Exporting from UK to USA
Really efficient way for us to export our products to the USA. The price you see includes everything except for customs duty and tax. Their customer service team replied really quickly with help to classify my goods so I wasn't overcharged for the duty. My parcel arrived in the States the following day!
Two framed prints and one large framed antique sampler all with glass.
Service and price first rate. My first ever use of this kind of shipping. Would have appreciated being pointed at packaging advice, though all arrived safe and sound. Tracking diverting and more entertaining than much tv. Many thanks to Team Parcelbroker.
Doug LindsayEasy, fast and online- what could be better!
It was quite easy, their website does the explaining. They have this online shipping system which is quite easy. So it was easy peasy. Cost-efficient as well. It worked for me, in total.
Delivery Service
I arranged a pick and I packed it properly but after I paid the money , I have been told to take photos of my package. and I took three times photos just to make parcel broker satisfy.
After that they told me to pay more to TNT pick up because they can not pick up. I pay more for another pick up. At this point I still trust them
But once they pick up and it's been 10 days my package is still at Madrid. When I asked them why it is so , they told me we need some document from you
I have provided them document and then they told me they can not ship my package because I am late to provide the document.
so in total 25 days I got my package back to my home and I lost the project which I was working on and parcel broker refused to pay back my money
If I have a option to file a case on these cheater , I will.
But I Warn all users to stay away from these cheap third class companies who just do scam. Always use dhl or fedex ,
If any one want to see proof , I have emails and all the data to show how bad they are.Pick up and send to me via DHL, £30 spent
Extremely poor service and blaming everyone but themselves.
On Monday 8/3/21 I arranged for Parcel Broker to send DHL into a Farm to collect some electronic goods from my customer. I paid around £30 for this service.
DHL called the customer on Monday afternoon and said they couldn’t make it that day and would call in again the next day before 12pm.
When they didn’t arrive to collect on Tuesday as expected, I got in touch with Parcel Broker to explain, they assured me DHL had been in, but no one was around, according to my customer this was not correct, as he had 3 workers including his son, working in the yard at the time and no courier turned up for the packages. They then said perhaps DHL needed the business name, which was the Farmers surname, at the Farm address they had, I’ve been blamed for not including the business name, despite an earlier delivery to the same customer without the business name, (all be it a different courier) and how could the courier visit the farm on Tuesday if he didn’t know where it was.
Parcel broker arranged for someone to go in later on Tuesday, but barely half a hour later DHL again called my customer and informed him they wouldn’t be in until Wednesday.
I tried to call Parcel broker, but they will only deal via email, so I wrote a scathing review on here of the service I had received from them, (Parcel Broker or Trust Pilot must have removed this review as it is no longer available) within 30 minutes of my 1st review going live Parcel broker called me, it was the Marketing dept, not about my parcel, but about my review, and asking if I would amend it, I refused.
The goods were eventually collected yesterday, my customer informed me and I informed Parcel Broker, who replied back and asked if I would change my review, no apologies, no recompense, only interested in the review, they didn’t even have the courtesy to wait until my goods were delivered.
On checking tracking this morning I discovered it was still showing as to be collected, on getting in touch with Parcel Broker I asked what was going on, only to be told apparently this time it was my customers fault as he had left an old waybill label on and the courier scanned that (it was sent down by a different courier, so I don’t know how DHL can scan a label from another company. It seems it’s everyone’s fault but Parcel Brokers, I was also told the couriers don’t 100% guarantee a pick up on the arranged date, but I can assure you, you 100% get charged for the pickup, despite it not being guaranteed.
I have just had another email (despite asking for a phone call) from the Marketing dept outlining that none of this is Parcel Brokers fault, it’s my fault for not including the business name, and it’s my customers fault for not removing an old label, essentially they aren’t really interested, as it stands one of my parcels is due to be delivered to me, although I still don’t know when, and they have lost the other one.
So far I paid for a service and have nothing but wasted time, a lot of angst, and excuses from Parcel Broker, I for one will not be using them again.
My previous review has disappeared, I think that might have been because I recommended another company, but lets hope this one is left to stand as it’s a true recollection of the events of the past 4 days, I have all the email correspondence to back this up too.shipping from Canada to UK
Please, don't use this company. Find any other way to ship your goods. I shipped a Christmas parcel from Canada to the UK - or rather I tried to. I've done this plenty of times before with zero problems, but this was the first time with parcelbroker. Never again. First it took 6 days to get 'next day pick-up'. Then the parcel sat in a warehouse waiting for customs info and no one told me - I only found when I checked tracking myself. I had to provide HS tariff codes for everything I was sending; I've never had to do this before. Then when it reached the UK, customs objected to some non-perishable snacks and the parcel is now on it's way back to me. At my expense. I know that last part is a decision on UK customs, but as I said I've shipped countless things before and never had a problem. And parcelbroker have been poor at providing information at every turn; they accepted a parcel from me without telling me all the paperwork that was required! They didn't tell me I had to provide it, I had to ask what was the delay! Save money on shipping? Not if you have to pay it 3 times in order to get your delivery to arrive. Don't be fooled by them calling themselves 'brokers', they seem to know very little about international shipments.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all cost, go direct and cut out this middle man. I'm sure I'll get some spurious response on here but believe me go direct and avoid.
Had a long item that I needed couriered to me, spoke to them gave them all the dimensions, weights etc. gave me a quote , I asked about insurance and I paid the insurance, advised that it was to pick up and deliver to me from a supplier, at no point did they point me to their insurance claims T&C's and packaging guidelines.
Needless to say the 3 parcels turned up all damaged. The delivery driver agreed they were damaged, , and as they were in an empty van and not tied down they had been thrown around in the van. The items were packaged and sealed in cardboard and then wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap. To anyone it was obvious that the items had received no care or attention and suffered sever trauma and force to damage what are resilient items So thought OK I have insurance I will claim. Cant claim to TNT direct but through Parcel broker , they then sent me their Claim T&C's which revealed their very specific packaging requirements which would have been nice to know before hand, so that I could wrap them up in cotton and lace and foam and gold and multiple layers or cardboard , as that would be the only way to meet their claim guidelines.
Submitted my claim and as suspected rejected even without them inspecting the goods, feel like I've been mugged and they have not only taken money for delivery but also the money for the insurance. I get the feeling even if I had wrapped them up as per their guidelines they would have found another reason to back out. Companies like this shouldn't really be able to operate in today's society
As I say Don't use, go direct at least you can then claim against the delivery company direct, as using this company leaves you with no other form of recompense if things go wrong.
