Daughter's Christmas top
I recently ordered a top for my daughter as a Christmas present but had some big problems with the delivery. After selecting a pick-up point, I wasn't told where it was. I got in touch with customer service but didn't hear back. Five days went by and my order still hadn't been shipped. Today, I got an email saying my payment was refunded and the order was cancelled without any explanation. I was really disappointed with the poor customer service and delivery experience overall.
Pants
I got these trousers not even a year ago, and I must say, I'm really disappointed with the quality. Dickies is known for making strong workwear, but one of the side pockets on these trousers is already starting to come apart and has now turned into a pretty big hole. It's quite unexpected and let down really, especially coming from a brand like Dickies. When I got in touch with customer services to sort it out, they didn't want to help at all - no repair, no replacement, not even sticking to their own 2-year promise. They just said the damage was down to "wear and tear," rather than admit that the materials they used weren't up to scratch. When I mentioned my rights, they just stopped replying altogether. Honestly, it's sad to see a brand that's been so good for so long fall victim to the problems with fast fashion.
Winter clothing purchase
I managed to find some brilliant winter clothes at a decent price, but oh dear, the delivery service they used was an absolute nightmare. Can you believe it? Yodel somehow managed to lose my package despite me giving them detailed instructions and even a What3Words location. I had to wait over a month before I finally got a refund. By then, the great offers I had found were all gone, and to be honest, I wouldn't have wanted to take the risk of ordering again anyway.
Trousers
The company's customer service was really good. They always got back to me quickly and answered all my questions about my order. The trousers I bought were top-notch quality and I'm really happy with what I got. The only thing that could be better is the delivery. It was a bit late, but I think that's more down to the courier rather than the company.
Men's dungarees purchase
I recently bought a pair of men's dungarees in a large size from an online store. At first, I was a bit worried because of some negative reviews and the fact that Yodel was delivering my order. However, everything turned out fine. The estimated delivery date was 2nd February, and I got my order right on time, just 7 days after ordering. The tracking info started when Yodel had the parcel in the UK, which took 5 days, but after that, I got great updates and my parcel arrived as planned. As for the dungarees, they were definitely large as stated, giving me plenty of room to move around comfortably. The quality seems good, and I think they might shrink a bit after a wash. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole shopping experience and the quality of the product.
Split order, missing parts
I recently bought something online that I thought was cool, but it ended up coming in two separate packages which was quite annoying. Despite entering my work address in the "optional" section, none of the packages had it listed on the label. Thankfully, the first package eventually arrived because the delivery person was clever enough to call me when they couldn't find the address. However, the second package was marked as delivered even though I never received it - I had to rely on a kind neighbour to bring it to me in the end. I tried contacting customer service via email, but unfortunately, they never got back to me. I'm a bit put off by the whole experience and I doubt I'll be purchasing from them again in the future.
Fast delivery and helpful customer service
I was actually quite pleased with my experience with this company. Even though I had read a few bad reviews, I thought I'd give it a go anyway, and I'm really happy that I did. The delivery of my order was really quick and efficient, and the customer service team got back to me promptly when I had questions about picking up my package. Query about a past purchase
I just wanted to say how great the after-sales service I got from Vera and Silvio was. They were so quick to reply on webchat and email, and they were really friendly and helpful. They totally went out of their way to help me with my question and I'm super thankful for their amazing customer service.
Work gear purchase
I was buzzing when I came across some cheap work clothes on Dickies Life, but it all went downhill when I saw they use Yodel for deliveries. Yodel is known for being rubbish and my suspicions were proven right when my parcel didn't show up. I've asked Dickies Life for a refund and now I'm just waiting anxiously for it to come through. Dickies, please, do us all a favour and use a different courier that actually does what they say they will.
Quality products at fair prices
I've been really pleased with the stuff I've bought from this shop. The things are top-notch, strong, and they've lasted longer than I thought they would. It's pretty obvious to me that Dickies has some major issues with how they run things in the UK, and the CEO needs to know about the terrible management and customer service.
