Fentanyl patches
I'm feeling really let down by Dears Pharmacy once again. I completely ran out of my fentanyl patches on Monday, and after trying to order them three times now, I don't have anything yet. It's just not on considering that I should have had them by last Tuesday. It's really annoying because both Dears and my Doctors surgery have messed up on this. When I went to the Oxgangs shop, I couldn't even find a pharmacist to have a chat with - which just shows how disorganised the company is. So now, I've had to result to getting tablets from a local dealer to see me through the night and tomorrow, which wouldn't have happened if Dears could be relied upon.
Online prescription ordering
I went to the pharmacy the other day to ask about ordering my prescriptions online using the app. Unfortunately, I was given the wrong information by a few different staff members who didn't know that the service was available. It was quite annoying to feel a bit silly in front of everyone else waiting. It's really important for the staff to have proper training so they know all about the pharmacy's services.
First line advice and service
I had to pop into Dears Pharmacy while I was at work in Tranent for some urgent issues. The pharmacist there gave me some really useful advice and treatment, which meant I didn't have to make a trip to the doctor. I was really impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were.
Blood test appointment
I popped into the pharmacy today for a blood test appointment and I must say, I was well impressed with the service I got at Dears. There was this lovely staff member, let's just say her name was Danielle, who really went above and beyond to help me out. She took the time to explain everything about the test in great detail, making sure I was completely at ease and understood what was going on. I really felt looked after and now I feel comfortable using Dears Pharmacy for my regular prescriptions. The staff there are so professional and friendly, they've definitely got themselves a new loyal customer in me.
Ear wax suction appointment
I popped into Dears Pharmacy the other day for my appointment to get my ear wax removed. Claudia, the pharmacist, really knew her stuff and she explained to me that suctioning wasn't needed. She showed me some photos she took and suggested some other treatments instead. The pharmacy was set up really nicely and the whole team there offered top-notch service which I really appreciated.
Medication purchase
I was really let down by the service I received at this pharmacy. The staff were rude, stuck-up, and not helpful at all. They didn't seem to care about helping me with my medication and couldn't even give me basic advice on how to take it. It was obvious that they hadn't been properly trained and didn't know how to treat customers well. All in all, my experience was really bad and I wouldn't suggest this pharmacy to anyone.
Ear examination and prescription for ear spray
I had a great experience at Dears Pharmacy! I went in this afternoon because my ear was really painful and inflamed and I needed a quick diagnosis. Dayne saw me and was really efficient and professional. He checked my ear quickly, diagnosed it as inflammation, and gave me an ear spray that instantly helped. The service was excellent, especially since GP practices are really busy right now. I definitely recommend Dears Pharmacy for anyone needing fast and high-quality service.
Repeat prescription filling
The pharmacy at Dears in Dunfermline has been a real lifesaver for me. The staff there are always professional, polite, and friendly, with a special mention to Molly who greets me with a warm smile every time I visit. They always sort out my repeat prescription in a well-organized and efficient way, and they communicate seamlessly with my doctor when necessary. Urostomy prescription
I went to Dears Pharmacy to pick up my urostomy prescription, but they wouldn't take any more deliveries from Fittleworth, who was meant to deliver it to my house. I'm away from home most of the week for work, and other pharmacies have always been happy to deliver wherever I am. Dears Pharmacy just couldn't be bothered. Looks like I'll need to speak to my GP about switching to a different pharmacy for my prescriptions now.
Prescription medication refill
The team at Dears Pharmacy were so helpful and really knew their stuff! They gave me great advice on my medication and answered all my questions, making sure I was making the best choices for my health. I really appreciate their expertise and how professional they were. Thank you so much!
Prescription medicine purchase
I had a really great experience at Dears Pharmacy on Easter Road in Edinburgh recently. Claudia and Rebecca were really wonderful and helped me a lot during a tough time. They were so professional and empathetic. They not only gave me the medicine I needed but also took the time to hear me out and offer support. It was so nice to find a pharmacy that genuinely cares about their customers.
Cold medicine and bandaids
The staff here are really kind and always help me out when I'm unwell. They even let me borrow some tissues when I sneezed all over the counter! Their smiling faces always brighten my day, even when I'm not feeling my best. Thanks for everything you do, pharmacy staff!
Prescription pick up
The people at Dears Pharmacy are really nice, but gosh, their systems are just terrible! It's like a mission every time we go in there to try and find our prescriptions from the surgery. We end up having to ask them to check in different places until they eventually manage to locate it. And then the wait for them to get our medication ready is just never-ending, it feels like. Half the time they forget to even give us a call! I mean, we've had situations where we've been waiting with a poorly child, only to have to chase them up ourselves. And let's not even mention the huge pile of bags they have stacked behind the counter that they have to rummage through every time!
Prescription medications
I had an awful time at that pharmacy. The workers there were so rude and unhelpful. It honestly felt like they didn't even want me to be there. It was really disappointing and frustrating. I definitely wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.
Microsuction appointment
I went to the appointment for earwax removal, thinking my ears needed cleaning. Turns out, there was no wax in there and I ended up getting a refund. Ashley was really professional, friendly, and great to chat with. I would definitely go back if I have any other problems. The receptionist was lovely too.
Nebuliser vials
My dad's pharmacy in East Kilbride had no more nebuliser vials for his COPD and asthma. He's 80 years old and has health problems, so it was really important. I went to Dears Pharmacy and told them how urgent it was. The staff were really helpful, caring, and friendly. They did everything they could to make sure we got the nebuliser vials my dad required. I'm so grateful for their amazing service and kindness. Thank you!
Prescription medication purchase
Some of the staff here are really great, they're so helpful and friendly. But then there are others who are a bit useless and don't really listen properly. It'd be great if everyone could pay more attention to detail and provide better customer service. Thank you.
Blood test kit
I popped into Dears Pharmacy to grab a blood test kit and you won't believe what happened - some things were missing from the pack! However, Charlie, who works there, is an absolute hero. He sorted everything out by calling the clinic, and I was able to do my test later in the day. How awesome is that?
Ear wax clean
I popped into Dears Pharmacy in Glamis recently to get my ears cleaned out. It was quite busy, but the staff at the counter were really organised and made sure everyone was seen to promptly. Anne Marie was especially great, she made sure my ear was properly cleaned and even booked me in for another appointment to clear out some stubborn blockage, all at no extra charge! Overall, I was really impressed with the service I received at Dears Pharmacy - very professional and thorough.
Extra medication for child
I desperately needed more medicine for my 4-year-old kid and Dears Pharmacy really saved the day. The staff there were so knowledgeable and quick in assisting me to get what I needed. They fully recognised the urgency of the situation and dealt with it so professionally and thoughtfully. Everything went so smoothly and without any trouble, and I walked out feeling so relieved and thankful for their top-notch service.
