Hiking boots
I ordered some hiking boots that I really needed by a certain date, but the delivery got delayed without any updates. I got in touch with customer service rep Andrew who promised me the boots would arrive on time, but then suddenly my order was cancelled just hours before reaching me. Dealing with Andrew was a nightmare - he was very unprofessional and didn't seem to care about my problem at all. Now I have to wait for a refund until the boots are sent back. The customer service was absolutely terrible and no apologies were offered. I won't be using this company again for sure.
Boots, Misdelivery, Frustration
As a customer, my experience with this company was an absolute nightmare. I ordered a pair of boots and eagerly awaited their arrival, only to receive an email stating that the item was being returned. Confused, I reached out to customer service and was told that the boots were being refunded in full. Fine, I thought, and proceeded to purchase another pair of boots from a different retailer. Little did I know, the drama was just beginning. Two days later, a random pair of shoes arrived at my door, not the boots I had ordered. I was informed by customer service that I would need to pay for the shoes, despite the error being on their end. No discounts or coupons were offered, leaving me to foot the bill for their mistake. I explained that I had already purchased new boots and needed to return the shoes, only to find out that the shoes weren't even mine - they were men's shoes! The frustration of the misdelivery and miscommunication has left me seething, and here I am, stuck at the post office trying to rectify this entire mess.
Outdoor jacket and hiking boots
Well, I've got to say, I was really impressed with the service I got from this company. The prices were good, much better than other outdoor shops, and they let me know exactly what was happening with my delivery. The outdoor jacket and hiking boots I bought were spot on for my upcoming trip, and I'm really pleased with what I got.
Walking boots
I have to be honest, I was really pleased with how things went with this company. Their website was dead easy to use, and they had loads of walking boots to choose from. Even though they said there might be delays with deliveries, my order turned up in just 4 working days. The boots were packed up really nicely and were just what I wanted. I'd definitely recommend them to others!
Rain jacket purchase
I recently bought a rain jacket from this company and it was a pretty good experience. Their website was simple to use, and I found what I wanted quickly. Ordering was easy too, and I liked that they kept me in the loop with updates on my order. The jacket arrived as expected, and I was happy with how it looked and fit. Awesome jacket at amazing price
I bought this jacket from a website and it was really cool. The price was so cheap too. It took a bit longer to arrive because of some Brexit stuff, but the customer service people were really quick to respond and helpful. I would definitely buy from them again, no doubt about it!
Boots for hiking and trekking
I bought some boots for hiking and trekking from this store, and they were absolutely great. Top quality, just what I needed. I was really happy with my purchase. However, I had to give it 4 stars because my order was delayed. I know delays can happen, but it was a bit frustrating. Still, I have to say, the company's communication and customer service were excellent. They were really responsive and helpful the whole way through, which I really appreciated.
Outdoor gear
At first, I wasn't sure about buying from this company because of some bad reviews I'd seen, but I thought I'd give them a go. I bought some outdoor gear and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and easy the process was. The item arrived quickly and they kept me well informed about my order. However, I had a problem with the size of the item and had to send it back. I had to contact customer service for a returns label as the link on their website wasn't working properly. Despite a small delay caused by customs due to Brexit, the company kept me updated and reassured me throughout. In the end, I got my refund without any issues. Overall, I was happy with my experience and would consider shopping with them again in the future.
Waterproof boots
The waterproof boots arrived quickly and were reasonably priced. But when I wore them on wet grass for the first time, I was really let down to discover that both boots leaked badly, even though they were supposed to be "all weather" and "waterproof". I got in touch with customer service to complain and they asked for photos, which I sent straight away. However, I have not heard anything back from them since then, despite my follow-up emails. I'm disappointed as a customer by their lack of communication and the fact that my problem remains unresolved.
Boots mix-up
I ordered these really nice hiking boots for my weekend adventure, but they totally got my order mixed up and sent me the wrong ones! I was really excited to try them out, but now I can't because they sent me men's boots instead of the women's ones I wanted. It's just not right!
Camping gear purchase
I recently bought some camping gear from this company and I have to say, I was really impressed with the whole thing. The service was brilliant, they kept me well informed the whole way through the ordering process, and quickly too. I liked how they sorted out all my questions before I even had to ask, it showed they really care about their customers. Also, the fact that they only charged my account when they sent out the items proves they are honest and upfront. I'm really happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be returning to shop with them again in the future.
Climbing shoes
I bought some climbing shoes from this company not too long ago, and I'm really let down by their service. It's been 10 days since I ordered them, and just two days ago they said the courier had my parcel. But when I spoke to the courier, they said they were still waiting. This has actually happened to me before with this company, and I've had it up to here. The poor communication and reliability is just not on, so I won't be shopping with them again.
Chair order
I ordered a chair from this place and it took absolutely ages to arrive! I received an email saying it had been sent to someone else by mistake and then they couldn't find it. I had to wait even longer to get my money refunded. It was really frustrating!
Ski coat purchase
I was a bit unsure about buying from this site at first because of the reviews, but I'm really glad I went for it. I ended up getting a ski coat for my partner that was on sale for much cheaper than any store in London. It came all the way from Germany and got here in just 5 days, with no extra costs. The packaging was really strong too, so the coat arrived in perfect condition.
Boots purchase
I was really impressed with the service from this company. They kept me informed about my order every step of the way, so I knew exactly where my boots were during delivery. When my LL Bean boots arrived, they were on time, in good condition, and well-packaged. Overall, I was left feeling happy and confident that my purchase was taken care of. I will definitely be thinking about using this company again in the future.
Ordered a jacket
I got this really awesome jacket from them but when I had to get it sent to a different address they told me it was too late to change it. Oh, it's so annoying!
Hiking gear purchase
At first, I wasn't too sure about ordering from this store because of some issues I'd heard about with deliveries and customer service. But I was actually really happy when my order arrived on time and the customer service was really helpful. So now I'm thinking I'll definitely shop here again because they have some great deals.
Climbing gear purchase
I ordered some climbing gear from this website thinking it was a UK business, but it turns out they ship from Germany! Also, the prices they show don't even include VAT, so I was surprised by the final cost at checkout. Additionally, they dispatch your items right away, so there's no opportunity to change your mind. On the positive side, my gear arrived faster than I expected and was in excellent condition. It wasn't as terrible as I had anticipated!
backpack purchase, fast delivery, mixed reviews
As a customer who doesn't always trust online reviews, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with my recent purchase. Despite seeing some mixed reviews on Trustpilot, I took a gamble and bought a backpack that was much cheaper than other stores and in a colour that I couldn't find anywhere else in the UK. I placed my order late on a Friday night and to my surprise, the bag arrived the following Saturday morning, delivered by Evri from Germany. The bag was in perfect condition, and I didn't face any issues with additional taxes. Although I appreciated the regular updates on the delivery process, I do think the company could improve their weekend availability. If you want faster delivery, I would suggest ordering on a Monday morning. Normally, I prefer DPD for deliveries, but this time Evri did a fantastic job. Overall, I have no complaints and am a very happy customer.
Sleeping bag and hiking boots
I've been a regular customer at this place for ages and they are always really quick with sending out my stuff. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. The one small suggestion I have is that they could maybe consider using smaller boxes for smaller items. For example, my sleeping bag and hiking boots could easily have fit into a smaller box than the one they were sent in.
