    Skateboard wheels

    I just wanted to share my positive experience as a customer of Route One. The staff member Meg Tweedle was absolutely fantastic. She really went out of her way to help me find the right skateboard wheels. Meg was not only really knowledgeable about the products, but she also gave me some great tips on how to look after them. Her friendly and approachable attitude made the whole shopping trip so much more enjoyable. It's not often you meet someone so dedicated to making sure customers are happy, and Meg definitely deserves credit for her amazing service.

    I've been getting shorts and t-shirts from this company for ages, and I've never really had any big problems with my orders.     As a customer looking for a certain hard-to-find item, I checked out the website reviews before deciding to buy from them. Even though there were a few bad comments, I decided to go for it because they were the only ones in the UK with the item I wanted.     I bought a really good rucksack for my daughter and it arrived about 3-5 days later. It was a decent price, but when we got it, it was all dusty and had lots of marks on it. I got in touch with customer service, they were quick to respond and asked for some photos. I decided to get a refund, which was sorted out pretty fast. Even though I was a bit disappointed at first, the customer service was so good that I'd be happy to shop with them again.

    I bought a bunch of skateboard parts from Route One the other day, thinking I'd get a smooth experience with their grip tape service. But boy, was I let down! The way they handled the order and treated me as a customer was just not up to par. When my package finally rocked up, the parts were all over the place inside, making me worry they might've been knocked around during shipping. And get this - even though I shelled out for their grip tape application service, they still sent it as a roll for me to put on myself. Not cool. Plus, one of the bits was damaged when it got to me, making me even more annoyed.

    I bought some skate shoes from this company not long ago but when they arrived, they didn't fit properly. So, I thought it would be best to return them and follow the steps they have for returns. The problem is, once I sent them back, I didn't hear anything back from them. I even tried to get in touch through emails a few times but still, after more than two weeks, there's been no response. It's just not on really, especially since they're usually so good with their customer service.

    Limited edition trainers

    I bought a pair of limited edition trainers from this company not that long ago, and I have to admit I was pretty let down by how it all turned out. At first, it all seemed okay - ordering was easy and the delivery was quick. But then, about a year later, when I actually went to wear or sell the trainers, I found out they were a totally different size to what I had ordered and what the box said. It's just crazy to me that the shoes and the box didn't match in size - a simple quality control check that should have been done.

    I bought a shirt from the shop just before the holidays. When I realised it wasn't right for me, I contacted head office to ask about their return policy. They told me on the phone that it wouldn't be a problem to return it. However, when I went back to the store with the shirt, they said they only give refunds in the form of gift cards unless something is wrong with the item. Even though I had the receipt, they didn't give me a refund. I was really disappointed by the lack of communication about this policy, especially since it wasn't mentioned on my receipt, their website, or by any of the staff I spoke to.

    Trainers order

    I ordered a pair of trainers costing more than £80 in October, but they never turned up. I sent several emails but got no reply about where my order was or getting my money back. It was really frustrating getting no communication and the problem wasn't sorted out quickly. I wouldn't recommend using this service because the customer service is terrible and they don't keep their promises.

    I recently bought a pair of baggy jeans from this company and I have to say, I wasn't that impressed with them. The sizing options were limited to long and short, so it was quite tricky finding the perfect fit. I had to alter the length myself to make it just right. The dye they used seemed to be cheap because it started coming off on my legs and hands pretty quickly. It not only looked dirty but was also hard to get rid of, I had to scrub really hard. On top of that, the jeans had a weird smell that reminded me of urine when they arrived, which was quite off-putting.
