Fabric delivery
As a regular customer, I was pretty gutted when I found out they'd gotten rid of the click and collect option at my local store. And to top it off, they've now upped the delivery charge to £15 for fabric orders, making their already pricey fabrics even more expensive. Other places give you the option to collect for free but not them. It's a shame, really. Less choice for us and more money out of our pockets. It seems daft to me - they're only going to end up losing customers in the long run.
Lampshades, cushions, throw, lamp base
I've just bought a few things from this shop like lampshades, cushions, a throw, and a lamp base. Even though they processed my order in three separate transactions, everything turned up quickly, well wrapped, and they kept me in the loop every step of the way. I was really happy with the quality of the stuff and how smooth the whole shopping experience was. Some of the posher items were a bit pricey which made me stop and think, but in the end, I decided to go for it and I'm really pleased I did.
Footstool, curtains, cushions - poor quality
I am absolutely gutted with the stuff I got from this shop. The footstool I got broke as soon as I unboxed it, and when I tried to complain to customer service, they were so unhelpful. The curtains I bought lost their colour super quick, and the cushions I got fell apart as soon as they arrived. It's pretty obvious that this company doesn’t care about quality or making their customers happy. I won't be shopping here again, that's for sure.
Apple blossom fabric, 10cm discrepancy
I purchased this Apple blossom fabric believing the width was 130cm, but it was actually 120cm. The curtain maker struggled to work with it. They agreed to exchange the cut fabric, but I had to buy an extra 2m to make up for the mistake. We were promised collection and delivery for the replacement, but we haven't received any updates. Quite disappointed with the service and product of this company, especially considering the amount of money I've spent with them.
Bed purchase, faulty quality
I recently got a bed from this company and I was really disappointed with it. When it arrived, I noticed bits with no stitching, tacking still in place, and some chipped spots on the bed. It was obviously a faulty product and for the price I paid, it just wasn't on. I got in touch with the company straight away to sort it out, but their customer service was just terrible. They didn't take any responsibility and didn't sort things out quickly. It's been nearly a month now and my mum is still waiting for them to come get the dodgy bed and give a refund. I'd recommend others to avoid this company. Sadly, all those negative reviews seem to be true and their prices don't match their rubbish customer service.
Furniture purchase
I bought some furniture from this store recently and I have to say, I was really impressed with the customer service and the quality of the items. The staff were really helpful and friendly, as well as being very professional. The furniture itself was top-notch, and I'm really happy with what I bought. I had the items delivered over three different occasions, and each time the delivery guys were really nice and got everything done quickly. They even took the heavy chest of drawers upstairs for me, which was a big help. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough, especially the staff who assisted me with my purchases.
Throw purchase
I popped into a showroom the other day and treated myself to a lovely throw. The folks working there were so friendly and really helped me choose the perfect throw and some matching cushions. Now that I'm back home, I love snuggling up with my new throw and I'm already thinking about going back to get more. I can't praise the staff enough for their top-notch service and the amazing quality of the throw.
Advent candles
I got these candles for advent - one for me and one for my daughter. But you know what? They both turned out to be really disappointing! We tried to be fancy and trim the wick every day, but they still ended up all weird on top. And when we blew them out, big bits of fire floated around! Not good at all! I thought we were getting some top-notch candles for the price, but no, big disappointment.
Curtains and soft furnishings
I recently bought some new curtains and matching soft furnishings from this company, and I have to say, I am really happy with my purchase once again. Rachel at the store was so helpful with both designs - one when she came to my house and the other through photos. Thanks to her advice, my home now looks amazing, with all the pieces fitting together perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out.
Stripey candles for wife's birthday
I recently bought some striped candles as part of my wife's birthday gift, but I was really disappointed with the customer service and quality of the product I got from this company. The candles arrived on time, but when I opened them, I found that 4 out of the 6 candles were actually broken. When I contacted customer service about this problem, I was met with a really bad attitude. They suggested I drive 100 miles to exchange the broken candles, which was totally unacceptable. When I refused to do that, they offered me a voucher that didn't cover the cost of replacing the damaged items. To top it off, one of the candles even exploded, making a mess in my house. Despite trying to get in touch with them several times, I still haven't heard anything back from the company. Overall, this whole experience has left me feeling really frustrated and unappreciated as a customer.
Home re-decorating
I've been popping into the shop in Tunbridge Wells quite often recently, and honestly, the staff there are really nice! They're always giving me great advice on how to spruce up my room with all the cushions and throws I've purchased from there. My favourite items are definitely the lampshades, they're just so beautiful. I've also treated myself to a rug and some fancy china. Overall, everything is just adorable and really enhances the look of my home! I'll definitely be heading back for more soon!
Fabric and furnishings
I popped into this shop a couple of times and absolutely loved it! The folks there were really friendly and helpful, and the shop itself was like a hidden gem packed with gorgeous fabrics and furniture. I ended up buying some fantastic cushions and got some assistance picking out all the extra bits and bobs for my curtains. Sarah was absolutely brilliant and so patient with me, even though I took ages making up my mind. I'm really looking forward to going back!
Two chesterfield sofas in grey red check wool
The two chesterfield sofas I bought are just gorgeous. They look so elegant and are really comfy to sit on. What I really like is that the front legs have wheels, which makes it so easy to move them around when I need to clean. The quality of the workmanship really shines through on these sofas, and I'm thrilled with my purchase. I've also got some china pieces from the same brand, and they're my favourites. The hand-painted designs on them are just perfect. I'll definitely be shopping with this brand again in the future, that's for sure.
Curtains, sofas, rug, tv unit, paint
The workshop at the Harrogate shop was so interesting and inspired me to completely transform my living space with the help of Rachel and Charlotte. They were amazing in showing me samples and helping me choose curtains, sofas, rugs, a TV unit, and paint. The final result in my garden room is even better than I imagined, and I am absolutely delighted with how it turned out. Even though there was a bit of a wait for delivery, it was definitely worth it in the end. The shop itself has a really great atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back for more items and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to freshen up their home.
Christmas decorations and gifts ordered
I bought some Christmas decorations and gifts but the customer service was really bad. I ordered on the 5th of December and was told I'd get it in 10 working days as everything was in stock. But when I checked on the 23rd, they said it would be sent by courier. It's now been ages and I still haven't got my order, so I'll have to ask for a refund. I'm really unhappy with this service and won't be buying from them again.
Custom tablecloth for garden table
This was the first time I ordered from this company and I have to say, I was really impressed by the fantastic customer service I got. From when I first asked about getting a custom rose pink wide stripe tablecloth for my garden table, to getting my order made and delivered in time for a family event, every bit of it was done really well and professionally. I liked that they kept me updated on how my order was going right up until it was delivered. The tablecloth turned out lovely and was even better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this company for their amazing customer service.
Ceramic mugs and plate
The mugs and plate I bought arrived quickly and safely, and I'm really happy with them. The straight mug is just right for me, and I absolutely love the special designs and how well they're made. It's nice to have something distinct from all the usual things you find in shops.
Feminine cushions, interior design advice
What a great find! I came across this lovely little shop while on a break in Salcombe and I'm really pleased with how it went. The lady who worked there was so friendly and we had a nice chat about home decor. I decided to treat myself to some really pretty cushions and a few other bits and bobs to liven up my place in South Kensington. The design advice she gave me for my two guest bedrooms was incredibly helpful and just what I was looking for. All in all, it was a really enjoyable experience and I'm looking forward to going back for more treats in the future.
Rug color misjudged
The after-sales service we received from this shop was absolutely amazing. When we realised that the rug we bought wasn't the right colour, we were a bit worried about returning it. But the staff at the store were so helpful; they took the rug back, sorted out the return for us, and made sure it was all easy for us. We were really impressed by how much they cared about making sure we were happy, and we're so grateful for everything they did. Their fantastic service has definitely made us want to come back to the shop again in the future.
Cushions
Avoid at all costs. Cushions poorly made with seams that fell apart. Then no accountability or customer support. I would not recommend under any circumstances.
