Alcohol order
I ordered some alcohol from The Drink Shop towards the end of November. Sadly, the company went bust and I ended up being £200 out of pocket. They took my money but never delivered the items I bought. It's really not on for a business to take payment for things they don't actually have, leaving customers high and dry. I'm really unhappy about this whole situation and definitely wouldn't suggest The Drink Shop to anyone in need of alcohol.
Seamless and prompt experience
I've used The Drink Shop twice now, and both times I've been really impressed with the whole experience. Ordering was super easy thanks to their user-friendly website. The delivery was quick and my orders arrived in perfect condition, which was great. What really stood out for me was how reliable their delivery service was - they found my address without any problems, unlike other companies I've used before. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of The Drink Shop and their fantastic service!
Alcohol for a party
I recently bought some alcohol for a party from The Drink Shop. I chose the express 2-day delivery option because I needed the items quickly. Unfortunately, after I made the order and paid for the express delivery, I got an email saying that my delivery would be delayed until the end of the month. I was really disappointed because I paid extra for fast delivery to get the items on time. The new month has begun, but my order still hasn't arrived. The service I got was so bad, especially considering how much money I spend on similar products every year. This whole experience has definitely made me think twice about using this company again in the future.
Cocktails and snacks
So, I ordered some cocktails and snacks from this online shop, yeah? And they were all like "yeah, your order will be here in 4 whole weeks!" I was like, what the heck? Ain't nobody got time for that! So I gave their customer service a call, and they were all "oh, sorry, two things you ordered are out of stock". Like, why didn't you tell me that before, hello? They cancelled those two items and gave me my money back, but when the rest of my order arrived the next day, one of the items was missing! I had to give them another call, and the lady was super rude. She was like "well, it's your fault for ordering online in the first place". Um, excuse me? I ain't the one messing up here, lady! And then she wouldn't even refund me the delivery charge. How rude is that? Definitely not using this place again, that's for sure.
Incorrect order twice
The Drink Shop really needs to improve when it comes to getting orders correct. I ordered a specific product, but they got it wrong twice. It's annoying to spend almost £100 and not get what you ordered. Not only did they mess up the order, but I had to return the product twice, which wasted my time and caused unnecessary stress. The fact that they didn't offer any compensation made it even worse. I won't be shopping here again and I would advise others to avoid the same disappointment.
Five pack of pre-mixed cocktails
I recently bought a five-pack of pre-mixed cocktails from The Drink Shop. They were in my fridge for about six weeks when I noticed that one of the bottles had changed colour a lot. Concerned about the quality, I contacted customer service. Unfortunately, their response wasn't great - they just said it might be due to how I stored it and told me not to drink it if it didn't taste right. Disappointed, I decided to reach out to the brand directly for help. Their PR company, 3 Monkeys Zeno, was really helpful and offered to replace the affected bottle and even gave me some extras. While I appreciate the quick response, the customer service from The Drink Shop has made me hesitant to buy from them again. I will still enjoy the product itself, though.
Mixed delivery experience
I bought something from The Drink Shop not long ago and I have to say, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Ordering was easy, no problem there, I picked my stuff and chose a delivery date no bother. But when delivery day rolled around, it was a bit of a letdown. Less than half of what I ordered turned up, and on top of that, there was no note or anything explaining why. I phoned up straight away to ask about the missing bits, and the customer service team didn't seem to know what was going on. Got me wondering how they could not realise they hadn't sent everything out. They said the rest of my order would come the day after, but after reading some other reviews online, I've got a bit of worry creeping in. Now I'm waiting to see if the rest of my order appears when they say it will.
Damaged item, no replacement received
I had a really bad first experience with this shop. My order was damaged in transit because of issues with the courier, and they didn't even try to deliver it. I emailed them to ask for a replacement, but they never got back to me. Fortunately, I paid with PayPal, so I was able to get a refund. It's frustrating that they still haven't responded to me at all.
Dirty packaging received
I got a package that was in a right state. The box on the outside was all dirty and covered in what seemed like mud. And when I opened it up, the stuff inside was just as bad - all grubby and full of dirt and bits of fluff. It was as if someone had packed it up on a farm or something.

I have to admit, my experience with The Drink Shop was really impressive. From placing my order to the delivery, everything was done efficiently and professionally. The prices are very competitive, and getting reduced postage for multiple purchases was a great bonus. The packaging made sure my bottles arrived in perfect condition. Overall, this company goes above and beyond in terms of service and value for money.
Quick order
I placed an order online, all buzzing with excitement about getting my stuff. But that feeling didn't last long because days went by and still no sign or word about my delivery. I tried reaching out to customer service multiple times and finally got an email saying my order never got shipped due to some email problem they claimed. So now I'm in a panic trying to get my money back and no presents for Christmas. Stay away from this place at all costs!
Recent purchase inconvenience
I recently bought some stuff from this company, ordering 6 bottles at the start of the year. Unfortunately, a couple of days before my order was due to arrive in mid-February, I got an email saying that the company had gone bust and wouldn't be sending my stuff or giving me a refund. I was pretty bummed out and felt really disappointed because they didn't keep me updated or tell me what was going on. It was worrying that they took the money from my account when I placed the order, instead of closer to when they were going to send it. Luckily, I paid with Paypal, so I managed to get my money back. But if I'd paid another way, it might have been much harder to get it back.
Soft drinks and brandy
I went and got some fizzy drinks and a bottle of brandy from this place. They all came in glass bottles, so the box ended up being really heavy. Sadly, the box was knocked around during delivery and one of the bottles got broken. Some of the others were leaking a bit too. I took some photos and sent an email, and they replied within a few hours. They apologised and refunded me for the broken bottles, the postage, and even threw in an extra ten pounds. Really pleased with the service, honestly!
Curaçao Syrup Purchase
I just bought some Curaçao syrup from The Drink Shop and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. I ordered it ages ago, and when it eventually showed up, it went to the wrong place. On top of that, the syrup turned out to be non-alcoholic, which really wasn't what I had in mind. This whole thing has been the pits - it's definitely the worst experience I've had with a mail order company. I'd suggest folks think twice before ordering from The Drink Shop.
Gifts for Christmas
I ordered some gifts for Christmas about 11 days before the big day. I picked the delivery date to be the 23rd of December, but unfortunately, the gifts didn't arrive by then. TheDrinkShop was closed for four days, and when they did respond, it was misleading. They haven't replied to my latest email.
I don't think I can trust them with another order. I can easily get the same items from other retailers. I've spent a lot of money with them over the years, but it seems like that doesn't count for much.Case of wine
I recently bought a case of wine, but the delivery process has been really frustrating. It was sent out quickly, but it's been stuck in transit and bouncing around with the delivery company. It took them ages to even acknowledge they had the package, and then a few more days to get it to the depot. It's been delayed for days now, with the expected delivery date constantly changing. It was meant to arrive today, but now they've put it off until next week. Luckily, I wasn't waiting around for it today anyway. We get deliveries from loads of different retailers each week, like Amazon, and we've not had any issues recently, despite Covid-19. I just hope that when the package does finally arrive, it's actually the right thing.
Poire William eau de vie
I recently went to The Drink Shop to get a rare bottle of Poire William eau de vie after I was let down by another trader. It was the 22nd of December and with Christmas approaching, I was worried about delivery delays. Luckily, The Drink Shop saved the day with their next day delivery promise. The item arrived on time for Christmas Day. The product was top-notch and the service was excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better shopping experience. I highly recommend The Drink Shop to anyone looking for unique spirits or drinks.
Premium shipping, disappointed delivery time
I paid more for premium delivery, thinking my order would come in 2-3 days. Instead, I had to wait for 6 days. I emailed customer service to ask why, but they didn't seem to care much. It's annoying to spend extra for faster delivery and not get what was promised. I think companies should be truthful about delivery times and not just charge more for premium options without actually delivering on time.

Whiskey purchase
The Drink Shop is amazing, like a magical booze fairy that brings you the best spirits right to your door. It's such a treat to come back home after a tough day at work and find a beautifully packaged bottle of gold waiting for you. Ordering from their website is so easy and quick, you can easily find and buy exactly what you want. The deliveries are always on time and well-protected, making sure your order arrives safe and sound. The quality of their products is top-notch, making every sip feel like luxury. The only problem is that their selection is so huge, it's hard to resist getting more than you planned - but with choices this good, who can blame me, right?
