Bamboo clothing, size 10, August discount
I recently bought two Bamboo fabric items with a discount code in August, and I'm really pleased with them. I have sensitive skin and have to use Bamboo bedding to sleep comfortably, so finding clothes that work for me can be tricky. But these items were amazing - they felt cool, comfy, and were great for my skin. I usually wear a size 12, but after reading reviews, I went for a size 10 and they fit me just right. I'll definitely be coming back for more in the future.
Bralettes purchase
I recently purchased these awesome bralettes two weeks back and I absolutely love them! The material is super comfortable, it feels like it may be bamboo or something. They fit me just right (I went for a size M) and they're also quite stylish. Excited to see how long they hold up!
Cancellation and re-order
I placed an order at first but got worried when I saw some negative reviews online. I sent an email to cancel my order because I was concerned about their administration, but they got back to me quickly saying it was no problem to cancel. They reassured me that they were back to normal, processing refunds as usual. In the end, I cancelled my original order but still wanted one item, so I placed a new smaller order. I had to return the item because it didn't fit, but the return process was easy. Overall, even though I was worried about their past administration issues, my recent experience with them was good and I wanted to share that.
Unfulfilled refund process
I've just had a really frustrating time trying to get a refund from this company. I sent back some items that didn't fit, and even though the tracking said that they got them, I had to wait nearly a month without any word or my money back. I tried contacting them on social media and they said they were sorting out the refund, but it never actually happened. After lots of messages, I eventually got my money back, and they blamed it on a 'system glitch'. I do like the stuff I've got from this brand, but the whole refund situation was a bit of a let-down.
Dresses
I've bought clothes from other brands like Next and Tu before, and I've always been happy with the quality. But my experience with Thought Clothing was a letdown. I ordered three dresses, only to get an email saying they were out of stock and my order was cancelled. I tried again, but got another email saying the items were out of stock from the first order. When I tried to cancel the duplicate order, I didn't hear back from Thought Clothing. The dresses eventually arrived, but I had already found something else. I asked for a free return label since I tried to cancel within 12 hours, but still got no response. Overall, their customer service was really terrible.
Sustainability claims
I reckon this brand's so-called sustainability claims are a bit of a laugh. I thought I was doing my bit for the environment when I bought some things made from Tencel or Lyocell fabric, but they turned out to be a bit rubbish. After just a few wears and careful washes, the fabric started falling apart. Holes started popping up, the fabric went see-through, and everything just went all floppy. What's the point of sustainable fashion if the clothes can't even last a few uses?
Past loyal customer
I used to be a loyal customer of this brand, but after a recent experience, I will never be shopping here again. The customer service I received was absolutely appalling. I had a complaint about the cancellation of part of my order that was ignored for over a month. Despite reaching out multiple times, the responses I got were not helpful and there was no apology for their mistake. This lack of responsibility and disregard for customer satisfaction is not acceptable. I have never had such bad service from this brand before, and it's sad to see the decline in quality since the change of ownership. I would strongly suggest that others avoid shopping here if they don't want to risk wasting their money.
Bamboo Dashka yoga trousers
I've been a loyal customer of this brand for years now, and I've hardly ever had any issues with their products. But recently, I had to return some stuff and I was really impressed by how quickly and smoothly they gave me a refund. It was a bit disappointing to find out that there's now a fee for returns, but I get why they've done it. I really admire how committed Thought is to using sustainable fabrics, especially in their bamboo clothing range like the Dashka yoga trousers – I absolutely adore them. However, I'm not too keen on the idea of them using recycled nylon mixed with other materials in some of their products. It's so important for companies to stick to their values, even when things get tough like they did with their admin mix-up on my last order.
Dresses, 5 items
I recently bought 5 dresses from this brand, but unfortunately, I had to return 3 of them. Two of the dresses were faulty with loose threads and stitching issues that just weren't up to scratch for the price. One dress also didn't fit quite right, which was a bit of a letdown. The quality of the items just didn't match up to the high price tag, and I was pretty disappointed overall. I had high hopes for these dresses, but they didn't meet my expectations in terms of both quality and value for money. I don't think I'd recommend buying from this brand again, as there are other ethical and reliable brands out there that offer better quality for less.
Cool patterned socks
Hey there, I recently bought these awesome patterned socks from here, but I was disappointed to find out they only had them available in men's sizes. I really wanted the ones with space ships, bikes, and dinosaurs - why limit them to just guys, right? I even sent them a message voicing my concerns, but unfortunately, they never got back to me.
Poor quality garments
I ordered some stuff from this company recently and honestly, I was really let down by the quality of the clothes. They just felt cheap and the sizes were way off. And don't even get me started on their customer service - it was shockingly bad. I had problems with my order and it was like pulling teeth trying to get a reply from them. It's pretty obvious that they don't give a damn about their customers.
Eco-friendly clothing purchase
I bought some eco-friendly clothes from this brand the other day and I was really happy with how they were packaged in paper and made from natural fabrics. Returning them was easy too. But then, when I checked the label for washing instructions, I realised they were actually made in China. This worried me a bit because China doesn't have a great reputation for human rights and looking after the environment, which doesn't match up with the ethical image the brand is trying to promote.
Purchased multicoloured trousers
I've been shopping with this company for a while now, and I've always had such great experiences with my purchases. The clothes are amazing quality and the designs are really unique and stylish. If I ever need to return something, it's always a quick and easy process with fast refunds. My latest buy, those multicoloured trousers, was even better than I expected - they came quickly and look perfect in my wardrobe. I'm a size 10 and the loose fit was just what I wanted, so I think the brand really nailed it. I've consistently been impressed by Thought Clothing's products and service, so I'll definitely keep coming back as a loyal customer.
Socks for a wedding
Oh, hello there! I bought these socks for a wedding thinking they were top-notch, but boy was I wrong. After wearing them for a bit, disaster struck - a hole appeared and the letters started coming off. I got in touch with them, and they said they'd send over a new pair. But, here we are, almost November and still no sign of those replacement socks. Poor quality, poor service - I'll pass, thank you very much!
Dress in two sizes
I must admit, I was quite surprised by all the negative reviews I read here, but I can honestly say my own experience with this company was actually pretty good. I decided to buy a dress during their sale and ordered it in two different sizes. The whole process, from placing the order to getting it delivered, went really smoothly. The quality of the dress was even better than I expected, and I was happy to see that it was packaged in a sustainable way. When I needed to return one of the sizes, they quickly gave me a refund without any hassle. Their communication about my order and delivery was clear and on time. Overall, I'm pleased with my experience and will definitely think about shopping with them again.
Poor quality item
I recently bought something from this company and it turned out to be really bad quality. I was so disappointed, so I got in touch with their customer service to get a refund. At first, they said they would give me my money back as soon as I sent the item back. But after I returned it and waited for nearly two weeks, I didn't hear anything from them. I contacted them again, and on the 6th of November, they said they couldn't see my return on their system. I showed them the proof of postage, and they confirmed they got it on the 10th of November. Then, to my surprise, they told me they had gone into administration on the 1st of November and couldn't refund me. This was the first time I found out about their money problems, and I was really unhappy with how everything turned out.
Recent online purchase
I've just bought something online and I have to say, I wasn't too pleased with the whole experience. It was a bit tricky to figure out the right size and the quality of the products wasn't clear either. So now, I've got stuff that doesn't suit me and I'll have to send it back. The delivery was quick, but the disappointment of the items not being great has left me annoyed. It's not the first time it's happened either, had a similar issue with a different brand recently. On the whole, I'm not happy with my purchase and I'll have to go through the hassle of returning everything.
Lovely cotton clothing, unique map print shirts, complimentary bamboo socks
I recently bought a jumpsuit and two men's shirts from an online store. The jumpsuit was made of lovely cotton fabric and was really well made, with a cool Sicilian style print. The two men's shirts I got to wear as women's clothing were brilliant too, made of top-quality cotton fabric with a unique map print. They even threw in some bamboo socks with my orders, which was a nice surprise. The items were wrapped up beautifully and sent out quickly. I have to say, I was very impressed with the quality of the clothes and the service I received from the store. And I must mention, I was really grateful for the NHS discount code they gave me. Cheers!
Quality clothing, returned items issue
I recently bought some stuff from this company. The things I kept were great, good quality and a good fit. But, I had some real problems with the return process. I needed to send back some items that didn't fit, which was a total of £71.90. The parcel seemed to be lost for ages, and there was conflicting info from the company and Royal Mail tracking. After a month of going back and forth, they agreed to give me a refund, but they said it had to be in the form of an e-gift card due to their admin rules. I wasn't too happy about it, but I accepted it. When I tried to use the gift card, the items never arrived. After I complained, they said they'd give me a cash refund, but I'm still waiting for it. Instead, they've sent me another e-gift card and won't give me a phone number to call them directly. This whole situation has left me feeling frustrated and like they're taking advantage of me, especially since they still have my £71.90.
Jeans
I have been a customer for many years-since they were Braintree before re-branding to Thought. I have always been keen to support the sustainable ethos. So when they brought out reduced impact jeans 'Denimkind', I bought a pair. Unfortunately after wearing them no more than a few dozen times, I noticed that they have worn through in the crotch area. I notified Thought of this, but got a reply stating that as it was over the 6 month return period (8 months to be precise), they couldn't do anything except express their 'sincerest apologies'. Note to Thought... 1) Sustainable clothes should be long-lasting-jeans that wear out in months are inherently unsustainable 2) A Thoughtful business should be prepared to admit that something has gone wrong and that something positive should be done and not just rely on their T's ... C's.
