Recent order experience
At first, I was a bit let down by my last order because things didn't go as planned and it took a while for customer service to get back to me. Nevertheless, a really helpful customer service person sorted everything out in just a few days. I've been shopping with this company for ages, so despite the rocky start, I'm happy with how they dealt with it - really friendly and efficient. The products are top-notch too, like my trusty maritime shirts that have stood the test of time, lasting for more than twenty years of wear and washing. Thanks for all your help and for keeping up the high quality that keeps me coming back as a loyal customer.
A jumper
I purchased a jumper back in December, but there's no clue about where it was made. I assumed it was made in France because of the price, but it turns out it wasn't. I wore the jumper for the first time today and it started pilling a lot. I've been using Armor Lux products since I was a kid and this has never happened before. It's a shame, but I won't be recommending them anymore.
Recent lost order
I placed an order on the 2nd of May and it still hasn't arrived as of the 17th. It was supposed to be delivered by Mondial Relay. Armor Lux's response to this problem has been really disappointing. They haven't done anything to give us a refund, and they're just saying since it was free delivery, they've got the money and we've got nothing except the hope that they'll eventually sort it out. We've been customers for 20 years and we really thought they'd be more helpful and take responsibility for the situation.
Return request
I took something back three weeks back and I'm still waiting on my money back. The customer service weren't much help at all, they even brought up their problems with the courier which just made me feel like it wasn't my problem to deal with. It was my first time buying from this company and I won't be doing it again, that's for sure. Cheers.
High-quality clothing
I really love how durable the clothing is and how well it fits. The cuts are so flattering and the sizing is just right. I can't say enough positive things about this brand.
Unwanted newsletter emails
I've asked them loads of times to stop sending me their newsletters, but they just won't listen. So now, I'm putting together all the evidence to show that they're not following the GDPR rules and I'll be passing it on to the right people.
Delayed Christmas gift disappointment
I bought 3 items hoping they'd arrive before Christmas, but it's been three weeks now and still no sign of my parcel. The lack of tracking and communication has been really frustrating, especially when trying to get in touch with customer service. It seems like there's a big language barrier that's making it nearly impossible to get any help. I even tried to get my parcel re-routed because of travel plans, but they were no help at all. The excuse of bad weather causing delays just seems ridiculous when other companies can still deliver on time in the same conditions. Overall, it's been a really awful experience and I definitely wouldn't recommend ordering from this company again.
Short sale, missing items
I recently bought some stuff on sale, but I was gutted to see that not everything I bought was delivered. I needed all three things for my kids, so it was a bit of a nightmare. The customer service was terrible - I couldn't really understand the email and when I called, they weren't very helpful. In the end, I had to pay full price for the missing item because the sale was over.
XL Sweaters purchase
I'm really disappointed with the XL sweater I bought recently. When they arrived, one was much shorter than the other, so I can't even wear it. Customer service wouldn't help and now I'm stuck with a faulty product.
Shortened dress with poor quality stitches
I bought this dress, yeah, but when it arrived, it was all messed up. The length was all wrong, and the stitching was terrible. I sent it back and dropped them an email, but I've had no response yet. I'm really hoping to get my money back soon because it's urgent!
Shoes fell apart after one week
I was really let down by the quality of the shoes I bought from this shop. I only wore them twice for a few hours each time, and they already started to fall apart. I was expecting way better quality from a brand that claims to be French, but I was really let down.
Shirt
I've recently bought a shirt from this company and I must say, I've not been too pleased with their delivery service. I ordered the shirt two weeks back and it still shows as "electronically announced" with no sign of arriving within the promised one week. I contacted customer service and they told me they've asked the carrier to hurry up, but it's left me feeling annoyed and doubtful. Now I'm just left wondering when or even if my shirt will actually show up.
Typical nautical T-shirt
I recently purchased a nautical T-shirt online and I was really looking forward to it because I've bought things from this brand in the past and they've been great. But, oh my goodness, when the T-shirt arrived, it was terrible! It was all crooked and uneven, and the design was a mess. It looked like it was made in a dodgy factory in Asia. On top of that, they only deliver using a strange shipping company where you have to collect your package from a random shop. How frustrating is that? And the reviews I read online were awful too, so many people had negative experiences as well. It's such a shame that this brand used to be good but now it's just awful.
Knit Pullover purchase
I bought this really cool knitted jumper from a store in November when they were having a 30% off deal. But would you believe it, a week later I received an email from them saying they'd actually run out of stock! So frustrating. I had to contact their customer service and they weren't very pleasant, to be honest. They claimed their stock wasn't updated... do they expect me to believe that?<br>Then in January, during the sales, I saw that the same jumper was back in stock (presumably someone returned it, who knows). So, I decided to order it again. I received a confirmation email and they took the money from my bank account. However, after 10 days, there were no updates. I checked my bank account and the payment had disappeared!<br>Once more, I suspect their stock wasn't updated and they cancelled my order without even informing me this time.<br>It's just awful.<br>I make an effort to be eco-friendly, avoid purchasing items from China or other places, and I'm willing to pay more for a product made in France. But unfortunately, it seems impossible... at least on this website.
Slippers with special offer
I recently bought a pair of slippers from this company which had a deal of 50% off the second one. I checked the size guide on their website and decided to go for a size bigger like they suggested. But when the slippers arrived, they were still too small for me. So, I got in touch with customer service to ask about swapping them as I really liked them. Unfortunately, they said I'd have to send the slippers back, get a refund, and then make a new order. The customer service rep also mentioned that I wouldn't get the original discount I got on my first purchase. I thought that was a bit harsh and unfair, seeing as it was just a sizing error on my part.
Super good shirt
The shirt I bought was really good quality and the delivery was a piece of cake. I was so impressed with how the shirt looked and felt when it arrived. I'll definitely be ordering from them again in the future. I highly recommend them!
Disappointing shopping experience
I popped into the store in Crozon this morning and decided to try on a model that cost £189. When I asked the sales assistant for assistance with selecting the right size in the fitting room, she told me it would take over 5 minutes! I was hoping for her to help me out, but it seemed like she was in a rush to go for lunch. Because of this, I didn't end up making a purchase as I didn't want to be stuck in the store. Seeing that kind of attitude was really disappointing. I'll look for another brand that offers better customer service. I recommend avoiding this store!
Cardan shaft purchase
I bought a cardan shaft not long ago and I was really impressed with the quality of it. Knowing it was made in Bretagne made it even more appealing to me. It fits perfectly and works perfectly too, all for a reasonable price. I'm really happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable cardan shaft.
Cold model jumper
I bought this cool jumper from your shop not long ago and I must say, I was really impressed with the quality. Only thing was, it didn't quite fit right. But your customer service team were absolutely brilliant in sorting out the exchange for me. The folks in the service department were really nice and kept me in the loop with emails about the return and exchange. Thanks to the top-notch service and top-quality product, I'm definitely a regular customer now.
Armorlux Shirts
I bought a few Armorlux shirts online not long ago and, on the whole, I was pretty happy with the quality. Although, I did run into a bit of bother with the website because it kept saying that most of the stuff in my size was sold out. I also tried to get in touch with customer service through email, but I never got a reply. Despite all that, I'm still content with the stuff I got in the end.
