Four weeks late, panicked a bit — relieved it's handy for my commute.
Nearly didn't, glad I did
Spotted on a mate’s post, sceptical, then genuinely pleased.
Looks nice, smells off
Not safe for a newborn, honestly — strong chemical smell, so can't use it. Shame, looks nice and is actually surprisingly sturdy though.
Quiet relief
Needed for my aching back during a move; when it arrived intact I knew I was properly satisfied, grateful
Pram delivery sorted
I needed a pram for our newborn but we were off on holiday, so asked them to hold delivery — no fuss. Rang when back; they dropped it within a few days. Appreciated the flexible delivery, friendly service.
Quick and reliable
Really pleased — ordering was dead simple and everything turned up exactly when they said. I've used them a few times now. Products match the descriptions and the service is reliable. I'd happily recommend them to others.
Quick swap, feels solid
sturdy enough, nice finish, sits well in use. One piece arrived slightly scuffed, but customer service collected and swapped it within days. Not flawless, but good value overall.
Sorted quickly
I ordered on Friday afternoon and got it Monday morning. First time I used it I thought, yep this is right — feels solid. Had a tiny problem so I phoned and they sorted it straight away. Proper good service, really happy with it.
The relief on my doorstep
I'd been nagging my inbox and DMs for weeks, convinced it was gone, then one drizzly morning the parcel appeared and I laughed with relief. Communication was rubbish — no replies — but the product was OK. If ordering, screenshot everything and be ready to chase them.
Cut-off chat confirmed
Right when the chat dropped I realised I was actually glad I'd seen the warning signs. I first saw them on a colleague's post and tipped a friend — promise of same-day dispatch, no dispatch, and customer service just disconnects. Not impressed.
Nearly gave up on this
I was iffy about ordering — needed it for weekday lunches and worried about delivery. They ignored my first query; I had to chase them and only heard back after saying I’d cancel. The parcel arrived late but works fine, so I’m slightly relieved, still a bit annoyed though.
On-time but plain
Bought the twin pram after spotting it online a few months ago and rang to check stock. The rep got back quickly, said it was on back‑order and gave an exact delivery week. It arrived right on time. First push was straightforward, and annoyingly I was pleasantly surprised by how tidy the fold was.
Smooth first walk
carrier turned up separately and tracking was misleading, but overall worth it.
Quietly impressed
The first thing I noticed was how it sat in my hand. Solid, a bit heavier than I expected, which felt reassuring. The controls are simple. Took a minute to find the right setting, then it behaved. The finish isn't flawless — a tiny scuff on the underside — but it doesn't affect use. Setup was easy and the person on the phone was helpful, though a tad slow to pick up. I was sceptical at first, now I'm actually quite pleased and would buy again.
Nearly gave up, but glad I waited
the site said last one, then out of stock, then a couple of “it’ll be back next week” emails and I had to chase a bit. Customer service were slow to get back, which was annoying, but it did finally arrive about a week later than expected. The seat itself is what I hoped for — solid, nice padding, straps that click properly and my little one actually naps in it, which is a rare win. The box was dented and there’s a tiny scuff on the base, but nothing that affects how it works. It’s simple to fit, feels safe on daily school runs and I’ve already told a friend to try it — just be ready to nudge customer service for updates.
Nearly gave up, then saved the day
I was half ready to phone around in a panic. The local shop emailed two weeks before delivery saying the colour I wanted wasn’t in stock and I started doubting the whole plan. Found Samuel Johnston online, read a few decent reviews and phoned them. A friendly man — probably Sam — picked up and sounded genuinely keen to help. He said he’d check and call back. Ten minutes later he did. Turns out they had one left and could do express delivery. He even put it on the website for me so I could order straight away. It was about €200 cheaper than the other place too, which was a relief. Shipped the next day, DPD had it the day after — so two days from order to doorstep. One of the boxes didn’t arrive with the first driver, but Sam (or the team) replied to my email almost immediately and the missing box turned up later that same day. First time using the pram was the following weekend and I liked it straight away — sturdy, easy to push, no weird noises. I went in sceptical and came away properly impressed. Helpful staff, smooth process and would buy from them again.
Rocking horse for daughter's birthday
This is so frustrating. I wouldn't bother. I ordered a rocking horse for my daughter's birthday on the 12th of February. I sent an email on the 19th of February to ask about the delivery, but didn't hear back. I got a refund today, but now I don't have enough time to order from another company before her birthday. The service is absolutely terrible.
Travel system bought from Samuel Johnston.
I got this travel system from Samuel Johnston and I have to say, it was absolutely brilliant! The packaging was top-notch and the price couldn't be beaten. The delivery was super fast and hassle-free. I definitely recommend them and will be shopping there again in the future for sure.
Order delay frustration
I recently bought something from this company and ended up facing a delay with my order which was really frustrating. They originally said the item was in stock for May but then changed it to be in June. This sudden change meant I had to quickly find something else similar which caused a lot of stress and hassle for me. When I contacted their customer service team to ask why, they just blamed the supplier for the delay which I didn't think was fair. Since I bought it from their website, I believe it's their job to make sure they give accurate information about what's in stock.
Online purchase, easy and straightforward
Ordering from this website was really easy. It was simple to use and didn't take long at all. I managed to find exactly what I wanted and the product matched the description. Checking out was a breeze with no problems at all. All in all, I was happy with how everything went when I placed my order.
