Ripoff parking
I went to this place to park my car with my friends and it turned out to be a complete ripoff! We thought we were paying one price to pre-book, but then we got charged again at the machine. It was so unfair! We definitely won't be going back there again, that's for sure.
Expensive parking fees
My recent visit to the car park across from the hospital really annoyed me. I parked there for a bit over two hours on a Thursday and got charged £7.50! It seemed way too expensive, especially since they don't offer any discounts for disabled people. To top it off, the whole place was dirty and the payment machines were gross. Being a parent who needs a convenient parking spot, I felt like they were exploiting their position to overcharge us. Really terrible!
Lost keys
I was really stressed when I lost my keys in the car park, but thankfully this lovely attendant called Frankie came to my rescue. He was super helpful and friendly. Walking is difficult for me as I'm disabled, but Frankie was so patient and even went back over my steps to locate my keys. I had dropped them near the entrance, but Frankie managed to find them and save the day. He was easy to talk to, nice and really helped me relax when I was getting too worked up. Huge thanks to Frankie!
Car park security issues
This car park says it's safe, but let me tell you, it's not. My car got broken into, they smashed the passenger window. When I came back to get my car, I saw that the pedestrian entrance wasn't as secure as it should be. Even the entrance/exit gates were left open, making me think it was an inside job. I won't be parking there again, don't want to risk my car's safety.
Odd shape car park, difficult lift access
Parking in the car park at the OMNi centre was quite tricky. The shape of the car park made it hard to figure out where to go, and finding the lift to the street was a bit of a challenge. Even though I've been living in Edinburgh for fifty years, I had a tough time with this car park. But, thankfully, Jorge, the attendant on duty, really helped me out. He was so useful in helping me find my QR code, and his friendly and patient attitude was really impressive.
Parking booking experience
I recently had a really disappointing experience booking parking with this company. I had reserved a spot in Nottingham for a specific time, but because of traffic and the event I was going to, I got there earlier and left sooner than planned. I was surprised to see I was charged extra for arriving early and they wouldn't refund me for the time I didn't use. When I tried to talk about it with Sarah from customer service, she was rude and didn't care much. It made me even more annoyed. Overall, I thought the customer service wasn't great and they weren't flexible with my booking, which was a let-down.
Hospital car park experience
I went to the hospital and parked in their car park. But when I got out, I had to fork out £30! And to top it off, my car got damaged while parked there. Completely outrageous! I attempted to speak with the person at the front desk, but all he did was mumble. They mentioned there are no cameras to check what went down, which is just absurd. They clearly have no regard for their customers!
Bright, well-lit parking
The car park at Capital Square was just what I needed - it was bright, well-lit and felt safe. A really friendly guy called David gave me some great advice on how to get to my hotel and find the EICC. The location was handy and with such excellent customer service, my visit was really enjoyable.
My parking experience
My dad parked the car here, and when we came back, we found out that the back window was smashed and someone had stolen things. It was really unpleasant. They shouldn't be allowed to keep running if they're going to treat people like that.
Car Break-in
I parked my car somewhere and then my back window got smashed and some stuff got nicked which was really annoying. I asked for help and they just said "not our problem" which was really unhelpful, not cool at all.
Online booking for EV charging
I had a bit of a rough time the other day when I tried to book a spot for charging my electric car online at a car park. Even though I got there nice and early, I had loads of problems with the chargers and the app they use. Because there was no signal underground, I couldn't even register for the charger or ask for help. And to top it off, I got charged extra for showing up a bit too soon and leaving a bit too soon.
Pre-booked parking
Definitely steer clear of this parking company. I booked my parking online, turned up after and left sooner than expected, in the very car I had pre-booked. But then, 2 days later, they sneakily charged me the whole fee again without warning or my say-so. It's basically robbery! When I got in touch with customer service, they tried to say the number plate didn't match the booking, which is totally untrue because the car went through with the same scanned number plate both times.
Booked guaranteed reserved Parking
What a complete nightmare! I booked a guaranteed reserved parking space online, but when I arrived, the car park was completely full. Spent nearly an hour driving around with other frustrated customers, trying to find a parking space with no luck. There were no attendants on site, just a useless answering machine. Ended up missing my show at NIA due to all the chaos. Lost £200 on tickets and parking fees. I will never, ever use this car park again.
Overpriced parking experience
The parking situation was an absolute nightmare. The parking building was so narrow and there wasn't even a proper walkway for pedestrians, which made it really hard to get around safely. And don't get me started on the prices - we ended up forking out over 10 quid for just 2 hours of parking. The payment system was a total disaster too. We shelled out 3.5 quid at the machine, only to be hit with an extra charge of 6.40 quid at the exit. We had to hold up the line while we paid again, which was so annoying and inconvenient. All in all, a rubbish and ridiculously expensive parking experience.
Overpriced parking
I was really looking forward to a day out with my friends, but then we had to park at this place that charged us loads of extra money! We arrived really early, but they still made us pay more even though we left early as well. It felt like they were trying to be sneaky and take advantage of us. It just doesn't seem fair!
Barrier trouble
Me and my family were trying to leave the car park when the barrier wouldn't open for us, can you believe it? We had to hang around for ages until someone eventually arrived to assist us. I gave them my order number and suddenly, like magic, the barrier opened. It wasn't cool at all, no apologies or anything!
Parking voucher assistance
The staff at the car park were really helpful when I needed assistance with using a special parking voucher from the local theatre. Fiona at the Nottingham branch was especially great and went the extra mile to explain how I could redeem the voucher, which ended up saving me some cash on parking during my trip to the city. Not only were the staff friendly and helpful, but the car park itself was nice and tidy, and easy to find my way around - which was perfect for me coming from Derby. The location of the car park also made it simple for me to get to the main roads for a quick exit. In general, I was well chuffed with the service I got at this car park.
Parking
Big scam . charged 17 pounds for one hour overstay
