    I recently bought some cases for my instruments from this music store and I must say, I was really impressed with the amazing service and knowledge the staff provided.     Spessart Geraniums

    Despite some initial concerns due to a few reviews, I went ahead and ordered some Spessart geraniums from this garden centre because they were the only place that stocked them.     Nephew's birthday gift

    Money transfer experience to Zimbabwe

    I had a really frustrating time with a money transfer to Zimbabwe not long ago. I sent the money on the 24th of May using the service, and on the 25th of May, the app said the money had been picked up. However, when I checked with the person I sent it to, they said they hadn't got it. I got in touch with World Remit UK quite a few times, got a case number, but got no help. Even though I tried to sort it out, World Remit just kept saying the money had been collected, when it hadn't. In the end, the person only got the money on the 7th of June after lots of calls to the local provider in Zimbabwe. This whole thing has made me feel really unsure and not keen on using this service again.

    My experience with this tour company was really annoying. I booked a tour, got confirmation, then they cancelled without any reason. To top it off, they said no to a refund at first and only agreed when I complained officially. It took ages and many reminders to get my money back. Their booking rules are not fair and don't follow the usual standards. How can they cancel bookings whenever they feel like it, even after we've paid in full? Not replying to my complaint just made me even more annoyed and let down.

    The aircraft was pretty good overall, much more comfortable on the Airbus than the Boeing. The entertainment selection was decent, but there wasn't much legroom on the Boeing whenever the person in front leaned back. We had a pretty annoying 2-hour delay on one of our flights, which was quite frustrating.

    Hotel booking with misleading listing

    Recently, I had a bit of a nightmare trying to book a hotel through one of those fancy travel websites. I was after a spot in Madrid, and had my eye on the Niza Hotel. It was supposed to be just 3 miles from the city centre, which sounded perfect to me. But when I clicked on the 'View Deal' button, I got sent to a totally different Niza Hotel in Gandia, which is nowhere near Madrid – it's actually by the coast, hundreds of kilometers away. What a waste of time! It left me proper confused and in a pickle.

    I had a right nightmare situation where I lost my email receipt and booking number due to hacking.     Chalet in Val d’Isère

    We rented a chalet in Val d'Isère, but it turned out to be an apartment within a chalet. The rooms were small, but the common areas like the living room and dining room were spacious. The location was great, but the hosts were a bit unprofessional. Instead of helping us, they spent more time gossiping about guests and sharing party stories. The "resort manager" was no better, as she also engaged in unprofessional behaviour rather than ensuring her team was doing their jobs properly.

    Our room had a bathtub with no room to stand and take a shower. We thought we booked through Iglu Ski, but it turned out to be Skiworld without our knowledge. The resort manager blamed us for not checking in advance, even though it wasn't our mistake. The kitchen was old and dirty, with outdated pots and kitchenware. The meals were delicious, but it felt strange to eat English food in France, especially pasta and chicken pie.

    They had promised to clean the rooms on Wednesday, but all they did was make the beds and didn't even change the towels. Thankfully, the airport transfers were the only thing that went smoothly.

    I've bought a few things from this company like arm covers, tops, and a lightweight coverall. For the most part, the quality has been good, except for the arm covers which keep slipping down. I really need clothing to protect against skin cancer because I'm on medication that increases my risk. It's a shame that they don't offer sizes for people larger than 14-16 (XL). When I asked about it, they said they wouldn't make bigger sizes. I got an email about a new lightweight coverall, but it was only in small sizes again. I think everyone, no matter their size, should be able to get sun protection clothing.

    Starry Night Puzzle

    The Starry Night puzzle design really caught my eye, it's absolutely stunning. But when I got the puzzle, I saw that there were white specks on the edges of almost every piece where the colours had chipped. And to top it off, the puzzles were all dusty, probably from the material they were made from.     I've been using this survey site for a while now and I have to say, it's one of the better ones out there. I get a fair amount of survey invites every day, around 10-12, which is pretty good compared to other sites I've tried. The qualification rate is about 35-40%, which is decent enough for me to make some extra cash. The surveys vary in length, usually between 10-20 minutes, but sometimes you might be lucky and find shorter or longer ones. The annoying part is that you only find out the length after you've answered the qualification questions. The pay per survey ranges from £0.1 to £0.7, depending on the length, so you might end up with less than you expected if you're not careful with the "up to" amounts.

    After watching/listening to the first two Excel sessions my impressions are very good. The tutor explains things in a clear manner, and the facility for rescheduling and repeating viewings has already been very useful for me.
