Stool purchase
I recently bought a stool from this company and, to be honest, I was really disappointed with both the quality of the stool and the customer service I got. The stool was so flimsy that it would tip over with just a slight nudge, which made it feel unsafe for more than one person to sit on. When I asked to return it because of safety worries, they were not very helpful and said I couldn't return it because they claimed it had been used in a commercial setting, which just wasn't true and wasn't in their return policy. All in all, I thought the stools were poorly made and the customer service was just not up to scratch.
Bar stool problem
So, I bought this bar stool and it was a bit wonky. I let them know about it and they fixed it really quickly! I just wanted to say thanks a lot, you guys are fantastic!
Replacement stool base
I bought a new stool base from this company, but I was really let down by the service I got. Last time I got the same base for a different stool and everything was fine. But this time, when I got the base, I realised they had changed the specs without telling me. The screw span was different, so I couldn't put the stool together properly. When I contacted customer service to ask for a refund or exchange, they outright said no. They said it was my job to check the specs before buying, even though I had ordered the same thing as before. It's really shocking that they won't take responsibility. I definitely won't be buying from them again and I'll make sure others know about their bad customer service.
Recent furniture purchase
I need to tell you how unhappy I am about the furniture I bought from this company recently. The furniture isn't very good quality, and I had lots of problems with it. To make things worse, the customer service was really annoying and not very professional. It took so many emails and so much time to sort everything out, I had to get legal help to fix things. My whole experience with this company was a total nightmare, so I really don't recommend buying anything from them.
5 Bar stools
I recently bought 5 bar stools from this shop and it turned out to be a real nightmare. When they arrived, three of them were damaged and in a terrible condition - can you even believe it? Trying to reach out to customer service was a complete disaster too. They were so rude and unhelpful, which was really disappointing. To top it off, the quality of the stools was just not up to scratch, it was really poor. I definitely won't be buying from them again, that's for sure.
Two bar stools purchase
I bought two bar stools from this company in 2022. At first, I was happy because they seemed like good quality for about 8 months. However, after some time, I noticed the chrome base parts were starting to rust. I got in touch with customer service and they replaced them without any trouble, which was good. But, sadly, the replacements only lasted 5 months before they started rusting too. I am a bit let down that the company won't help outside the usual warranty period. I've had many bar stools over the years, and while the seats usually wear out with use, these ones have sturdy seats but poor quality bases. It looks like they're made from cheap materials and might not be up to scratch.
Chair purchase
I bought a chair from this place not too long ago, and it completely fell apart due to the poor welding job. It's just mad that a chair hardly even sat on couldn't stay together. When I tried to get it repaired or exchanged, they just said no. The customer service is honestly shocking, don't bother and avoid it at all costs.
4 bar stools purchase
I purchased 4 bar stools and at first, everything was going well. But then, when I put them together, I found out that one of the stools had a faulty base that made the seat go up when it shouldn't. It was really annoying. However, when I got in touch with the company about it, they were quick to send me a new base. I got it the very next day, and now all 4 stools are working perfectly. Overall, I'd say my experience with them was good, even though there was a bit of a problem at the start.
Mira Grey faux leather bar stools
As a customer, I was a bit worried at first when I read some not-so-great reviews about Lakeland Furniture. But, I have to say, my experience with them was actually really good. I bought two Mira Grey faux leather bar stools, and even though one of them had a small issue, the customer service team sorted it out super quickly and sent me a replacement part within a day. I was really impressed by how efficient and professional they were. The bar stools themselves are really good quality, so much so that I decided to order another one to complete my set. I've gotta say, Lakeland Furniture has definitely won me over as a customer, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for furniture.
Return with no instructions and had to pay
Hey, so I bought something and it didn't come with any instructions - how annoying is that! And then, when I tried to return it, they said I had to pay for it. What a rip-off! And get this, when I asked for the dimensions so I could get ready for the return, they actually told me to measure it myself! Can you believe it? It seems like they're just trying to save money by cutting corners wherever they can.
Stratos office chair
I got this swivel chair for my room, but it's making loud creaking noises and one of the wheels fell off! I managed to get a replacement, but it still gives off this spooky haunted house vibe whenever I sit on it. Quite a scary situation, if you ask me!
Kitchen bar stools
I bought four kitchen bar stools for occasional use, but unfortunately all of them have broken at the welding points. I contacted customer service each time one broke, and I have to say, they were really great. But the product quality is just bad. I paid £110 for each stool and thought they would last longer than six months to a year. It feels like a total waste of money having to buy new ones now that the warranty has expired.
Office chair broken in 6 months
I bought an office chair from this company not long ago, and I must say, I'm really disappointed with it. The chair arrived at my office like it should, but it didn't last. It fell apart after just 6 months of use. The quality was really poor, the welds broke way too easily with just regular use.
Office chairs, one damaged
I ordered some chairs and one of them arrived looking really squashed, like it had been dropped from a great height! I got in touch with them about it and they said they'd send a replacement base. But then it turns out that all of the bases were damaged. They offered me some money back, but to be honest, that chair was worth more than that! Now I have to dismantle the chair and pack it up all over again just to get a refund. It's just not fair!
Office chair purchase
I'm so disappointed with the office chair I bought recently. It was a nightmare! The metal pole was rusty and ruined my carpet, the wrong screws were included, and it was packed so badly that it caused dents in the fabric. The quality was really low - I could've got a better one at B&M or Ikea.
Desk chairs
I ordered these desk chairs and they were meant to arrive in 3 days, but 10 days passed and still no chairs! I was really annoyed, so I had to get in touch with customer services. Can you believe what they told me? They said the chairs were discontinued! I mean, seriously? All they could offer me was a refund. Ugh, frustrating! 🥲
Bar stools
I recently bought a set of four bar stools from this company, hoping they'd be black faux leather with black bases - but to my surprise, I got a wrong delivery of three green fabric stools with chrome bases, and an armchair. It's clear they messed up in their checking process. When I let them know about the mistake, they said the stools I actually ordered weren't available, with no apologies for the mix-up. They did offer to pick up the wrong items, but strangely suggested I take apart the metal bits and throw them out myself to save the seats. That would've meant unpacking everything again and going to the recycling centre, which I thought was really unfair and not on at all.
Rusted, damaged chair purchase
I bought a chair from this company and I was really disappointed with it. The chair was rusty, missing parts, and looked cheap once I unboxed it. It seemed like they didn't check the quality before sending it out. Returning it was a real hassle too. They made it hard for me and even wanted me to pay for the courier. It was a bad experience overall, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Lovely chair design
I bought this chair online and it arrived surprisingly quickly, just two days later! It's really nice and comfortable, and feels quite sturdy as well. There are a couple of minor scratches on the shiny parts, but they're not really noticeable. I was a bit nervous about ordering online due to some negative reviews, but my chair is fantastic and I'd definitely purchase from them again.

I was really nervous about ordering because of the reviews, but I couldn't find a chair like this anywhere else. In the end, I just went for it and ordering was a breeze. The delivery came really quickly, and the chair is spot on! I didn't even have to talk to customer service, so I can't say anything about that.
