    Post Office Broadband ADSL

    I bought the cheapest ADSL basic package which was a mistake on reflection.
    The main problem is the ancient cheap and nasty WiFi router. It uses the 802.11 b/g/n protocol which was superceded by 802.11 ac in December 2013 nearly seven years ago. It is also not dual-band and utilises only the 2.4 GHz band.
    As a result my Canon WiFi printer could not be found on the network, my Chromecast plugged into the TV was very erratic and unreliable and WiFi coverage in the upstairs rooms was very patchy.
    My many complaints to the ISP were either ignored or responded to by standard unhelpful emails. Eventually after writing a very strongly-worded email to them, I got a telephone response and a BT Openreach technician was despatched to check the line. He found nothing of any consequence.
    Ultimately the Post Office agreed to compensate me £30 and agreed to waive the early cancellation fee.
    Once I had switched to another ISP all of these problems magically dissappeared.

    Passport returns service

    I recently had the pleasure of using the passport returns service at the Broadband office, where a very helpful staff member assisted me. The service I received was exceptional. The staff member, let's call her Hazel for privacy reasons, really went above and beyond to make sure my passports were returned safely. Hazel not only explained the risks of sending back passports that were still valid, but also offered a more secure option. She took the initiative to put both passports in one secure envelope, addressed it correctly, and made sure I was happy with everything. Hazel's professionalism and focus on customer service were truly outstanding. While I have received great service at this office before, this time I felt compelled to provide feedback. Thank you, Hazel!

    I planned to get life insurance. The post office did the really good job. i really liked that they really understand the meaning of life insurance and how much it is important for a personal life. i really amazed that they are offering so much option in life insurance that made my life so much easier.their conditions and rules are really good, i am sure that i never had so many good options and experience here.

    Just bought some broadband

    So yeah, I got this broadband, yeah? And it was like, alright I suppose. But then I heard about this woman Paula Vennels and I was thinking, what's going on here?! She should definitely be in prison for what she did. How can she just get away with it all? It's not right! Anyway, the broadband was alright, nothing amazing.

    I had a really bad experience with the staff at the post office. The customer service was just terrible. The person working there was so rude and kept trying to make me buy unnecessary stuff. When I just asked for something simple, they were so disrespectful. And to top it off, they charged me too much for an envelope that didn't need it. I would definitely avoid this post office in the future.

    Broadband service purchase

    I'm absolutely gutted with my broadband provider. I've made two complaints, one back in March 2024 and another just over a month ago, and still haven't heard a peep from them, even though they promised to get back to me within 10 working days. It's honestly a bit of a joke of a service. The fact that they're ignoring me and not taking my complaints seriously is just not on. I thought I could trust this company, but they've really disappointed me.

    The Post Office Broadband is always short-staffed which causes really long queues and the service is just not up to scratch. There's never enough staff around, so you end up waiting ages and being told to wait just a few more minutes. It seems like the problem lies with the management, as the employees are working way too hard and there aren't enough of them to deal with all the work. This makes customers feel like they're being ripped off for the company's benefit. I'd suggest giving this place a miss and looking for somewhere else to get your broadband sorted.

    The broadband service installation procedure was a real let down. They told me the technician would come between 10.09 and 1.09, but they didn't turn up at all, so I ended up waiting around the whole day. It was a total waste of time and I felt really annoyed at the poor communication and lateness. Things like this make me wonder why people still go for this service when they have no other choice. Disrespecting customers' time is not on and it's left a bad impression on me. The company really needs to think about how they treat their customers better.

    I opened a savings account with this company not too long ago, and it was a total nightmare. The website was so tricky to use, it just left me feeling annoyed and lost. When I reached out to customer service for some help, they were no help at all - completely clueless! All they did was make excuses and make things even more confusing.     30cm x 30cm glass picture

    I bought a glass picture online, measuring 30cm x 30cm. When it was delivered, it was wrapped up really well with bubble wrap and strong cardboard, and there was even 'Fragile' tape on it to show it was delicate. It was sent via 1st Class Tracked Guaranteed next day delivery, so I expected it to arrive safely and quickly. Unfortunately, even though I took care to wrap it up, the picture turned up two days late and completely smashed. This picture was meant to be a special gift for my Dad's 90th birthday, so I felt really annoyed and let down.

    The Post Office told me my parcel was delivered on time, but it actually turned up a day late. Can't rely on them!
