Makeup consultation with Lauren
I popped by the makeup counter at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge the other day for a chat with a lovely young lady named Lauren. As soon as I settled down in her chair, I could tell she really knew her stuff and was super professional. Lauren made sure to ask my permission before getting started and took the time to walk me through each step of the treatment. She managed to put both me and my daughter at ease and make us feel right at home during our visit. Not only did she give top-notch service, but she also suggested some new products that I now use every day. Lauren's skills and friendly chat made the whole thing really enjoyable and something to remember. Gotta admit, she did a sterling job representing the brand and went above and beyond my expectations.

My work is very time consuming. Sometimes I don't close on time due to high volume of work. Whenever I close I don't usually have time to go do my shopping. It was my sister I used to send to go shop for me and sometimes she would bring back things I didn't like. So I started shopping for my needs online but found only a little satisfaction from the online stores. The first day I tried Harvey Nichols, they didn't just delivered goods on time but also charged the best price ever. My sister was surprised on how I made such right choices. Now, Harvey Nichols has become our family supplier of groceries and beauty products.
Clothing and accessories
My visit to Harvey Nichols was absolutely amazing. As soon as I stepped inside, the staff greeted me warmly and assisted me in finding exactly what I needed. The range of clothing and accessories on offer was fantastic and carefully chosen, making it simple for me to discover items that matched my taste. The customer service, especially from Michelle, was outstanding. She truly went the extra mile to make sure I had a great shopping trip and was well-informed about the products. Overall, I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and effectiveness of the Harvey Nichols team.
Shoes from the fancy shop
Niz's review is all about those shoes that caused issues after a mere 3 months of wear, but thankfully, the customer service team at the upmarket store in London really came through and helped resolve the problem with the French brand. Although the shoes couldn't be repaired, at least the brand agreed to foot the bill. Niz reckons they won't be splurging on shoes from that brand again, and instead, will opt for other brands like Tod's or Ferragamo.
Leather jacket purchase
I am really disappointed with my recent purchase from this posh store. I bought a lovely leather jacket, but it arrived with the security tag still on. It was so inconvenient, and the customer service solution was really disappointing. All they said was I could get a refund for the delivery fee and I have to send the jacket back to have the tag taken off, but they couldn't tell me how long it would take. This store is supposed to be all about luxury and quality, so this kind of service is just not on at all.
Coat and Accessories
The service I got at the Manchester store was outstanding. Aoife really went the extra mile to help me and my mates with our shopping. She knew so much about the products and gave us some great advice. I was really impressed by how friendly and professional she was, it made my shopping trip really enjoyable. I hadn't been to the store in ages, but because of Aoife's amazing service, I'll definitely be back soon. Cheers!
Mum's special birthday perfume
I went to the department store the other day to pick out a special birthday present for my mum. The store was easy to get around, and the staff were really nice and helpful. There was this lady, Mandy, from the fragrance department who was especially great. She gave us some great advice, helped my mum pick out the perfect perfume, and knew so much about all the different scents. All in all, me and my mum had a lovely time shopping at the store.
Statement piece shoes
I went to Harvey Nichols to find a really special pair of shoes, and I was so pleased to find exactly what I was looking for. Ali did an amazing job in finding the last pair of shoes I wanted and even arranged for them to be delivered the next day. I recently bought a fragrance from your store and I have to say, I was really impressed with the service I got. The person who helped me knew a lot about all the fragrances they had and made it easy for me to choose. They were so patient and made sure I found the right scent for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how professional and knowledgeable the staff were.
Lingerie set purchase
I bought a lingerie set from this shop not long ago and honestly, I was really let down by the quality. The material was flimsy and didn't feel nice against my skin at all, definitely not what I was hoping for considering how much I spent. On top of that, the sizing was all wrong, so there was no way I could wear it comfortably. When I tried to get a refund or swap it, the customer service team were not helpful at all - rude, if anything. The whole thing just left me feeling pretty disappointed and I don't plan to shop there again in the future.
Designer dress
I recently bought a designer dress online and the service I got from the store was really disappointing. Instead of getting the dress I ordered, they sent me eye contact lenses! Can you believe it? I quickly contacted customer service, sent them photos of the wrong item but all I got was a weak response saying they'll check CCTV footage. It's been 5 days now and still no fix. If it were my business, I'd want a reply within 24 hours, not 5 days later. It's just so frustrating and not on.
Box of chocolates
I bought a box of chocolates from Harvey Nichols as a gift, but I was really let down by what I received. The chocolates only had a best-before date of 4 weeks, which made me hesitant about giving them to someone. When I contacted Harvey Nichols about this problem, they just referred me to their terms and conditions and wouldn't give me an exchange or refund. As someone looking for high-quality products, I thought their customer service was really disappointing. In the future, I'll definitely consider other places to do my shopping.
Bulk wine order disappointment
I recently ordered a large amount of wine from an online store for an upcoming event, but was disappointed to receive much less than I had expected. To make matters worse, I was charged the full amount even though the company knew they couldn't fulfil my order completely. The lack of proper documentation of the delivery added to my frustration, so I contacted customer services for clarification. Unfortunately, there was no apology for the mistake, and I was simply told that a refund would be processed in 10 days. The whole experience was really disappointing and made me doubt the basic order management practices at Harvey Nichols.
Expensive belt exchange
It's absolutely ridiculous that I can't exchange this belt for a smaller size just because of a 14-day return policy. I haven't even worn it and it's still in the original packaging, so what's the harm in a straightforward exchange? If you're paying a premium price, you should at least expect premium customer service!
Watch servicing
I got my watch fixed at a shop in Manchester. The chap named Charlie who owns the store was so friendly and knowledgeable about watches. He kept me updated via email on the progress of my watch - pretty fancy! Big thanks, Charlie!
Online order return issue
I recently had a really disappointing experience with my online order from Harvey Nichols. The website made me think I could return my order to the Dublin store, but it turned out that wasn't the case at all. The whole confusion around the return process really wound me up and ended up costing me more money than I expected. I was told to use a DHL link for returns, but it didn't work for Ireland, and the other option of using the Irish website came with a massive price tag of over €40. I've sent multiple emails trying to sort it out, but haven't had any luck, and I'm now out of pocket by €250. The customer service at Harvey Nichols has been useless, and I'm really disappointed in the lack of help and guidance when it comes to returns.
Cute dress
I popped over to Harvey Nichols earlier with my mum to pick out a nice dress, but let me tell you, the staff there were shockingly rude! I mean, seriously, rude. At the beauty counter, this lady straight up ignored me while I was waiting to pay. She just went and helped this guy who seemed to materialise out of thin air and didn't even give me a nod. Another lady told me to head over to a different till. It made me feel so neglected and a bit miffed, to be honest. I definitely won't be returning there anytime soon!
Designer shoes purchase
I recently bought a pair of designer shoes from this store and when they arrived, I was really disappointed with their condition. They looked like they had been worn before, with marks and damage on the soles, missing bits at the front, and dirt on the top. The packaging wasn't great either, it didn't have any safety papers to protect the shoes during delivery. I got in touch with customer service from both the store and the brand, but their responses were unhelpful and the solutions they offered were not enough. Even though I paid a lot for the shoes, the discount they gave me was small and didn't match the damage. It was annoying to see the lack of care for a loyal customer like me. I won't be buying from this store again, and I'll stick to more reliable retailers in the future.
