What is attraction..In fact either him or her ,colors of apparels are too good.

On Friday the 14/08/2020 12:48 I proceeded to go out and treat myself as I hadn't had a day off work in 3 months. I brought 2 pairs of Nike SB Air Zoom Bruin Ed (size 9 and size 10), HUF medium purple tee and a HUF black tee spending a total of £239.95 inclusibe of VAT.
I then walked away rather happy with my new purchases and got home later that night. I proceeded to have a shower apply some after shave and then put the HUF black tee on however it was an extremely awkward fit around the chest area due to it being a small (I believed it to be a medium) so I immediately took the tee off and put it to one side back in the route one bag.
On the 15/08/2020 at 15:00 I then proceeded to return to the Southampton store to exchange my tee and walk away with one which fits better or a different tee of similar value. Once greeted by Becs and Jerome (if this is their real names) who instantly assumed due to the scent of Dior Homme aftershave on the tee, that I had probably worn it for longer than I was letting on.
This is not the case at all. But I was refused although I had the tags and receipts (which legally by law is an acceptable return) which I was shocked by. I then explained I had worn it for approximately 60 - 75 seconds maximum to which I was made to feel like a liar. All this when I was giving straight facts. The customer service between these 2 employees was damn right appalling to make me feel like a liar in front of other customers. I believe Route One needs to look into re-training their staff on basic customer service and consumers rights law.
I have made a complaint to head office and I will await the response. It is not about the money it is the principal in this matter. As a loyal Route One customer I have spent over £1100.00 in the last 12 months with them whether it be online or in store and on boards or apparel. I will never use the Southampton branch again and depending on the outcome of my email to head office will also depend on if I will shop online with them.
Would highly recommend going to the brands you enjoy directly as they provide a higher standard of customer. I would also recommend if you do wish to deal with Route One use the online store as I have had no issues with returns in the past.

BY LAW THIS IS THE GUIDELINE BELOW ON RETURNS WHEN YOU HAVE TAKEN THE TAGS OFF (as you can see nothing about smell or tags being removed should refuse a return) this tee was still in immaculate condition and has been only worn momentarily. They did not disagree with the condition at all they complained about the dior homme aftershave smell. Does this mean I should never use any scented shower products before trying on clothing? Because by law that would be extremely narcissistic and judgemental (depending which smells you may be happy with will depend on a return)
If you do end up removing the tags and/or losing the receipt, then the clothes will have to be in perfect condition (no wear and tear, wrinkles or stretched-out areas) for anyone to consider the return
