I picked up a couple of Quiz dresses after my mate recommended them — the fabric feels nice, light and fits comfy, but the whole ordering/refund thing was a faff. Ordered via Very, they shipped from Quiz, then refunds stalled. Have one returned and still waiting for weeks; a bit annoying but dresses are decent.
Bit of a saga
So I placed an order in January for about £200 of clothes and returned a few dresses the next day — I sent proof, I chased them. At first I was sceptical, everyone pointing fingers, but after persistent emails the refund finally came. Still annoyed at the runaround, but relieved it was sorted in the end.
Mostly OK, communication lacking
Saw them on Facebook after a mate recommended them, I was sceptical at first — worried about returns. The items were fine, but after sending them back I still haven’t had my refund. Loads of emails and FB messages, always the same line about waiting 10 days even when it had passed. Bit sloppy.
Toast, an email and a refund
fee explained, refund offered, parcel still arrived. Not flawless, stressful at times, but when they fixed it I finally relaxed.
Half my order gone
Opened the parcel and two dresses were missing. Felt ridiculous. Courier seems to have pinched them and customer service was slow and just shrugged, saying it's not their problem. I paid with PayPal though, so there's a decent chance of getting my money back — that helped. I'd be cautious ordering until they sort returns.
Nearly missed out
There I was, rushing to an awards dinner with a bag and no spare time, when I spotted a jacket I had to have. In-store they didn't have my size and I was wary about ordering online — I've had dodgy fits before. I ordered that evening; four days later in Guernsey a lovely jacket arrived, fitted well and pretty much saved the night. Picked up a few accessories since. I don't often treat myself, but I'll be back.
Wrong pair, refund hassle
different style, colour and size. I emailed and heard nothing, so I placed a second order. The replacement was correct, which was a relief, but I still had to cover return postage for their mistake. Tip: check straight away and insist on a refund for postage.
Slightly relieved, mostly annoyed
I’d ordered this because my back was playing up and I needed something to help for the move — honest, urgent. It didn’t arrive next day like they promised, which was a proper pain, but when it did show up I actually felt immediate relief and that’s when I knew it’d been worth it. Customer service? Pretty blunt and unhelpful about refunds, they only gave the tiny delivery difference back and stuck to policy. So grateful it worked, annoyed at the rest, but in the end relieved.
Quite a surprise after a messy start
I ordered this for a Saturday dinner and opened the box the same evening. At first I was gutted — the wrong item turned up and it looked grubby, smelled odd and had bits of hair on it, so not great. Customer service phoned quickly though, actually apologised and arranged collection plus a replacement. That was faster than I expected and the new one arrived clean and ready to use the next day. Bit of a faff at first, but honestly really glad it worked out and they sorted it properly.
Awkward return, decent dress
I almost didn't bother writing this but thought it's worth a heads-up. I bought a Quiz dress through Macy's after hesitating because I wasn't sure about sizing and some mixed reviews. It arrived, I tried it on at home and liked the cut, but it was slightly tight so I returned it within a week. That's where the problems began. Quiz logged the return as received after thirty days and flagged it as 'defective', claiming they'd emailed me with the reason for no refund. Only after phoning Macy's three times did I get that information. I can't get over that they might have disposed of the item and labelled it faulty. It remains unresolved.
A bit of a palaver
the returns portal wouldn’t recognise my order number, the instructions contradicted each other and I couldn’t get anyone from customer service to answer properly. Felt like I was chasing ghosts and repeating myself a lot. It’s not terrible overall, but I wouldn’t risk another purchase until their support and returns process is fixed. My tip: keep all screenshots and be prepared to chase.
Almost my new go-to
I nearly didn't buy this — had all the usual doubts about fit and whether it'd look like the photos, and I even considered skipping the earrings. In the end I sized up as suggested and, well, it wasn't perfect but it's become a proper everyday dress for me. The wrap is a bit fiddly (you do have to spend a minute sorting the ties), and the sleeves are awkward to pull on sometimes, but once it's on it hangs nicely and I wear it for work-from-home days, quick supermarket runs and a lunch out. The earrings are cheaper than I expected, not fancy, but fine for casual wear. Delivery was spot on and really quick, which helped me forgive the small faults. Overall I like it, even if it's not flawless.
Oddly relieved in the end
soft fabric, sits nicely on the shoulders and feels comfy enough to wear all evening (not scratchy, worth the money for the feel). Trouble was the whole return/refund faff. Customer service was painfully slow — only email and it took about five days for each reply, so solving a simple shipping-code problem stretched over nearly two weeks. I was stressed for a bit, waiting to know if I’d get my money back for a £40 dress (I mean, it’s not nothing). Anyway, they did sort it eventually and I did get the refund, which I’m grateful for. Could’ve been smoother with a phone line or quicker replies, but product quality and the final outcome left me reasonably pleased. Would I order again? Maybe — but I’d think twice about relying on their support.
Changed my mind
I first saw the dress on Instagram, my mate had actually tipped me about it, so I ordered without thinking too hard. The parcel was late, which annoyed me, and when it arrived the diamanté bag had stones missing and the dress looked a bit tired, not new at all. I tried to return it via Asda but they wanted a QR code or printed label I never got — typical. Customer service was slow to reply, I pestered them a few times and then, after a proper faff, they finally sent the code and agreed a refund. That moment — when the refund notification landed — is when I actually felt satisfied, oddly enough. Still not thrilled about the initial quality or the hassle, but the end result was fair. I’d tell someone about it now, but I'd warn them to expect a bit of bother first.
A bit worried, then relieved
I first spotted the outfit on Very’s catalogue while killing time and a mate actually tipped me off. Delivery was surprisingly quick, which I liked straight away. I did need to send two bits back — about £87 worth — and at first it felt like it was going to be a right palaver. I used the return label that came in the packet and posted it back to Quiz like it said. Ten days went by and I hadn’t heard a thing. So I phoned up, a couple of calls later, and yes, there was a bit of back-and-forth between Very and Quiz. It was a bit frustrating, I won’t pretend otherwise. But ultimately someone picked it up, apologised and sorted the refund. It wasn’t instant, but it was handled and I’m properly grateful they followed through. The delivery was fine, the staff I eventually spoke to were helpful, and I’d recommend keeping receipts and labels handy — they helped speed things up. Glad it worked out in the end. Worth a try if you’re tempted.
Special occasion outfit
I bought a really nice outfit for a special occasion from this store and I'm really happy with how it all turned out. They had a great range of outfits and accessories that all went well together, so it was easy for me to find everything I needed. I've always been impressed with the quality of their clothes, and whenever I wear them I always get compliments. The delivery was quick and everything arrived in perfect condition. Overall, I'm really pleased with my shopping experience at this store.
Online order prompt delivery, perfect fit, impressed
It was my first time ordering online and I must say I was really impressed with the service from this company. The delivery was super quick, and the stuff I got fitted perfectly. I wore them to my mate's wedding and got loads of nice comments on my outfit. I'm really happy with my buy and how smooth the shopping went overall.
Easy order, speedy delivery, good quality
I just got some bits from this clothes shop and honestly, I was well chuffed with the whole thing. The website was dead easy to use and ordering was a breeze. The delivery came proper quick and I liked that they kept me in the loop with updates. The stuff I got was top-notch quality, well happy with what I got.
Quick delivery with updates
The delivery was really fast, and they kept me updated on when my item would arrive. Ordering from them was so easy, and if I needed to return something, the process was simple. I haven't shopped online as much with any other company.
Broken necklace purchase
I ordered a necklace from this place and I was really looking forward to receiving it. However, when it finally arrived, I was gutted to see that it was actually broken - it was pretty obvious even before I had unwrapped it. I got in touch with customer service straight away to let them know about the problem and asked for a replacement when I sent the faulty one back. Can you believe they said they couldn't send me a new one and I'd have to pay for delivery all over again? Absolutely outrageous. After a bit of back and forth, they said they would let me return it without a fee, but I still had to shell out for delivery... again! What a rip-off! Such terrible service and it ended up being a total waste of money.
