    Network coverage and text messaging issues

    The network coverage from this service is just terrible. I've had so many issues with getting coverage in places like Bristol, Leeds, and Nottingham. When I got in touch with customer service about it, they told me it was because the network was busier than usual, but I didn't find that explanation convincing at all - it was so frustrating. On top of that, I had a real hassle trying to reply to a fraud text message, because SMARTY doesn't let you text premium numbers. Because of this rule, my credit card got frozen, which shows a big problem with how the service works. Overall, my time with this network has been really disappointing, and now I don't want to keep using their services at all.

    Phone contract referral issue

    I'm really let down by the "Refer a Friend" scheme at this company. I've referred two people to sign up, and both times, Smarty has said they didn't use my link, even though they did. I even showed videos to prove it, but I was told I'm using the wrong browser, Safari. It's annoying to see ads for the program on their reviews page while dealing with this.<br><br>However, I have to admit, the price for the phone contract is actually pretty good.

    SIM upgrade for extra data

    I just upgraded my SIM card to get more data without paying more, and I have to say it was the best deal I could find. The customer service at Smarty has been really great – all my questions were quickly answered by friendly staff. I was also happy to find out that I can refer friends to Smarty and get a £10 voucher for each successful referral, with no limit on how many people I can refer. This extra perk makes Smarty even more attractive in terms of value for money.

    SIM card for my phone

    I picked up a SIM card from this place, but I wish I had known they use the Three network because the coverage is pretty rubbish in London and a few other spots. Also, it's a pain that you can't stream for more than ten minutes at a time. I reckon that's why their data prices are so low.

    The plan I've got is pretty cheap and does the job when it comes to buffering, but I constantly have to search for the network when I'm on the move. It's annoying when the signal doesn't connect, especially when I'm out and about.

    Mobile phone contract for use in Italy and Switzerland

    My experience with this company was absolutely awful. I bought a mobile phone contract specifically for using in Italy and Switzerland. However, when I got to Italy, the SIM card didn't work at all, leaving me unable to contact anyone in case of an emergency. So, I had to buy a Vodafone SIM card just to let my family know I was safe. Then, in Switzerland, I had to get an extra add-on package to be able to use the phone for emergencies. But the company's app sent me to buy the wrong add-on, causing a really stressful and risky situation during my therapy session. The customer service was useless, they only offered a refund for the add-on package, not for the cost of the Vodafone SIM card I had to buy to feel secure. The company's communication was really dismissive and unapologetic, refusing to admit their mistakes.

    My new SIM card

    I recently got a new SIM card and setting it up and transferring everything was a breeze. However, I soon realised that the signal in my area is absolutely awful, I mean it's truly terrible. Making a call without connecting to WiFi first is pretty much impossible. It's frustrating because what's the point of having a phone if you can't actually use it, hey? If you're in a location with poor coverage, I would suggest exploring alternative options.

    I recently signed up for a SIM only contract and it's actually quite good. It's a great deal, especially since I changed from a different network. The only issue is that the network coverage isn't fantastic where I live, but thankfully I can use VoWiFi. When I went to the US, it was a bit tricky and costly to use my phone there. I haven't been to Europe recently, so I haven't had the chance to take advantage of the free roaming there. But all in all, I appreciate the fixed costs of my contract.

    I wasn't sure at first, but I ended up buying the travel SIM card add-on for when I was going out of the EU. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the coverage was just as good as my regular provider. It worked flawlessly during my trip, and the leftover balance was taken out of my monthly bill without any problems.

    Speedy and reliable internet service

    I have been using this internet service from Smarty for a while and I have to say, it's been pretty smooth sailing since I started.     Customer service experience

    My experience with the customer service at Smarty was so disappointing. I tried to get some help through their web chat, but it was just useless and really frustrating. I had to wait for ages to get a response, and when I did, it wasn't helpful at all. They didn't fix the problem I was having, so I ended up feeling really annoyed and unhappy. To be honest, the customer service at Smarty was just terrible.

    My new cute phone case

    I recently got this really cute phone case from here and I was really looking forward to using it! However, when I tried to put it on my phone, I had some trouble and needed some help. The technical team I reached out to was completely unhelpful and didn't even make an effort to assist me. I ended up spending so much time trying to figure it out by myself. I was really disappointed by the whole experience!

    Sent me a sim that has caused problems. Sim was a different number from my number for example if my no is 079411xxxxx the number on the sim is 07828 xxxxxx. Has caused me problems with WhatsApp banking etc. Smarty hasn't done much to resolve this issue. You can't speak to anyone. Only chat. No escalation or customer service no. All they talk about us problems with my phone. But I tried it on 3 different phone including iPhone. All come with the same problem as my phone. You keep having to confirm security details despite talking to the same person. Coverage is poor. Well it is 3 network. I left EE it was to expensive. Think twice before joining smarty.
