it turned into a pain but at least I got my money back in the end, which I'm oddly relieved about. I ordered an under‑counter 90L freezer for weekend batch‑cooking and extra food storage; it arrived with perfect external packaging but a dented corner. I rejected it via the app and asked for a replacement, then cancelled that when they said it would take a month (I couldn't wait, basic stuff needs space). Asked for a refund and then things slowed right down — they even sent a grey A3 plastic bag and said to get it scanned at the post office (no idea how that's supposed to work for a freezer). The unit sat in my front hall for ages (awkward), communication was sluggish and delivery was disappointing, but the refund did finally appear. So grateful it's sorted, just could've been handled much better.
Not terrible, but a bit messy
It worked out in the end, though I wouldn’t call the whole thing straightforward. I spotted the listing on Google — ManoMano.co.uk was top, a friend had actually mentioned the site the week before so I checked it out — price looked better than Amazon and delivery said free. I ordered, got the confirmation and only then noticed the seller was in France and the goods were coming from China. That wasn’t clear up front, and the prospect of VAT on delivery made me uneasy. The parcel arrived eventually, no VAT to pay, but the charger wasn’t the BigBlue I ordered; it was a generic no-name unit. I emailed support and got a reply from Nora the next day promising a partial refund in “2–3 days” (which, annoyingly, is the sort of line you want to roll your eyes at). To my surprise the refund did come through after a couple of weeks. So mixed feelings — annoyed at the unclear listing and the wrong item, but actually grateful the customer support did what it said. I’ll use them again only if I’m careful and prepared for small hiccups.
Cancelled without a word
my money was put on hold so I couldn't use it to buy the same thing elsewhere. Tried to find a number, tried to call — there isn't one, which is odd and annoying. After a day I finally got a message via chat saying the seller cancelled and a refund was being processed. The refund did arrive in the end, took longer than I'd have liked, but it did come back. So my scepticism was partly right, then partly calmed down once the money returned, though the whole thing felt impersonal and clumsy. If you need phone support or quick certainty, it's not great. Compared to other companies I've used, it's awkward, but at least I didn't lose any cash.
Birthday Lambo, dimmed by poor service
it’s a birthday present, and I didn’t want him riding something that might be faulty. Cue emails to ManoMano and the seller. The advisor, Johny, was polite, fine, apologetic — but answers trickled in at maybe one email a day, which is just slow. We could have been scooting about the garden, trips to the park, showing off to grandparents, but instead we sat and stared at a nice-looking, slightly useless car. After a week they agreed to send a replacement and collect the faulty one. I took a day off for the handover; courier didn’t show. Then the next day, after me chasing them (screenshots, calls, the lot), the courier finally turned up. Johny said sorry again and offered a £10 voucher as compensation — usable only on their site. I mean, it was something, but not enough for the faff and the missed day of work. The car itself? Lovely when it works; it whizzes along, the plastic feels decent, my son loved the feel of the wheel. But the whole buying, waiting, chasing routine left me wary. I won’t be rushing back to ManoMano any time soon.
Quick delivery, poor communication
My experience with this company was so frustrating. The delivery dates came and went twice without any communication or updates. When I tried to call them, it felt like they were not even listening, just sticking to a script. I couldn't even get hold of my case worker. The customer service was awful and not helpful at all. If this is how they do things, I can only see more failures ahead. I definitely won't be suggesting this company to anyone.

Non-delivery issue
I had a really bad time with my recent order from this online company. They told me it was on its way, but after two days, I still didn't get it. The lack of updates on delivery was so annoying, and it made me feel really disappointed. I also tried to reset my password, but never got the email I needed to do it. I had a really bad experience with ManoMano. They took my money for something they didn't have and it was really difficult to cancel my order. I couldn't even get in touch with the company directly, I had to go through the supplier which was a nightmare. The messages I got from ManoMano were patronising and made me feel stupid. I even had to ask the supplier to tell ManoMano if I was being rude in my messages - terrible customer service. This was my first and last time using ManoMano, never again. They shouldn't take money for things they can't deliver and leave the supplier to sort it out. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering.
Outdoor furniture set
I made a huge error in ordering from this company. I was really looking forward to my order, but they told me it was delivered today. I've been home all day and nothing has turned up. The lack of communication and efficiency from this company is really disappointing. My experience with their service has been awful, so I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.
