but the worst is that they don’t refund you if the item is broken and push it on you ‘the item didn’t arrive in a good condition’ oh no surprise! It didn’t arrive in a good condition at my house how would I fix it and get it back to you how you expect.

    Customer service is shocking.

    I purchased twice from them, and similar issue every single time.

    So girls don’t go buying various outfits to try it on as you will might but get your refund!

I sent back the two dresses, for them to get lost and Club L has not refunded me for my actual order that cost me £100 which I never even received. I have sent Club L my proof of postage and numerous emails. To get in contact with someone is beyond a joke, this has been on going since 01 November 2021, and is still not resolved.

    Pros but definitely cons.
    The dresses are absolutely amazing no faults at all, apart from I order all dresses in a 14 and they fitted but a certain style I had to get a 12, and that was still baggy.
    But the dresses are worth every penny.

    BUT! I ordered three different orders due to the sizing being wrong, and then I saw I wanted another dress, this was due to going to a few weddings. In the end I kept 3 dresses, one from each other. Here’s the down fall to the company, I sent them all back together and it took three weeks for them to reply to my email. stating it takes 10 workings day, it had been over that as I could see on my Royal Mail tracking that they got the items back. they tried saying to me that they got there at different times but my tracking said different. anyways, I finally got my refund back gradually throughout the day only because I said I will never shop with them. I noticed that they refunded me for the dress I kept but didn’t for one I sent back. they were being sneaky as they were the same colour and when I got the email for the refund they take out the refund price so you can’t see. I explained what they done and for them just to refund me the rest. they wanted proof what dress I kept. So I sent a photo, then they asked me how much the difference was (it’s on their system they should know) it just kept going round in circles until I said I was gonna take this further.

    Moral of the story, this company takes your money very quickly but doesn’t give it back.

    Oh and now I’m having to wait 10 more working days for the money to go into my account which is over £300 worth.

    sent me faulty item acknowledged it was faulty but refused to pay for return shipping
    forced top lodge claim with PayPal for refund and then took over a month to get my money back and cost me return shipping

    I purchased two dresses and they were not suitable so I returned the items in due time for a refund. This company failed to provide a refund and have not resolved my request/query into when this will be processed for over a month now. The customer service is appalling and they've just given me the run around. I would never shop at this place again, it also appears that I am not the only consumer who has experienced this with this company.
