    I recently had a bit of a nightmare dealing with an online travel booking agency. Worryingly, I noticed a charge of $1,044.00 on my credit card from this company, even though I had never actually booked anything with them. The fact that the company is based in Romania while I'm here in the US made it pretty tough to get in touch with them directly. Trying to email them only resulted in silence, which definitely didn't help my anxiety levels.

    As my worries about the transaction's legitimacy grew, I made the decision to cancel the booking that I didn't make. I was disappointed to discover that, despite having bought cancellation insurance, the company flat out refused to give me a refund. Frustrated, I turned to Allegiant Airline, a trusted airline, to get my travel plans sorted.

    It's a real shame that eSky didn't stick to the usual customer service standards and chose to deny my refund claim. Because of this, I'd advise others to steer clear of them to avoid unnecessary stress and financial hits.

    I booked two one-way tickets from Calgary, Canada to St. Louis, MO using eSky. But the thing is, I mistakenly thought I was booking with a different airline - whoops! Long story short, when I wanted to cancel the flight, eSky said no refunds allowed due to their policy. I was pretty annoyed because I found out Westjet actually gives a full refund if you cancel 24 hours before the flight. I tried explaining this to eSky, but they stuck to their guns and even charged me an annoying admin fee. The whole lack of clarity and dodgy info really peeved me off. I'd advise against using them, they're not reliable and don't respect their customers' rights.
