    I recently bought the Rendezvous/Paradise Deluxe Gazebo, which is a 3m x 3m size, and I have to say, I am really impressed with how great the product is.     We got a stronger tarpaulin

    I bought a tent five months ago, the tent was used by my family for shields anytime we desire to stay outdoor to play games or have some fun. Two months after the purchase I discovered the tent is always bent at the sight of a little breeze. I thought we could manage It. One day it completely fell. It injured my little boy a bit. I was madly angry. I folded the tent and kept it. My wife then told me that is not the best solution, she said she read about House of tent online we should try to order a stronger tarpaulin. I listened to her and got a tarpaulin from House of the tent. since then, I have had no issues with fallen or bent tents. We enjoy our outdoor games.

    Large storage tent, 2nd purchase

    Oh my gosh, House of Tents is absolutely fantastic! I recently purchased my second large storage tent (10m x 8m) from them, and the whole process from ordering to delivery was a breeze. My first tent from them (10m x 5m) is still in great condition after 7 years, so I knew I had to go back to them for another one. The instructions were simple to follow and they even included some extra bits. Their customer service is excellent, they answered all my questions really quickly. I would definitely recommend House of Tents to anyone in need of a durable and high-quality tent.

    Marquee Order for Party

    I bought a marquee from this company for a party, but it's been a nightmare. I ordered on May 22nd and was told it would arrive in 2-3 days, but it never came even though I got tracking numbers and was given a delivery date of the 24th. I tried to get in touch with them but no luck. They rescheduled for the 28th, but that also fell through. The customer service folks I spoke to were unhelpful, rude, and very unprofessional. They never followed up with info on where my order was. Then, on the 9th day, they told me one box was damaged and the last unit was gone. This messed up my party plans for the next day, as I had no time to make other arrangements. I asked for a refund but still haven't heard back. This whole experience has been a total nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

    I recently bought a poly tunnel online and I've got to say, the whole experience was a bit of a let-down. It all started off well with an easy ordering process and me paying for it without any issues. But when it came to actually getting the product, that's when the problems started. I was told it would be delivered on a Wednesday but it didn't show up, which meant I had to take time off work for nothing. I spent five days ringing up trying to find out where it was, only to be given excuses and told to wait. It was really frustrating because it felt like they weren't taking me seriously at all. It was only when I threatened to cancel my order that they started to actually do something about it. Eventually, it turned up in a pretty battered box a whole 9 days after it was meant to arrive. The lack of communication and the state it was in when it got here was really disappointing and not up to scratch.

    I was really let down by my time with this company. I bought a tent for a camping trip but had to send it back because of some issues. It's been nearly a month now since I started the return process and I've been phoning the customer service team every day, but all I get are empty promises and excuses. The warehouse team's lack of communication and follow-up is just not on. It feels like they are intentionally stalling my refund, which is annoying and really unprofessional. I'd recommend avoiding this company as they don't seem to be operating in an honest way.

    6x8m - 3.0m Sides PVC “Industrial” Tent (Article no.: 93875)

    Poor quality products / Even poorer customer service

    We bought the 6x8m - 3.0m Sides PVC “Industrial” Tent (Article no.: 93875) back in November.

    Even we also purchased their statics package and got it professionally installed, the canvas came off the first weekend of bad weather – which in England is every other weekend.

    When the installers came back to put the canvas back again, we noticed the welding in a couple of the pole connectors was broken… this is not an expected rip in the canvas or any other minor thing… after only over a month of usage THE WELDING of the structure broke!
    Being this a really serious hazard, we took the structure down immediately.

    At the same time, we called house of tents, already over the phone the person that took the call was totally dismissive and couldn’t care less. We sent the pictures for evidence by email and after a week no reply…
    I followed up and the call bounced in Spain – cause as you might guess they claim to be busy and not having enough staff – even the lady that took the call was a bit kinder, she explained that since we put it up, we couldn’t return it or get a refund.

    I mentioned repeatedly this is a quality and SAFETY issue, but they stick to their script and only offered to provide a replacement of the broken pieces and simply stopped replying when we insist this was not a minor issue.
    The only written reply I got was an email full of contradictory info… a product they advertised saying, I quote their website: “industrial grade”, “robust steel frame”, “very durable and stable - ideal for long-term use!” Or “protects from wind ... rain - simply the best outdoor storage!”
    When there is a problem, they come back with things like “the product was not tested for wind and snow”, but right before saying “warranty does not cover damages caused by extreme weather conditions exceeding winds of more than 50 kilometres per hour”.
    The weather in the UK and most of Europe is ‘adverse’ most of the winter…so this product then is not fit for purpose in the market they are selling. So aside selling a product that not fit for purpose, they play big with FALSE ADVERTISING.

    Be aware since Brexit, none of the consumers offices (trading standards, UKICC, etc) get involved in this kind of cases. House of tents in based in Germany, the website has in their legal notice that for disputes you can reach out to the EU ODR, but this entity is not taking cases for goods bought in the UK since 2021…so basically you buy with them (or any other EU base vendor) at your own risk, and they are fully aware of it.

    With their customer service being beyond terrible, we had to reach out to our bank and present the case to get our money back.
    As you can imagine with the evidence we had and their behaviour it wasn’t hard to raise our case, but it is disgraceful to have to come to that due to such an irresponsible vendor.
