Solar panel kit with charge controller
I recently bought a solar panel kit with a charge controller from this company. The buying process was easy, and the parts came in separate packages from different places, but all delivery was free. However, I did have a problem with the MPPT charge controller. It seems like the controller can't handle the OCV of the four panels in colder temperatures. Once the temperature goes above 60F, everything works well with the panels connected in series. However, every morning I get overvolt errors and need to cover the panels briefly to reset the controller manually. It needs to go under 90V to reset. I'm thinking of wiring the panels in series-parallel to avoid this issue, but it looks like the controller should have been rated to match the real-world performance of the panels.

I bought a 100Ah AGM battery not long ago and I've been using it for about three months now. I can honestly say it's been living up to its reputation. 200ah bluetooth battery and charger
I bought a 200ah bluetooth battery and charger from this company for nearly £1000. But when the charger turned up, it was badly packed in a damaged box with no manual or spare fuse. To top it off, when I tried to register the warranty online, it was already done. It was obvious the unit I got was faulty and probably sent to me as new after being returned by someone else. The charger would only work on and off and couldn't keep the battery charged. Despite a lot of hassle with customer service, I eventually got sent a replacement unit while I was away, even though I had asked for it not to be delivered then. The new charger was just dumped behind my bin and, while it worked well initially, it's now starting to have the same issues as the first one. It seems like there's a recurring manufacturing problem that hasn't been sorted out properly. Trying to talk to customer service was difficult without a phone number - I had to deal with a complicated email system. Their replies took ages, and they even asked for a video of the charger failing, which felt like a delay tactic. Although the battery has been fine until now, my online search shows that my warranty wasn't actually registered like I thought.
Open box item purchase
I just wanted to share my experience with this thing I bought because it was meant to be a great deal as it was open box, but boy was I wrong! When it turned up, it was completely broken! Everyone I've spoken to has been really kind and trying to help me return it, but it's taking absolutely ages! I've had to constantly nag them to make any progress. And to top it off, the support account thing is so confusing and irritating, I have to enter an extra code every single time I want to log in, like seriously, why is that necessary?! Also, I can't even reply to the emails they send because they come from a no-reply address, so rude! They didn't even bother mentioning that I wouldn't receive a replacement item straight away, I had to ask and then wait. I informed them it was broken the day I received it back in April, and now it's June and I still haven't received a refund! Ugh, it's been a nightmare!

Hey there, so I got this solar kit that had all the cool stuff like panels and wires and all that jazz. But when it arrived, one of the panels was actually broken. I tried reaching out to customer service, but they just keep asking me for the same info like my name and address over and over again. It's like they're not really doing anything to help, just dragging it out. I even waited on hold for more than an hour and ended up having to leave a voicemail. I've tried calling, chatting, emailing, and updating my case, but no one seems to be taking any action. I guess my only option now is asking my bank for assistance. It's really frustrating, to be honest.
