Monthly contract with 40gb data
I'm really happy with the monthly plan I got from Smarty. Having a monthly contract gives me the freedom I want without being stuck in a long-term agreement. Even though I don't use up all 40gb of data every month, it's good to have that extra data there just in case. The signal from Smarty is really reliable and I haven't had any problems with connection. Plus, the price of the plan is really fair for the amount of data I get, so it's great value for money.
Subscription cancellation process
As someone who used this service for about three months, I think it's really important to be able to cancel payments easily. I had a bad time with another provider before, as I had a hard time figuring out how to cancel my subscription. I ended up changing my virtual credit card number instead, which was a bit of a hassle. But with this service, I was happy to see that they explain the cancellation process clearly and that made me feel better about not getting any surprise charges in the future. The fact that cancelling my subscription was so transparent and easy has made me happy with the whole experience so far.
Wifi connectivity at Stanley Grove in Croydon
The wifi in Stanley Grove in Croydon was a bit dodgy in some spots, especially downstairs. I had to keep going up and down to get a decent connection. But when it was working well, the services were top-notch and dependable.
Easy number transfer and fast speed
I've just changed to this service and it was dead easy to keep my old number. It all went really smoothly, no bother at all, so it was a stress-free job for me. On top of that, the speed of the service is brilliant, giving me a seamless connection for all my communication stuff. I'm well impressed with how good value for money this service is, so it's definitely worth it for anyone after a reliable and efficient service.
Cellphone plan purchase
Signing up with Smarty was really easy and simple. I've been really happy with how strong the signal is and how good the coverage is, it's worked well for me 99% of the time. They offer a great range of data options, which I think is brilliant, and the prices are very competitive. All in all, I reckon Smarty is great value for what you get.
Slow transfer
I bought a new phone and transferred my number over two weeks ago. It's been a right pain because the transfer still hasn't gone through properly! I can't get any calls or messages, and I can't even get my PAC code to switch networks. The so-called "help" team just keeps giving me the runaround, and it's making me really annoyed!
Quick and easy purchase, smooth number transfer, great pricing
Using this service was so easy! I managed to buy what I needed really quickly, moved my number across without any problems, and got everything set up with no hassle at all. And the prices were great too, which made it an easy choice. I'm really pleased with how everything went!
Security-focused phone service
I like how simple and secure this phone service is. I'm not a heavy user, so I only need the basics. It's easy to use and I feel reassured knowing my information is safe. The customer service team are always there to help whenever I have any questions. Overall, I've had a good experience using this phone service and I'm happy with it.
Switched provider, £15 a month
I recently changed to a new mobile phone provider when my contract finished, going for a £15 monthly plan. At first, I wasn't sure how good the service and signal would be, but I was really pleased with how well everything worked. The signal is really good, especially with 5G, and the app for customers is easy to use and works well. I'm happy with the service and I'm saving quite a bit of money compared to my old provider. I would definitely suggest this company to anyone wanting a reliable and reasonably priced mobile phone provider.
Inexpensive and reliable service
I've been using this service for a while now, and I must say, I'm really happy with it. The monthly fee is reasonable, but the quality of the service is really good. I haven't come across any hidden charges or surprise costs, which is a big bonus for me. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone who wants something reliable and affordable.
Sim card
I've had this new sim card for a few weeks now and everything's been fine - no drama. The only issue is the signal indoors, it keeps playing up. It's all good though, happens everywhere, right?
Network coverage and text messaging issues
The network coverage from this service is just terrible. I've had so many issues with getting coverage in places like Bristol, Leeds, and Nottingham. When I got in touch with customer service about it, they told me it was because the network was busier than usual, but I didn't find that explanation convincing at all - it was so frustrating. On top of that, I had a real hassle trying to reply to a fraud text message, because SMARTY doesn't let you text premium numbers. Because of this rule, my credit card got frozen, which shows a big problem with how the service works. Overall, my time with this network has been really disappointing, and now I don't want to keep using their services at all.
Roaming package
I bought a roaming package from this company not long ago and I have to say, I was really impressed with how everything went. The website was really easy to use and I had no trouble finding my way around to choose the best package for what I needed. The pricing was great too, especially for the roaming package I ended up getting.
Phone contract referral issue
I'm really let down by the "Refer a Friend" scheme at this company. I've referred two people to sign up, and both times, Smarty has said they didn't use my link, even though they did. I even showed videos to prove it, but I was told I'm using the wrong browser, Safari. It's annoying to see ads for the program on their reviews page while dealing with this.

However, I have to admit, the price for the phone contract is actually pretty good.
Excellent coverage and simple setup with free extra data
I was really pleased with the coverage I got from my recent purchase. The setup for my device was so easy, and the extra data they gave me for free has stopped me worrying about running out at the end of the month. The connection is solid and reliable, meaning I can stay connected wherever I am. I'm happy with how well the service performs and how reliable it is.
SIM upgrade for extra data
I just upgraded my SIM card to get more data without paying more, and I have to say it was the best deal I could find. The customer service at Smarty has been really great – all my questions were quickly answered by friendly staff. I was also happy to find out that I can refer friends to Smarty and get a £10 voucher for each successful referral, with no limit on how many people I can refer. This extra perk makes Smarty even more attractive in terms of value for money.
Fast delivery of my order
To be honest, I didn't have high expectations when I placed my order, but I was really pleased with how quickly it arrived and the great service. The pricing was reasonable and ordering was easy. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience.
SIM card for my phone
I picked up a SIM card from this place, but I wish I had known they use the Three network because the coverage is pretty rubbish in London and a few other spots. Also, it's a pain that you can't stream for more than ten minutes at a time. I reckon that's why their data prices are so low.
Affordable plan with occasional network issues
The plan I've got is pretty cheap and does the job when it comes to buffering, but I constantly have to search for the network when I'm on the move. It's annoying when the signal doesn't connect, especially when I'm out and about.
Mobile phone contract for use in Italy and Switzerland
My experience with this company was absolutely awful. I bought a mobile phone contract specifically for using in Italy and Switzerland. However, when I got to Italy, the SIM card didn't work at all, leaving me unable to contact anyone in case of an emergency. So, I had to buy a Vodafone SIM card just to let my family know I was safe. Then, in Switzerland, I had to get an extra add-on package to be able to use the phone for emergencies. But the company's app sent me to buy the wrong add-on, causing a really stressful and risky situation during my therapy session. The customer service was useless, they only offered a refund for the add-on package, not for the cost of the Vodafone SIM card I had to buy to feel secure. The company's communication was really dismissive and unapologetic, refusing to admit their mistakes.

Key points to consider when choosing a telecom provider
There are currently so many companies offering telecom services and so many marketing techniques to catch hold of new customers, which makes it harder to see through the many offers and decide which provider to choose. The most relevant thing to keep in mind is that the provider should be a company that aligns best with your needs. Here are three basic qualities to look for when choosing a service provider:
Network reliability - check that the network is a fully converged one with a consolidated infrastructure that includes IP, Ethernet and optical technologies. Network convergence includes the coexistence of video, voice and data communication. Also, security and stability is a main concern, so always check that the network has all the needed protection to prevent service attacks, that it has the ability to restore their services fast with minimum or no impact to your activity and that the systems are constantly updated to offer the latest technology so it avoids performance issues and won’t stall the growth of your business.
Offers and support - check what products and services are provided by the company that best suit your needs. Telecom providers should offer a good amount of customization and options for their products and services that adapt to your specific needs. Some of us need more data, some need more voice, some need faster internet, etc. Make sure you are choosing the best option depending on your activity and that these options also don’t come with unnecessary burdens of services and expenses that you aren’t interested in.
Customer support - make sure they have quality customer support. There are so many occasions in which a client doesn’t get offered the best products or the assistance they need just because the company doesn’t consider the importance of keeping their clients happy and helping them when in need. Customer support should be effective, treat you with respect and have communication skills. This is essential to make sure your experience with your provider turns out to be a positive one.
Considering these main points should help you decide the right telecom provider for your home or business. Another great way to help you decide your network provider is to read customer reviews about these companies. Here are some telecom services that you may want to look into:

Really good network
Very transparant network. Got the data I didn't use back every month, pretty nice as this does not happen at most other networks Read onBy: Paul S.
