Honeymoon booking
We visited lots of places to book our honeymoon, and one of them was Kuoni in Milton Keynes. The lady we spoke to, Vicky Bignell, was really nice and very knowledgeable. She listened to our preferences and put together a great itinerary that included everything we asked for. The price was reasonable and they even give you a fancy package. It was a breeze to make changes via email. We're really looking forward to our honeymoon - definitely recommend Kuoni!
Honeymoon booking to Thailand
I popped into the store in Milton Keynes the other day to sort out booking my honeymoon to Thailand and I have to say, I was totally blown away by the service from the staff. Lynsey, in particular, was just amazing - so knowledgeable and patient, she really helped us put together the perfect itinerary for our trip. She listened to what we wanted and made loads of changes to the hotel bookings until we were completely happy with everything.
After we made the booking, we even got a follow-up call to talk about seat bookings and to answer any questions we had. I can't wait for our trip in January and I'll definitely let you know how it goes once we're back. But so far, the level of service and attention to detail we've received has been outstanding.Travel documents buried in unnecessary information
I recently bought a travel package from the company and I have to say I was pretty frustrated by the 'final travel documents' they sent over. Instead of a simple document with stuff like e-ticket numbers, flight details, and pick-up info, they sent me a massive 13-page PDF full of pointless colour photos and tourist info. It was such a pain - I had to waste time printing the whole thing out and then physically cutting out the bits I actually needed. It was so unnecessary and annoying, they should have just given me a basic document with the important details on it.
Special trips booked
Kuoni always goes above and beyond for us when we book our special trips. Their knowledge and focus on the little things make it so easy to plan, and their stores are just as impressive as their service. We wouldn't even consider using anyone else for our travel arrangements.

The travel agent at the MK branch did an amazing job organising our honeymoon to Mauritius and Reunion. Their attention to detail and personal service made our trip hassle-free and unforgettable. Everything was spot on from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend using a travel agent with expertise like the one we had.
Cancelled trip due to covid
I had to cancel my trip because of the pandemic, and at first, they gave me a voucher for the deposit. But when I got in touch with them, they sorted out a full refund in just 24 hours. I was really impressed with how quickly and helpfully the customer service team dealt with it.
Luxury holiday package to Mexico
I recently booked this super fancy holiday package to Mexico with this travel agent, right, thinking it was going to be all top notch and smooth sailing. But, mate, when we actually got there, it was a right let down. No one was there to greet us, even though we shelled out a pretty penny for that service. It was all pretty unprofessional and disorganised, really got us down. We ended up sorting out our own way to the hotel, which was a real headache and not what we had in mind for a chilled out holiday.
Luxury holiday booking
I just booked a fabulous holiday with this company and I was really impressed with the service I got. The team at the Newcastle store, especially Michael and Sharna, were amazing. They were super helpful and so friendly, which made booking everything really easy. Our holiday was fantastic, everything went smoothly from the transfers to our accommodation. I was really impressed by how consistent the service was, whether you're booking a fancy holiday or a quick city break.
Maldivian Anniversary Trip
My partner and I spontaneously decided to book a last-minute anniversary trip to the Maldives. After receiving a recommendation from the staff at the travel agency, we chose to visit Kuramathi Island. The service we received was top-notch - they took into account our preferences, worked with our budget, communicated well, and truly seemed to care about our experience. Leigh and Amy, from the agency team, were fantastic and really made the booking process easy and fun. Overall, deciding to book with them was the perfect choice and we would definitely recommend their services to anyone planning a trip.
Longhaul holidays
I used to always book my longhaul holidays with this company, but my last trip was really disappointing. The service I received was unprofessional, with several representatives who couldn't help me with my travel requests. The itinerary they suggested didn't include the hotels or flight companies I wanted, which was different from my previous experiences with them. The customer service was also bad, they were slow to respond and didn't try to accommodate my needs. In the end, I switched to another provider who gave me the great service I used to get from this company. As a long-time customer, I'm really unhappy and won't be using them again in the future.
Travel planning assistance
I used this company years ago for long trips and thought I'd try them again now that I'm retired and planning to travel a lot. I asked for some information but never got the call back they promised. It's been 9 days now and still no response. It seems like their customer service has really gone downhill and they don't seem bothered about getting new customers.
Mauritius holiday booking
I had an amazing time booking my holiday to Mauritius with this company. The Destination Expert who helped me with everything was so patient and attentive. The lovely brochures and special extras made everything feel personal, and I felt really taken care of. Plus, the Kuoni rep at the resort knew their stuff and was always on hand to help me out on WhatsApp, which was great for making sure I was looked after while I was there.
South Africa 17-day trip
I just got back from an amazing 17-day trip to South Africa, where I visited Cape Town, Franschhoek, Hermanus, and went on a safari in the Kariega Reserve. The hotels I stayed in - the Commodore, Mount Nelson, Mont Rochelle, and The Marine - were all fantastic, with great service and friendly staff. But what really made the trip special was the outstanding service from our Kuoni Country Rep, Kerstin Camehl. Kerstin went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, suggesting improvements, giving us restaurant recommendations and organizing activities, and keeping us updated through WhatsApp. She clearly loved her job and cared a lot about our experience in South Africa. Knowing she was just a phone call away for any issues was really reassuring. Thanks to Kerstin's hard work and dedication, our trip was truly unforgettable.
Zilwa Attitude Hotel stay
I stayed at a hotel in Mauritius recently that was supposed to be great for families, but our room situation was really disappointing. Even though we booked a superior room as a honeymooning couple, we ended up being sandwiched between two rooms with loud toddlers for quite a while. The hotel offered to move us to a different room, but that would have meant giving up our lovely beachfront location. It's a shame, but this experience has put us off coming back to this hotel.

I'm a customer who recently bought a luxury holiday package, and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the service from the company. Even though we splashed out quite a bit for a trip for my wife and me, the whole experience hasn't been smooth at all. The travel expert they assigned to us didn't really deliver - they didn't sort out things like booking holiday lounges or restaurants, which are pretty standard for a luxury holiday. Compared to other companies I've used before, like JET 2 and Trailfinders, Kuoni just didn't measure up in terms of communication, support, and how well-organised everything was.

Med cruise and hotel stay
My family and I recently took a trip on a cruise around the Mediterranean and stayed in a hotel in Athens. To be honest, the hotel was a bit disappointing and the cruise ship felt more like a noisy construction site. We tried to raise our concerns with the company but they didn't really take responsibility, despite us shelling out a decent amount of money. They did offer some compensation, but it wasn't enough to make up for the overall disappointment of the trip.

Safari disappointment in Tanzania
My safari experience in Tanzania was a bit of a let-down to be honest. I had such a good time on the Taste of Kenya safari, so I had high expectations for Tanzania. But then things started going downhill when our driver/guide got sick in the Serengeti and ended up being sick outside the vehicle. It was pretty grim. We had to join another group for 2 and a half days, changing our "small group" safari into a "large group" one. This sudden switch caused some tension among the group and kind of ruined what should have been an amazing experience. I think it would have been nice if the company had apologised for the inconvenience.
