About Flybe

Flybe is Europe’s largest regional airline, operating more domestic flights within the UK than any other. With over 200 routes, carrying over 8 million passengers a year, across 10 countries, Flybe accesses over 70 UK and European airports. The airline launched in 1979 as Jersey European Airways and renamed to Jersey European then British European in 1985 and 2000. Following the common shortening of the British European name to ‘BE’, the airline received its current name in 2002, repositioning itself as a full service, low-fare airline. This also came with the news of a new European base centred at Dusseldorf.


Services offered by Flybe

Booking is simple through the online system that saves your details making it very easy to book in the future. Add-ons and passenger information can be altered at any point before check-in, which can be done online. Extensive information is online regarding baggage allowances and restricted items. Passengerassistance is available for wheelchair users and young children etc. Seating options are available for selection before departure so that the whole group can be sat together to start and end your journey. Fast track boarding is a good option for busy flights for people that cant afford to be delayed or would like to spend more time in the executive lounge. A great selection of in-flight refreshments includes hot and cold snacks, as well as the in-flight shopping magazines that offer discounted duty-free prices. Flybe offers the Avios points reward scheme that can be used to discount future travel. As well as flights the Flybe website now allows you to search for hotels and cars in association with Booking.com. Airport parking and travel insurance can also be arranged through the website.
