Boots for event
I was so excited to get my hands on my new boots in time for a special event, but it turned out to be a bit of a letdown. When the package finally arrived, it was dropped off at the wrong house at the other end of my street! Luckily, the delivery person recognised my surname and it eventually made its way to me. However, when I opened it up, I discovered they had sent me two different sizes of boots, which was a real disappointment. I got in touch with customer service, who told me to speak to the warehouse manager, but that didn't really help much. After I insisted on getting the right boots and a prepaid return bag for the wrong ones, they said they would send out the correct ones. Now I'm just waiting for them to show up and crossing my fingers that they'll actually be the correct size this time around.
Cufflinks purchase
I bought a pair of cufflinks for my husband and they were a bit of a letdown. Even though the service was good, the quality wasn't great as the button design on the cufflinks fell off after just a few wears. Considering the high price, I expected better quality and was quite disappointed with what I got. I'm really hoping that the returns process goes smoothly now.
'Acorn' cuff links replacement
I was lucky enough to be given a lovely pair of 'acorn' cuff links as a gift, but sadly one of the tiger eye pieces went missing. I decided to get in touch via email, and Malcolm Bell got back to me promptly, assuring me he would send a replacement. I was delighted to find that he actually sent a whole new pair of cuff links instead of just the one piece. The service was truly excellent, and my husband was overjoyed with the replacement.
Simon Carter watch
I got this watch from a well-known brand, thinking it would be a good one, but it turned out to be a real let-down. Literally minutes after I put it on, the watch stopped working. I then had to spend another £20 on a new battery, only for the watch to keep cutting out. When I tried to take it back to the shop, they only refunded me for the watch, not the battery, so now I'm down £20. They claimed the watch was worth £150, but it's definitely not with such a dodgy Chinese mechanism. Don't waste your money on this brand, steer clear if you can.
Bee cufflinks purchased
I bought some cufflinks not long ago, but they were really poor quality. The yellow and black bits fell off after only an hour of wearing them, so they were useless. I got in touch with customer service, and John Lewis quickly sent me a new pair. But, unfortunately, the same thing happened again. So, I've sent them back and asked for a refund because of the ongoing problem. It's a shame to end up with a faulty product, especially as I was planning on giving them as a gift.
Cufflinks purchase
The website was good, and the product quality and price were both alright. I did have to contact them about my order because the first cufflinks got lost in the post. But they quickly sent a replacement, and I got it the next day. It was all sorted out well in the end, though it was annoying to have the first delivery go wrong.
Flying Ducks cuff links
I recently ordered some Flying Ducks cuff links for my son's birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a 10% discount for new customers, but unfortunately it didn't show up at the final payment stage. I decided to shoot them an email about it and I received a quick response. They manually refunded the discount to me, even on a Sunday! I was really impressed and grateful for the excellent customer service.

Oh my goodness, the customer service at this place was absolutely incredible! I spotted these really cool cuff links online that I just had to get, but they were sold out everywhere. I reached out to them and Malcolm managed to track them down for me and deliver them super quickly. It was unbelievable, so amazing!
Replacement buttons inquiry
I've got a few shirts from this brand that I really like, so I decided to contact them about getting some replacement buttons for two of my shirts that have lost a few. I was a bit gutted because, despite my love for their stuff, I didn't get any response at all. They didn't even say they got my email, which made me feel a bit ignored as a customer. I think it's crucial for a brand to give good customer service, especially to loyal customers like me. Hopefully, they'll work on their communication in the future so they can look after their customers better.
Darwin frog cufflinks purchase
I bought a pair of cufflinks from your shop not long ago, the Darwin frog ones. I have to say, I was pretty let down when they arrived. The cufflinks had some chips around the eye, and the malachite wasn't properly set on the silver, so there was a noticeable overhang. Also, the cufflinks didn't look anything like they did in the product picture. It's a shame that there was such a difference in quality and design, especially considering how much they cost.
Slim suits and flamingo shirt
My dad is so cool, he's like the best dad ever! I got him this shirt with flamingos on it for Father's Day, and he loved it. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it because it's really nice and fancy. We discovered this brand in Canada, and now my dad has bought some suits from there. He looks like a proper British spy now! I wish they'd open a store near us in New York so we can get more cool stuff like that.
Suitcase
I bought a suitcase from your store recently, and I must say I'm really disappointed with the quality of it. I only used it four times before the corner of the frame supporting a wheel completely collapsed. This is not acceptable and shows that the suitcase is not very durable. I had higher expectations from your brand, especially given the price. I'm now questioning whether your products are reliable in general and if this is a common problem. Needless to say, I'm very unhappy with my purchase and wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
Incorrect item received
My experience with the company was really disappointing because I got the wrong item in my order. I had to contact customer service, and they told me to send an email to get a returns label and put a note in the parcel with more details. It was a hassle and took a lot of time, which made the whole experience pretty bad.
Shirt order cancelled
I was proper chuffed to have gotten this amazing shirt from there, but then they totally binned my order for no reason! I was absolutely gutted, mate.
New shoes
I bought some new shoes online, but when they arrived, they were all broken and gross. The bottoms had loads of tiny stones stuck in them, and the shoes were falling apart. I sent them back and got my money back, but then I ordered the same shoes again, and they were still broken! I even left a note asking why they were so bad but got no response. So, I'm writing this review instead.
Silk sports jacket purchase
I bought a silk sports jacket from this company not too long ago, expecting it to be top-notch and luxurious. However, the seams at the back ripped after only a few wears. It's clear that there's a big problem with the quality of the fabric and how the jacket was put together. Even though it was expensive, it didn't live up to what I was hoping for. It's a shame to see a well-known brand like this selling products that can't even handle normal use. My overall experience with this purchase has been disappointing.
Cool RAF bag
So, last year I bought this really cool RAF bag and it's just awesome. Everyone always compliments me on it and I'm like yeah, got it from here, it's the best.
But then, sad story, one of the catches broke last week. I was like what the heck, I love this bag so much, I need to get it fixed. So I messaged them and this guy named Malcolm replied super quick. He said no problem, we'll send you a new one and you can send the old one back for free. It was like magic!

I recently bought a pair of cufflinks for my groomsmen from Simon Carter and I have to say, the service was absolutely fantastic. The online order arrived quickly and securely, and when I went to the store on Lambs Conduit Street, the staff were incredibly helpful. Even though they didn't have the cufflinks in stock, Jo contacted head office and managed to track down the exact pair I wanted, which was then sent to me promptly that same week. The level of care and commitment to customer satisfaction at Simon Carter is really impressive.

I recently bought 6 items from this company and I have to say, it's been a really disappointing experience. I returned two items over a month ago and still haven't received my refund. They're supposed to have a 30-day return policy but they've not been sticking to it, which is just frustrating and unsatisfactory. I've had to keep chasing Malcolm and Alex for updates on my refund, which has just added to my frustration. After this bad experience, I won't be shopping with them again and will have to go through my bank to get my money back. I wouldn't recommend shopping with this company based on what I've been through.
Leather skull bracelet and multi skulls bracelet
I bought two bracelets from Simon Carter, the leather skull bracelet and the multi skulls bracelet, and I have to say I'm really not happy with the quality. The leather skull bracelet fell apart after just 6 months of wearing it, and the replacement multi skulls bracelet, for which I had to pay extra, has changed colour and broken. I don't have particularly sweaty or acidic skin and I'm always careful with my jewellery, so it's obvious to me that these items are just poorly made. Even the shirts I got from them haven't held up well - they started showing wear and tear after just a few wears.
