The range of products on the website was really good, and I managed to find the CDs I wanted at decent prices. The delivery times were just as I thought they would be, and the CDs I bought were in good shape and played well. But, I was a bit let down to see that the CD cases were cracked for the last couple of purchases I made. It might have happened before they were sent out or during delivery because of how they were packaged. I had to switch the cases myself, which was a bit of a hassle.
Quick and efficient sale
Selling my old tech with them was really easy. The free postage label was a nice bonus, it made sending my items super simple. I received payment on the same day they got my package, and I got the full amount they quoted online. In general, I was really pleased with the whole process and would definitely recommend them to others.
4 Blu-Rays purchase
I recently bought 4 Blu-Rays for a bargain price of 8 quid from this seller. The Blu-Rays were in great condition and arrived quickly with free delivery. Since I'm a collector of physical media, I was really pleased with the quality of what I got. The only issue I had was finding the 4 for 8 quid deal on the website.
Second-hand CD purchase
Mate, I've got to say, Music Magpie is killing it lately. I've been buying second-hand CDs for ages and honestly, the quality has got so much better. It used to be hit and miss - some CDs wouldn't even work properly and some looked like they'd been through the wars. But now, most of them are in top-notch 'used-very good' condition. And the prices are always spot on, plus they ship really quickly in eco-friendly packaging. Big up, Music Magpie!
Dodgy phone speaker
Honestly, I saved up a lot of my pocket money to get this phone only to find out that the speaker wasn't working properly. I couldn't even hear the person on the other end of the line, it was so embarrassing. I had to go back to using my old phone while I waited for them to fix it or give me a replacement. It was really frustrating. They claim to do all these checks before selling their products, but let's be real, voice quality should be a basic standard.
DVD boxset purchase
I was having a browse on the website the other day and came across a really good offer on a DVD boxset. I thought why not and decided to go for it. Well, let me tell you, I was chuffed when it turned up only 3 days later. The boxset was brand new, still sealed and looked even better than I expected. I would definitely give a big thumbs up to this seller.
Got money for games
I managed to sell my old games online and received the money in my bank after just 7 days. The website was so user-friendly and I didn't encounter any issues while posting them for sale. It was definitely the best choice out of all the other sites I had a look at.
CD purchase
This was my first time buying something from the website and, all in all, it was okay. The CD I ordered came in good condition and I was happy with it. I did take off a star from my rating though because I didn't get any confirmation of my order straight away. I get that it might have been delayed because of the bank holiday, but they could have been better at communicating about it.
Awesome condition CD, arrived super quick

Happy with iPhone purchase
I recently got this amazing iPhone from Music Magpie and I'm absolutely chuffed with it! I was thinking of selling it to my phone provider, but then I found out about Music Magpie and they offered me way more money. I mean, an extra £100! How great is that? So, definitely make sure to check out Music Magpie before selling any of your old tech because they're fantastic and you could get a lot more money for your stuff. Giving a huge thanks to them for being so awesome! 👏
Various DVDs and CDs
I've always been pleased with the service from this company. Whether it's DVDs, CDs, or other bits and bobs, I hardly ever have any problems. But when there have been hiccups, Music Magpie have sorted them out quickly and to my liking. The range and quality of products they offer are fab, and buying from them is easy and handy. All in all, I've had a good time shopping with this company.

The process was quick and easy. Communication was great and the money was transferred promptly. I would definitely recommend this to others.
Prompt and helpful customer service
I recently had a bit of bother trying to send my parcel to Music Magpie as it wasn't accepted at the drop off point. But, the customer service team was really great in sorting everything out for me. They sorted it all out quickly by changing the delivery method and giving me a new label. Thanks to them, I managed to send off my parcel without any issues. Their quick and effective help really made the whole thing less stressful and I was very impressed with how efficiently they dealt with the problem.
Selling old CDs
I really enjoyed selling my old CDs to this place! It was great that I didn't have to pay to send them. And I got paid really quickly too, which was fantastic. I'm going to let all my family know about this and definitely use it again.
Sell my phone
MusicmagPie offered a lucrative price to get me to send my phone to them, phone was sent in full working order (I have image proof), a false assessment was done and new offer of £73.50 (original offer £260) was offered due to 'heavy cosmetic wear'. Phone was received back broken, unable to switch on. The following day the device was brought to Apple (have a report/proof of this) who said (in the eyes of the maker and supplier) the phone has NO cosmetic damage, Apple also ran tests and said hardware had been broken or removed from the phone. Reported to MusicmagPie who now completely ignore me. Reported to trading standards and Ombudsman and now starting legal proceedings. The money is irrelevant, what matters is me, as an individual, if I stole something or damaged someones property this would be a crime and I would be held accountable, and so companies like this need to be held to the same accountability.
I sold them books and cds that they refuse to pay me for.
100% Scam
I received an email saying my payment was sent. It's been a week since my items were processed and I still have not received the payment.
I've attempted to contact them.several times and the first time (a day after receiving the email saying payment had been sent, customer service said my order was still processing.
I responded to that email and have since been ignored except for them to say the order is complete and as they have sent the payment, they can't even return my items because they have "recycled" them.
So they took my items under false pretenses, destroyed them and refuse to pay me. I've reported them to Trading Standards, Action Fraud and the police as they scammers and have destroyed my property that was stolen from me.Sold an iPhone 11
Do not use this company, they are great when it works, but when they lose something ( which to be fair could happen to anyone) they take no responsibility. They are quite happy to return somebody else’s broken phone to me, whilst taking no responsibility for losing my phone. This could of been resolved so easily and I have given them plenty of opportunities to do so, but they literally do not care.

MusicMagpie lost my phone order 8125392
I received a quote from MusicMagpie for my iPhone XS 256GB for £142 on 21/04/2023 and I shipped it off on 26/04/2023.
On 29/04/2023 they sent me a revised offer of £40 citing that the screen is cracked, which I declined and asked for the phone to be returned since I know the phone was in perfect condition when it left me. I bought the phone brand new in 2018, and kept it in a quad lock case with toughened glass protection on it. The only fault was the battery would only last me a day.
Having sustained an injury and ending up with surgery etc. I did not have the time to follow up on why my phone wasn't sent back until 18/05/2023. After not getting anywhere and starting to chase it daily last week, the MusicMagpie team now have no idea where my phone is, and Apple support say they can't help as I removed it from my Apple account therefore I have no serial number or IMEI to ask for it to be blocked.
Please avoid MusicMagpie unless you have valuable items to throw away!Buy

I sent my order to their warehouse and they said they never received it. Even though Royal Mail had confirmed they had delivered it. They are nothing short of professional thieves who are disingenuous and cannot be trusted. For weeks I tried and tried to resolve this with customer service but they were condescending and dismissive. They had insinuated that I made a mistake and that they cannot find the package even though the items were clearly marked. I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR SELLING. They are not to be trusted. Do not make the mistake I made and be left out of pocket. Go to a competitor
