I almost didn't sign up — I'd been burned by a different marketplace before and that initial joining fee made me doubt it straight away. Still, I went for it, put time into my little e‑shop and waited. The platform felt a bit awkward at first (dashboard glitches, I rang support a couple of times), but in the end they did fix the main issues — slowly, but they did. Orders were tiny at first, then steadied into a steady trickle, nothing flashy but enough to make the effort worthwhile. There are niggles — help pages could be clearer and some bits are clunky — but overall I'm glad I stuck with it. If you're wary like I was, give it a try, just be patient. Honestly quite pleased it worked out and a bit relieved.
Avoid this marketplace
I'd avoid this marketplace. That's my bottom line, and here's why. I ordered what looked like a decent gift from a vendor on their site — the seller was listed as The Giftologists with an address shown. The parcel that turned up was a cheap pound‑shop item, badly wrapped in tissue, nothing like the photos. I contacted the seller, then used the site's customer service email — you get an automated reply and then silence. Tried phoning too but the lines were dead, so I raised a dispute with my card issuer. I also warned a friend who was about to buy; told them not to bother. The platform supposedly wants sellers to resolve disputes first but didn't enforce anything in my case. I'm annoyed but resigned — it's a waste of time and money. If you spot odd listings, be cautious and check your card protection. I may sound harsh, but that's because I lost time and cash.
Unexpectedly pleased, despite everything
I’d been browsing for ages after getting a 15% code by email, but at checkout the code wouldn’t apply. Called them, and apparently it had expired two minutes earlier — which felt daft after an hour on the site. They wouldn’t budge, which annoyed me because I run a site too and know teams can honour a discount if they want. So product 10/10, customer care not. If you buy, keep screenshots of vouchers and maybe ring before you pay — could save grief.
Bit underwhelmed overall
it worked, but not smoothly and I wouldn’t call it great. I ordered three things for everyday bits and a birthday present, and two out of three left me feeling a bit annoyed rather than pleased. So yes, it’s usable, but I won’t be rushing back. Right away — the website felt clunky, the prices seemed high for what you actually get, and the way one cancellation was handled rubbed me up the wrong way. Let me explain. First item: a box of chocolates I bought as a small treat. On the pictures it looked like something a bit special, but when it arrived it didn’t read as bespoke at all. It was smaller than I expected, packaging felt ordinary, and I suspect I paid more than it was worth. I like to have that little moment when I open a gift and think, “ooh,” but this didn’t give me that. It wasn’t terrible — the chocolates were fine — but the presentation missed the mark. Second item: this was supposed to be a sentimental birthday gift. The order went through, I was told it would arrive in a few days, and then I get a PayPal refund without much explanation. Only after I’d already started panicking about last-minute alternatives did I get an email saying the order was cancelled. That was inconvenient, to put it mildly. The follow-up message from the seller felt defensive and slightly passive-aggressive, basically saying the price had been wrong and that they couldn’t afford the difference. Fair enough, mistakes happen, but the tone could’ve been a lot more straightforward — “sorry, listing error” — and I’d have been fine. Instead it read like a lecture, and the email ended with an odd invite to buy again now the listing’s been “fixed.” No thanks. I didn’t chase it further; I found another present in the nick of time but it caused unnecessary stress that could’ve been avoided. The third item is still en route, and that’s fine — I hope it turns out better, but delivery so far has felt slower than I’d expected. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any easy way to raise a complaint on the site itself; you’re pushed to contact the seller, which I found off-putting since I didn’t want to get into awkward back-and-forths. Overall: service wasn’t terrible, refunds were honoured, and one product will probably be fine, but the website experience, unclear listings and tone of communication left a sour note. It’s okay for occasional browsing or low-stakes buys, but for presents or anything that matters to you, I’d be cautious.
Slightly wary at first, but it turned out okay
bits looked scuffed, the seat didn’t sit quite right with the arms and the personalisation was off-centre. So my initial doubts felt justified, honestly. I got in touch via Not on the High Street and was offered either a replacement or a refund. I asked for a refund but was told I’d need to return the chair, and I couldn’t dismantle it. That felt like a catch-22 at first. I rang the company too and they said orders via Not on the High Street were handled through them — a bit of a runaround, so I was annoyed. I’ll say this: after a couple more calls and sending photos, the situation was sorted — not instantly, not perfectly smooth, but they arranged collection and refunded me. So the scepticism I had before buying didn’t vanish straight away, but persistence paid off. I’ve had good and bad dealings with other sellers before, so I wasn’t surprised by the hiccups, but I was pleased they did finally fix it. Not flawless, but acceptable in the end.
Trinket case - overpriced discount shop garbage
The gift was mean to be for a christening. The website showed a well made trinket box that could be personalised. What arrived was a cheap knock off of what the showed online.I tried to contact vendor with no response. I complained to NOTHS twice: once via their website then using their customer service email. I got two automated replies with reference numbers but no actual response to my requests for a refund and to remove the scammets from their website.
AVoid this company as your experience of them now has a high probability of being poor.Misleading delivery estimate
The products are always top-notch when they eventually arrive, but I reckon the delivery estimates can sometimes be a bit misleading. I bought something recently that was meant to get to me by a specific date, but it’s been sent through a delivery service known for being a bit dodgy, so chances are, I won’t be getting it on time. It’s frustrating because this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with deliveries being delayed in the past.
Late delivery, damaged and poorly packaged gift
I was really let down by my experience with this company. The thing I ordered came way later than expected, and once it did arrive, it was all banged up because of shoddy packaging. I attempted to get in touch with the company several times about it, but they never bothered to reply. Their customer service was just shocking. I won't be giving them any more of my business, that's for sure.
Personalized leather keychain
I bought a cool leather keychain from this online marketplace the other day and I have to say, I was really impressed with how good it looked. The quality and craftsmanship were top-notch, just like they said on the website. The personalisation was spot on too, really nicely done with lots of attention to detail. And when I had a question about the keychain, the customer service was super quick and helpful. All in all, I'm really happy with what I bought and I'd definitely recommend this platform to anyone who wants something unique and high-quality.
Awesome order, prompt delivery
I was really impressed with my first order, so I decided to get two more for my mates. Yeah, the prices might be a tad steep, but it's important to back small businesses, innit? The stuff is always top quality and I've never had any issues with them. Ordering to delivery was a breeze and it was done in a jiffy. On top of that, they take Apple Pay and Klarna, which is a plus. The website is ace and I'll definitely be getting more from there in the future! Cheers!
Fake product, terrible customer service
This company is a complete joke, mate. The bag I got was nothing like what I ordered - it was a rubbish knock-off of the brand they were advertising. And when I tried to speak to customer service, all I got was automated replies that didn't actually help with my problem. It seems like they only want to hear nice things, because my negative review mysteriously disappeared. I reckon you should steer clear of this company, it's just not worth the hassle.
Non-delivery issue
I bought something from this website not long ago but I never got it. The seller said they sent it to the wrong address, which is really annoying. I won't be buying from this site again after this mess.
Golden wedding anniversary gift
What a nightmare! I was really looking forward to getting the ideal gift for my best mate's golden wedding anniversary, but the whole thing turned sour thanks to awful customer service. When I attempted to pay with PayPal, the transaction just wouldn't work out. I tried reaching out to the company via email for help, but it was hopeless - no useful response, no help at all. Absolutely maddening. Needless to say, I'll steer clear of this company in the future. Just a heads up for you.
Personalized birthstone necklace
I bought a special birthstone necklace for my mother-in-law with her grandkids' names engraved on it. Sadly, after only a few months, the necklace went all black, which was a real let down. If only I had checked the reviews before buying it. I wouldn't suggest this product to anyone else, it was just a waste of money.
Replacement goods
I had a problem with an order I got from the website, but luckily their customer service team sorted everything out for me. The seller messed up my first order, but NOTHS came through and sent me replacement items quickly. This whole thing has made me feel more confident about buying from this website again in the future.
First-time purchase disappointment
I recently bought something new and I have to admit, it didn't quite meet my expectations. I decided to get in touch with customer service to arrange a return. I ended up paying for the return postage myself. I gave the product 2 stars in my review mainly because the customer service team responded to my queries very quickly.
Misleading cushion covers
The cushion covers I bought were a real let down. They didn't match the picture on the website at all and faded completely after one wash. The design was smaller and the color was way lighter than what was shown. When I asked for a refund, they told me to send the covers back at my own cost for testing. But after I did that, I never heard back from them and ended up with no covers and less money. It was really annoying and expensive, so I won't be buying from them again.
Adverse disruption
I'm sorry to say, but my time with this company has been spoiled by their annoying adverts on YouTube. I get really frustrated when ads pop up while I'm trying to watch something, so I've decided to stop supporting them, just like all the other companies who do the same thing. It's a shame that businesses feel the need to use these intrusive tactics to get attention, and I really hope they think about changing their approach to advertising in the future.
Pebble picture purchase
I bought a lovely pebble picture from a little local company on this platform recently. Gracefully Gifted, the company, gave me the best service all through. They kept me updated by email on how my order was doing, and it actually arrived sooner than I thought. The product was even better than I imagined, so I'll definitely shop there again.
Silver necklace
I purchased this amazing silver necklace because I thought it looked really cool. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how great it looked in person! It arrived very quickly and the quality is top-notch. I honestly can't find any faults with it and I will definitely be purchasing from them again!
