    Fitness classes at the gym

    The fitness classes down at the gym were really great, I must say. Norman and Aitor were in charge and they brought such good vibes and know-how to the sessions. They introduced us to some new exercises for us to mix things up a bit. The chin ups with bands and trx pull ups were proper tough but well worth it, and that glute gains exercise with the band? Phew, that was a killer but boy did it work those muscles. Me mates and I had such a blast during the classes that we're definitely gonna make them a regular thing in our workout routine. The folks at Balham were so friendly and really kept us motivated, creating a fab environment for us to really challenge ourselves.

    Membership at this gym

    Hey everyone, I just wanted to share that I recently started going to this gym and honestly, it's great! The staff there are super friendly and always willing to help out, which definitely makes a big difference. However, there's a pretty major problem I need to address - the floor in the studio is in really bad shape and it's just waiting for an accident to happen! I actually injured my ankle because of how uneven and worn down the floor is. It's definitely something that needs to be sorted out before someone gets seriously hurt. I mean, come on, isn't Health & Safety supposed to be a priority here?

    I recently joined a gym membership and it has really changed the game for my fitness journey. The gym facilities are amazing - they have a fantastic pool that's never overcrowded, a nice jacuzzi, and a steam room that's perfect after a tough workout. The gym is well-equipped and always tidy, which creates a great atmosphere to exercise in. I had a personal training session with one of the trainers who was really skilled and knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. I definitely recommend trying out the personal training sessions at this gym, as they can really help improve your fitness journey.

    Personal Training with Tom Harris

    Tom Harris at the gym in Bedford is just fantastic. I've got fibromyalgia and I need new knees, and he's been absolutely great at tailoring my workouts to fit my requirements. He's not only assisted me in building muscle before my knee surgery, but he's also really compassionate about my condition and alters my routine based on how I'm doing. He's encouraged me to challenge myself, aiding me in shedding weight and getting toned. I'll definitely miss working out with him now that he's moved on.

    I'm so fed up with classes being cancelled last minute at this gym. Every time I book one, it's likely to be called off because there aren't enough people. How can I improve and stay motivated if I can't even go to the classes I've signed up for? It's just not on and it feels like both my time and money are being wasted.

    I've been going to the gym for about three months now, and I feel a bit let down by some of the info they gave me when I signed up. They said I could switch to a student deal later, but now they're saying I can't. It's made me feel a bit deceived and disappointed with how my membership's going so far.

    Great gym with fantastic staff

    The staff here really do make this place special - they're all fantastic, really friendly and welcoming, and just so positive all the time! The gym facilities are always kept clean, and I never struggle to use the machines, although it can get a bit trickier when it's busy. I haven't had a chance to try out the showers or classes yet, but I've been a few times now and honestly feel like it's a really safe and comfortable environment. I'm definitely pleased with my decision to join.

    I've just joined a new gym and I must say, I was really impressed by the customer service I got. The staff, Jonnie and Yannic, really knew their stuff and gave us a thorough tour of the place. They took the time to explain all the classes and workout options, making sure my husband and I had all the info we needed before getting started. I'd say they're experts at what they do and really excel in customer service.

    Lovely staff, nice gym, some maintenance issues

    The people who work at the gym are really friendly and helpful, which makes the whole gym experience much more enjoyable. The gym itself is decent, but it could definitely use a bit of touching up. Some lockers are a bit dodgy and there are a few problems in the ladies shower area that need fixing ASAP. Plus, they need to have more disinfectant wipes available so that people can easily clean the equipment after using it.

    The website is really easy to use, and the gym is big and tidy, never too busy. But what really stood out for me was the staff. The trainers are super professional and really chatty and nice. They make you feel so welcome, like you've been going there forever.

    Membership experience highlights

    My experience at the gym has been a nightmare. When I first joined, all I really wanted to do was enjoy a relaxing swim in the pool. But would you believe it, the pool was closed one day and even the shower by the poolside wasn't working. To top it off, the regular showers were out of order too, and the whole place smelt like a bin! I told the staff about it, but they didn't seem bothered at all. The ladder into the pool was also broken and no one bothered to fix it. All in all, the showers and pool area were a complete mess, not worth the money at all.

    The folks at my gym are really nice and always eager to help. They clearly take pride in their work and their members, which is evident in how professional and supportive they are. Lorna, especially, is fantastic and consistently goes the extra mile to assist.

    I've recently started hitting the gym and I've got Cristina as my trainer. She's really cool and makes exercising enjoyable. It's tough but not too tough that I feel like giving up. I always can't wait to go back for our sessions.

    The gym I visited in Clapham was an absolute nightmare. It was absolutely packed with people because they had attempted to cram two gyms into one. I mean, who even thought that was a sensible idea? It was impossible to find a free machine to use for a workout, so frustrating.

    Oh, it's so annoying! I've been going to this gym for ages now, but out of the blue they just went and doubled the price of my membership! And when I went to talk to them about it, the staff were so unfriendly and just brushed me off, saying I should send an email. And on top of that, the place is always falling apart - there's never any hot water, the toilets are always blocked, and there aren't even enough lockers! It's a complete shambles!

    Mate, this gym is constantly rammed, filthy, and things are always out of order. I've been trying to change gyms for about a month now since I moved, but the customer service is practically non-existent. They didn't even get back to me, wouldn't pause my membership when I requested, so basically I've paid for two months at the old gym. It's an absolute nightmare, wish I hadn't signed up for a year here.

The London Bridge branch is a nightmare - no hot water, equipment always broken, and the staff keep lying about making improvements. Honestly, their service is just shocking.

    Membership cancellation

    I had a bit of a nightmare trying to cancel my gym membership the other day. I went through the process online, filled in all the forms, and assumed it was done and dusted. But, lo and behold, I still got charged the next week. It took me ages to get hold of someone in customer service, and even when I finally did, they just ignored my pleas for a refund. Apparently, there was a mistake in the email address I used, and even though they admitted it was their fault, they wouldn't give me back my money. I reckon their whole cancellation system is shoddy and just plain unfair.
