    Camping holiday at Interlaken

    My family and I have been going to the same campsite in Interlaken for 6 years now. We always book a 3 bed mobile with air conditioning through Canvas. The mobile is always clean and well-equipped, and the Canvas reps on site are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with a beautiful lake nearby for swimming and plenty of activities to enjoy in the area. Cycling around the stunning scenery is a highlight, and having an eBike helps me keep up with my husband on the challenging mountain trails. We recently took our granddaughter with us, and she had a blast exploring everything the area has to offer. Overall, it's a fantastic place for active families of all ages to enjoy a camping holiday.

    Booking a holiday

    I recently arranged a holiday through this company and I have to say, I was really impressed with the service I received. From the beginning to the end, the whole experience was seamless and enjoyable. The team members, especially Laurna, Lauryn, and Ross, were so helpful and knowledgeable. Laurna, in particular, went out of her way to make sure my booking was easy and stress-free. It's not often you find such dedicated and friendly customer service these days, and I really appreciate the effort they put in to make my experience a good one. I can see why others highly recommend this company, and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

    Family holiday Camping La Sirene

    I recently went on a brilliant family holiday to Camping La Sirene in Argelès sur Mer. The caravan we had from Canvas Holidays was basic but had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The outdoor area was a nice touch, giving us a private shady spot to relax and have barbecues in the evenings. What really made the holiday special was the amazing facilities at Camping La Sirene - the pools and parks were fantastic, keeping everyone entertained. It was great to have everything included in the package, so we didn't have to worry about spending too much on day trips. The kids were happy just staying on the campsite.

    Booking process and customer service

    I found booking with this company really easy and convenient. I liked that I could reserve my holiday with just a £99 deposit, it made it simpler to secure my booking without having to pay everything upfront. Also, I was really impressed with the customer service they gave me. They were really accommodating and understanding when I had to change my holiday dates twice because of Covid-19 restrictions. Their flexibility meant I didn't lose any money due to the changes, which was a big relief. Overall, I felt the company was really friendly and helpful all the way through my booking process.

    Holiday in Sequoia Parc

    My family and I recently had a great time staying at a campsite near Sequoia Park. The people we spoke to, James and Deirdre, were fantastic. They were really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a good time. The fancy safari tent we stayed in was amazing, it had all the things we needed for a nice holiday. Booking with Canvas Holidays was easy, they kept us informed and provided a professional service all the way. We were really impressed with the high quality of the Sequoia Park site, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and fun camping trip.

    Misleading information on website

    The description on the website was all wrong. They said there was a restaurant and a shop on site, but there wasn't. We needed those things, so it was a real pain. We ended up having to go to other campsites and shops for food, and the takeaway options on site weren't even that good. The place was fairly clean, but the pictures online were old and didn't match up. They also showed a map with a restaurant and arcade room, which turned out to be made up - they weren't there at all. The website really led us astray with all that false info.

    A camping time with my family

    I was going on a holiday with the whole family. It is summer and we want to have a cool vacation. I made use of the Canvas Holidays. Quite affordable. It was easy to navigate through the website. I found a camping site and we prepared for the journey. We discovered there were fishing holidays available and where my babies could have some fun. I was so happy. It is another time to have a fun time and quality experience with my family after work. We went on the trip and had great fun. We did lots of great activities. We lodge at the mobile homes. A very comfortable and cozy environment.

    Holiday experience

    I've just come back from a lovely holiday with the family and I must say, it was absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. The mobile home we stayed in was really roomy and cosy, the site was kept really clean and well looked after, and the staff working at the bar were so nice and helpful. I don't get why some people have been saying bad things about the bar because I had a fantastic time there. The weather was just perfect and we had such a great time overall. I'll definitely be returning for another visit.

    Booking a family holiday

    I was really looking forward to going on holiday with my family, so we decided to book our trip together. The website we used was pretty good, but I did run into a few issues trying to sort everything out. At first, two of the options we wanted seemed to be available, but then we found out they were actually fully booked. It was a bit annoying, but after some back and forth, we managed to get everything sorted. Now we can't wait for our trip!

    Unexpected holiday cancellation

    Even though our holiday got cancelled last minute because of those new government rules, Canvas was really quick to let us know and gave us some options, like getting a 120% credit for our next booking. We'd actually booked our holiday back in July, knowing how uncertain travel was with everything going on, but the way Canvas looked after us was amazing. With their help, we managed to sort out new ferries and find another campsite.

    Booking agent let down

    I used to really enjoy going on holiday with this company, but now they've stopped having their reps and it's just not the same. The campsite we visited wasn't as clean and well-kept as it used to be, and the facilities weren't up to par. When we raised our concerns, they pretty much just told us they focus on French customers and we should look elsewhere. Such a letdown!

    Refund due to travel restrictions

    I had to cancel a trip to France at short notice because of travel restrictions, but Canvas was so understanding and gave me a full refund. Their customer service was really good, and I was really impressed by how kind and flexible they were. I've had some amazing family holidays with Canvas before at various places in France, and I'll definitely be booking with them again next year.

    Last minute accommodation change

    I was really let down by the sudden change in our accommodation that we found out about just three weeks before we were due to leave. They told us there was a music festival happening at the caravan site we had booked, so we wouldn't be able to stay there for two nights. We were given the option to turn up late or a day early, but that just wasn't possible because we'd already booked time off work and sorted out our travel plans. It was so annoying that they had clearly been advertising the festival for a while, yet they only told us at the last minute. It totally spoiled our holiday.

    Mobile home booking at a previous Selectcamp site turned Vacanceselect at Bella Italia

    I booked a mobile home at a campsite that used to be under Selectcamp but is now run by Vacanceselect. To be honest, it was a bit disappointing. When we got there, we had to wait in line at the reception for an hour just to get a wristband. The mobile home was pretty old and didn't seem very clean. Plus, the standard of service I'm used to from similar bookings just wasn't there.

    First time using this company for our holiday

    I recently booked a holiday with this company for the first time, and wow, what a disaster! The caravan we were given was an absolute state - dirty, rundown, weeds all over the place, and can you believe it, ants in the bedroom and shower! To make matters worse, the representative we dealt with was totally unhelpful and didn't seem to care about any of the problems we encountered. Safe to say, I won't be making that mistake again and using this company in the future!

    I was really looking forward to my camping trip, but I have to say, it was a massive letdown. The campsite I booked was not at all like it looked in the pictures - it was run-down and shabby. I felt so disappointed and frustrated that I had been tricked into spending my money on something so below par. It definitely put a dampener on my holiday.

    Disneyland campsite booking

    I booked a campsite near Disneyland and it was brilliant! The cost was really good and the staff were excellent. I had a few questions and they were really helpful when I gave them a ring. The campsite was just what I wanted, perfect for folks heading to Disneyland. It was a shame they don't have reps there anymore, they were so helpful previously. But the campsite hosts were lovely as well.

    Spacious mobile home with all necessities

    Although the mobile home was nice and had good facilities, it was a letdown to see that it hadn't been cleaned properly before we arrived. I had to spend quite a while getting rid of sand on the floors and stains in the microwave. The staff were really nice and helpful though, which was a bonus. The campsite was great overall, but the downside was the incredibly long queues at the bar on the first night, lasting a whole 40 minutes.

    Accommodation at Camp Eden Italy

    During my recent two-week stay at Camp Eden Italy, I was really let down. The place we stayed in was terrible - the bungalow was old and falling apart. It was obvious that it hadn't been taken care of properly, and it wasn't what we were hoping for at all.
