Suit for Daughter's GCSE prom
I wanted to share about my recent trip to a clothing shop where I was searching for a suit for my daughter's GCSE prom. The staff there were so lovely and helpful, especially Enrico. He really went out of his way to help us find the perfect outfit. Enrico not only helped us choose the right size suit, but he was also really friendly and easy to talk to throughout the whole process. The store manager and another team member were also really nice and gave us fantastic customer service. They even took the extra step of checking for a more suitable outfit in the back room. Overall, the whole team made our shopping trip enjoyable and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for stylish clothes and great customer service.

I needed to get some trending fashion shoes and clothing for an outing. I actually wanted some designer outfit. So I went online in search of a store I could trust to buy from. After going through all the options, I was given. I decided to shop from River Island. I placed an order for a pair of shoes, polo, and shorts. Within 48 hours, it was delivered to me and it was exactly what I wanted. The quality was impressive and the price was quite affordable. I am satisfied with River Island products and will shop with them again whenever I need any of the products that they sell. I recommend River Island to anyone looking to buy quality fashion wear and accessories.
Daughter's dress purchase
Buying clothes for someone else can be a real minefield, but the assistant in this shop made it all so easy. She really helped me pick out the ideal dress for my daughter, and I'm over the moon with it. The lady, Tommi, was just so friendly, knew her stuff, and had all the patience in the world, which made the whole thing a pleasure. She really listened to what I wanted and came up with some fab ideas. The customer service was really top-notch, and I walked out of the shop feeling really confident in my choice. I just want to say a big thank you to Tommi for all her help!
Customer service experience
I popped into the shop the other day and got help from a guy called Billy. Gotta say, Billy's the top sales assistant I've ever come across. He's not just funny, but also super helpful. Billy went out of his way to help me find the right stuff and gave me some great style tips. His amazing customer service skills really made my shopping trip a memorable one. Cute jeans 🌸
I went to buy some jeans, but the label was all messed up. Luckily, the shop assistant was really kind and managed to find me a fresh pair from the warehouse. I was over the moon and so grateful! This shop is definitely a favourite of mine 😊❤️
Bad experience at the store
The shop in London is a nightmare. Got my pockets picked by two dodgy characters, no CCTV to catch them red-handed. The staff weren't much help either. Definitely won't be going back there to shop anytime soon.
Clothing items
I had a great time shopping at River Island in Letterkenny recently. It was my second visit and I was really impressed by the customer service. The staff there were so friendly and welcoming, and they knew everything about the products they were selling. I was helped by a lovely young lady who really went out of her way to find me the perfect clothes. Her attention to detail and willingness to help made my shopping trip really special. I wish I had asked for her name so I could thank her properly for her amazing service.

I went shopping at River Island recently and I had the best help from a lovely girl named Sienna at the White Rose store in Leeds. Let me tell you, she was absolutely fantastic. Sienna really went out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for, and her customer service skills were top-notch. She was super helpful and didn't mind going the extra mile. It's people like Sienna that really make shopping a great experience.
Summer tops shopping
I went to this store the other day to buy some new summer tops and honestly, it was the best shopping experience ever! The staff there were incredibly friendly and helpful, they even offered me a personal shopping assistant who helped me try on all the new items. I bought so many tops, it was like a dream! I highly suggest going to the store early to have the ultimate shopping experience!
Mahpara is so amazing
I popped into River Island in Northampton on 4th June 2024 and Mahpara was the one who looked after me. She was really friendly and lovely, and she helped me pick out the perfect size and style. I always try to stop by when she's there because she's just so helpful and great. I wouldn't have bought anything without her. Big thanks to Mahpara!
Disappointing experience
I had a really bad experience at this store. The service was awful and I ended up losing money. The way they treated me was shocking. I recommend going somewhere else for better customer service and to avoid the stress.
XL muscle fit shirt
I was feeling positive when I bought an XL muscle fit shirt, but it ended up being too small for me. It was really difficult trying to button up those tight buttons after squeezing into it for hours. It was like a challenge to avoid getting injured by those buttons.
Helpful and approachable staff
I had a really good time at the store thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. Whenever I needed help or had questions, they were there to assist me straight away and give me all the info I needed. Especially the girl at the checkout, she really made my shopping experience so much nicer.
Click and collect experience
Using click and collect at River Island for the first time was brilliant! The staff were really helpful and walked me through everything. I was pleasantly surprised by how simple and handy it was. The store was tidy and I easily found what I needed. I'll definitely use this service again in the future.
Online return in-store
I had a really bad time at River Island the other day when I tried to return something I bought online in their store. Even though I showed them my email receipt as proof of purchase, the staff didn't believe me and said I hadn't actually paid for the items. I had to get the manager involved and prove that the things had been delivered to my house, but they still wouldn't give me back my £78. The whole thing went on for nearly an hour and I felt really embarrassed and annoyed by the end of it.
In-store purchase, order for home delivery
I popped into a shop the other day and couldn't find the right size on the shelves. The staff were so nice and offered to order it in for me at no extra cost. The store was really tidy and well laid out, with nice big changing rooms. The stock was displayed really well, so it was easy to find what I needed.
Personal assistance from staff member (Aimee)
The help I received from one of the staff members was incredible. Aimee really went out of her way to find exactly what we were looking for and even went the extra mile by ordering extra items to help us out. She's definitely a star employee for the store.
Christmas present pjyamas
I bought my little brother some pyjamas here as a Christmas present, but unfortunately, they ended up being more suitable for summer. They felt really nice and soft initially, but after he wore them a few times, they began to fall apart. It's been 6 months now and they are pretty much useless! I reckon that even if something is only worn a handful of times, it shouldn't be tearing and falling apart.
Returned item not processed
I returned an item but I'm still getting charged for it. Customer service is making it really hard to get my refund, even though I've given them all the info they need. It's been a right letdown, the product was rubbish and the service was no help at all. I won't be shopping here again.
