DNA matching subscription
I was really disappointed with a recent change in the DNA matching feature that the service offered. So, I decided not to renew my subscription and got in touch with customer service to share my concerns. Cesar, who helped me out, was truly amazing. He not only took the time to understand my issue and how it affected my experience, but also suggested alternative tools that might work for me. His response was personalized and detailed, showing his expertise and a real commitment to making sure I was happy. As a bonus, Cesar even gave me a free month's trial to try out the other tools he recommended. I have to say, I was really impressed with the top-notch customer service from Cesar and I appreciate his hard work and support.
DNA analysis map results
I was really pleased with the service I got from the company. It was great being able to keep an eye on how my DNA sample was coming along during the analysis. The results they gave me were presented in a way that was easy to understand and looked good too, with a map that was a bit like a Venn diagram showing overlapping areas. It was really interesting to see how these areas matched up with where lots of people in my family history originally came from. The data was accurate and they went into so much detail - even more than I was expecting, which made me feel like I could trust the information they gave me.
Family tree recovery assistance
I was in a bit of a pickle when I realised I couldn't get into the email account connected to my family tree account, which I hadn't used for ten years. My mum had been keeping our family history up to date on there, so it was pretty annoying. Luckily, the customer service team at the company were really helpful and understanding. They walked me through the steps to recover my family tree and ensured I could see all the important info my mum had collected. I'm really grateful for their kind help and patience during this stressful situation.
DNA ancestry kit
The DNA ancestry kit was really impressive. I was so intrigued to find out about all these faraway relatives through the results. But I do wish that the ethnicity estimate given could have been a bit more specific. Like, getting a result of 20.9% Balkan doesn't really tell me exactly where my ancestors might have originated from, given the mix of nations in that area. However, in general, I thought the kit was a worthwhile purchase for delving into my family's past.
Genealogy website
I found the genealogy website I used really easy to navigate and interesting. It's helped me uncover loads more family members and some surprising links I had no idea about. By matching DNA, I came across some connections to Cornwall and possibly even some relatives in America through my half sister. It's definitely improved my knowledge of my family history.
DNA testing kit
I bought a DNA testing kit from this company recently and I am really disappointed with the service. They didn't listen when I asked them not to charge my credit card for auto-renewal while I was changing cards. The customer service person who replied to my email didn't even read my request properly. I had to send two more emails just to get some clarification on the issue. I am very disappointed and frustrated with how they ignored my requests.
Genealogy account renewal
I've had a few problems with the customer service from this company before, but this time was different. Ben, the guy I spoke to, was really friendly and helped me renew my account. Hopefully, all the issues from before have been sorted out now. If I have any more trouble in the future (hopefully not), I'll definitely contact Ben for help. In general, I'm feeling cautiously positive about the service this time.
Family tree research
During my chat with Daniel, he was really persistent and kept asking for more details. Even though he was a bit pushy, I actually found MyHeritage quite easy to use and helpful for tracing my family history. I like that there are plenty of resources and tools to help with my research. I plan on sticking with the platform and hopefully passing down my findings to my future relatives so they can carry on the search.
Family history website
I really enjoyed using the website to research my family history! It was really interesting to discover more about where my family comes from. However, I was charged for some things that I had already cancelled, which really annoyed me. But then Dean stepped in and helped me get my money back! He's a true hero! 🌟
DNA match discovery
I didn't know anything about my dad's family history because he was an orphan. But thanks to the DNA matches I found on this platform, I'm finding out about relatives I never even knew I had. It's been such an amazing experience, honestly the best thing I've ever done.

My memory was full so I couldn't add anything else. I got in touch with customer service and they were really quick to respond. They doubled my storage within a day and didn't even charge me for it. The service has always been really great.
Free trial scam
I got caught out by their sneaky free trial trick and got charged twice even though I had cancelled. It's awful how they work, tricking people with lies just to get as much money as they can. This sort of dodgy business should never be allowed, especially when they're dealing with important stuff like personal details and family history. I recommend being really careful if you have anything to do with this company because they're just a bunch of crooks pretending to be legit.
DNA test kit purchase
I bought a DNA test kit from this company and found it really easy to order and pay for. But then, I had a problem where I sent back two samples for testing and got confirmation for one but not the other. I tried to get in touch with customer service through email and the virtual assistant, but I didn’t get any response about the missing sample. It was really annoying and frustrating not being able to talk to someone directly on the phone.
Got a quick response after contacting customer service
The virtual assistants are great and everything, but it did take a while to finally speak to a human being. They were really helpful though, and I was grateful for the prompt response.
Lost DNA kits, Quick resolution
I recently had an issue with my DNA kits getting lost in the mail. When I reached out to them online, they responded very quickly (within a day!). The people there were extremely helpful and efficient in resolving the problem. I received new kits promptly. It was a huge relief!
Membership discussion
I was really looking forward to joining this site to delve deeper into my family history. However, when I attempted to inquire about membership options, there wasn't anyone available for a chat, just automated responses. It gave me the impression that they're not being transparent. I find it hard to place my trust in a company that doesn't engage with its potential customers. It seems like they're solely focused on extracting money rather than providing assistance. It appears to me that the CEO is solely motivated by financial gain and lacks genuine interest in aiding people to uncover their ancestry. My advice would be to avoid spending your money here!
Super nice customer service
They were incredibly helpful and really quick when I needed assistance with my order. I didn't have to wait at all, and they sorted out my issue in just one email. I'm really pleased I went with this place!
DNA genealogy test
The DNA genealogy test turned out to be a bit disappointing, to be honest. I was really hoping for more accurate results, you know, like a specific breakdown of where I come from and who my ancestors were, going way back before 1900. I was especially keen to get detailed info on both sides of my family - Mum's and Dad's - but unfortunately, the test only gave me a snapshot of where my ancestors moved to after 1900, rather than their original roots.
