Small envelope next day delivery
I had a terrible experience at the post office. I sent a small envelope on Wednesday, paid for next day delivery before 1pm, but it's now Friday and the tracking still shows it hasn't even left the shop. When I called the shop, they just told me to check with Royal Mail. Royal Mail told me to file a complaint and gave me a complaint number. I'm really frustrated with this whole situation and the lack of customer service. Paying extra for next day delivery should mean getting it the next day, not waiting for days and hearing excuses. I recommend avoiding this post office if you want your items to reach their destination on time.
Courier pick-up service disappointment
I recently arranged for a courier to come pick something up, thinking it would be quick and easy. They said they'd come between 10.09 and 1.09, but *surprise surprise,* no one turned up at all during that time. So, I basically wasted my whole day waiting around for nothing. It really makes me doubt the reliability and professionalism of courier services, especially when they're supposed to be linked to big names like The Post Office/Royal Mail. Maybe they need to tighten up their act a bit so that this kind of let-down doesn't happen as often. Customers shouldn't have to waste their time waiting for a service that never even shows up.
Insurance purchase for my home
I was absolutely shocked by the terrible service I got from this company. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and had no clue about customer service. It was like dealing with a zoo in a post office not professional staff. Their prices were not good at all and I felt like they were taking advantage of me. I would recommend avoiding this place completely, it's a joke and a waste of time.
New passport application
I went to the branch the other day to apply for a new passport and I must say, I was really impressed with the service I got. Elaine, who helped me out, was so nice, patient and really quick with everything. It was great to have someone guiding me through the process and making it all easy. The other staff were friendly too, which made the whole atmosphere really positive even with all the bad things in the news about the Post Office. All in all, I was happy with the service and I'd definitely suggest this branch to others.
International package insurance
I've just tried out the international package insurance service and, sadly, my iPhone never made it to where it was meant to go. It was a real hassle that took me 20 days to sort out and try to get reimbursed for. Dealing with the whole situation was a complete nightmare, so I wouldn't advise using it.
Insurance purchase online
Yeah, I bought some insurance online and it was alright, I suppose. The website was a bit confusing so I had to ask my mum for help, but I eventually managed to get what I needed. Would have been better if it was easier to use, really.
Posted birthday card
I sent a birthday card to my son using 1st class mail on the 22nd of May, but it hasn't arrived yet as of the 2nd of June. I'm feeling frustrated and disappointed about the delay. I'm now considering if I should have used a different postage option or if there was a problem with the postal service.
Postage issues
I've had a few really bad experiences at the local Post Office branch with sending parcels. The staff always seem to mess it up, consistently charging me more for postage that should actually be cheaper because of the size and weight of my parcels. It's getting pretty annoying now, even though I try to label my parcels clearly, they still manage to make mistakes. The last time I went, I took in a small, slim parcel that clearly fitted the dimensions of a large letter and weighed less than the maximum limit. But, the clerk still charged me for a small parcel, even when I pointed out the mistake. It's frustrating to always end up paying more for postage because they don't know what they're doing or pay attention to the details.
Postal Insurance Purchase
I went down to the post office to sort out some insurance for my parcels, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare! Every time I pop in there, the queue always seems never-ending, and typically there's only one person on duty! I attempted to use the self-service machine, but that didn't speed things up at all because I had to wait for what felt like an eternity for assistance. There was a young lad who was quite pleasant and helpful, but the other lady came across as rude and clearly despised her job. And please don't get me started on the lady who disappeared for lunch when there was a massive line of people waiting - so unprofessional!
Insurance Policy
I have to say, being a customer of Post Office Insurance was just fantastic. The staff were really helpful and knew their stuff when it came to the different insurance policies on offer. They pointed me in the right direction to find the best one for me. The process of ordering was simple and quick, I could easily choose the policy that worked for me. The prices were fair and made it an affordable option for my insurance needs. I got my policy documents without any delay or problems. All in all, I'm really happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Post Office Insurance to anyone else.
Passport renewal
I went to the branch on Kensington High Street to renew my passport. Harinder, the staff member there, was really helpful, patient, and quick. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process easy and stress-free. I liked how knowledgeable and professional he was. I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend this branch to others.
Insurance for parcels
So, I was trying to sort out this insurance for my parcels, right? But the person at the post office was seriously rude, like they think they're a big shot or something. And do they even bother washing their hands after handling all that cash? Gross. I'm telling you, next time I'm just gonna open my own post office with better service and cheaper rates. What's going on with India anyway?
Sending a package
Well, the customer service at that place is just terrible, to be honest. Basically, I went to the post office to send a package, and the staff member there tried to get me to use a special delivery service that I didn't need. When I said no and asked for a signed item instead, they got really condescending and started lecturing me about all the potential problems I could have if my package got lost. I mean, come on, I think I know how to send my own packages without being treated like a child. Plus, they overcharged me for a large envelope when it should have been a smaller size. Overall, the service there was absolutely terrible.
Insurance purchase
I bought insurance from this company not long ago and honestly, I was pretty let down by the service I got. I had a problem with one of the staff members in their office, so I thought I'd drop them an email to complain about it. Trouble is, it's been weeks now and still no reply. It's just not on for a company to brush off customer complaints, especially when it's about their own staff. I was hoping for better communication and professionalism from this lot, but it seems like I might've set my expectations a bit too high.
Parcel insurance purchase
I went to the post office to get parcel insurance, as it's nearby, but I was not impressed with the customer service. There was one employee who always had a bad attitude and was not very helpful. I tried to be polite, but they seemed to be hostile towards me.
Home insurance policy
The process of ordering was quite simple and easy to follow. However, I didn't feel that the service from the company was very professional or understanding. The prices seemed ok at first, but I later discovered better offers somewhere else. On the plus side, the policy documents arrived quickly and efficiently.
Travel insurance claim
I recently had a bit of a nightmare with my travel insurance claim. Basically, my suitcase went missing during my trip, and trying to claim with the insurance company was a right pain. To start with, I had to wait around for the airline to confirm that my suitcase was well and truly lost before I could even begin the claim process. This waiting game just stressed me out unnecessarily, you know? Then, when I finally got to fill in the online form given by the insurance company, it was a nightmare. The page kept freezing, making it a real mission to get all the info in there. On top of that, the insurance company wanted receipts and photos as proof of ownership for the items in my suitcase. Trying to find receipts for stuff when I always pay in cash and don't keep records was a nightmare. Even when I provided a receipt for some pricey prescription sunglasses, they wouldn't give me any money back because of a stupidly high excess fee. The whole experience was a letdown, to be honest. The insurance company didn't show any understanding or compassion, which was pretty disappointing, especially after how much I shelled out for the policy in the first place.
Parcel insurance
I'm really shocked at the complete lack of competence and accountability at this company. I bought parcel insurance, only for my parcels to go missing not once, but twice in just 9 months. It's just not on and it's frankly disgraceful.
Glass picture purchase
I recently bought a glass picture from this company and they wrapped it in bubble wrap and packed it in a sturdy cardboard box. They even wrapped it in bubble wrap again for extra protection. It had 'Fragile' tape on it and was sent to me via 1st Class Tracked Guaranteed next day delivery. But, despite all the careful packaging, the picture didn't arrive until two days later and it was completely shattered. I was so upset because it was supposed to be for my Dad's 90th birthday present. I had spent a lot of money on it, only for it to turn up in pieces. I am really let down and annoyed by the whole situation.
Savings account opened
I opened a savings account at this place and it was a huge mistake. The website was incredibly confusing, it took me ages to work out how to even open the account. And let me tell you about the customer service - every time I called, the agents didn't have a clue and just ended up making me even more baffled. It was an absolute nightmare!
