    Address mix-up, no refund

    Funny thing — the parcel turned into someone else's problem. I entered the right address for my home office, but they printed the wrong details so it came straight back. I was looking forward to it, they won't refund me. They say a refund was issued (only visible on their side), but I see nothing. When I tried to mark it as 'not received' they asked for my card details and to agree to pay fees if they claim delivery. Not great.

    Mixed bag, honestly

    Unboxed this evening and nearly spat my tea — they sent fewer bits than I ordered and the helpline made me wait ages for a robotic reply. Properly sceptical after that, I braced for cheap rubbish. Weirdly, the items I did get feel solid in the hand and have been genuinely useful around the house already.     Kept coming back, but refunds an annoyance

    a missing Christmas item was refunded in a couple of days, and one cancelled order was back in my account next day. But then another cancellation from 16-Dec took ages; their refund window said 1-Jan to 19-Jan and I’m still waiting. So yeah, not perfect, money was tight then, but overall usable, just sometimes a bit slow on refunds, though.

They (Sarah Mart) emailed twice saying I’d get a FULL refund — but that never actually happened, they just kept stalling with vague emails and it got tiring. Save every message, honestly; screenshots, copies, the lot. Pay on a credit card if you can, because when I opened a dispute the card company pulled the money back and it was in my account within ten days, which actually surprised me. That bit was the unexpected upside in an otherwise annoying process. One agent did seem oddly helpful for a moment, so there are small bright spots, but overall I’d want clearer replies and an easier returns label. Be ready to chase them.

    Don’t expect a straight refund

    I followed their refund steps and didn’t get my money back. I destroyed the product as instructed, took clear photos from different angles, sent everything in time and kept copies of all emails. Their answer? A short message saying the product wasn’t destroyed — with no evidence and no explanation of how they reached that conclusion. That’s the conclusion, now the why. I asked them to show what they based it on, asked for timestamps, asked them to point out what was supposedly missing in my photos. All I got was the same refusal repeated and the case closed. The whole exchange wasted a few weeks of my time. The tone from support was curt and uninterested rather than helpful. It wasn’t rude per se, but it felt like they weren’t prepared to look at what I’d sent. Practically speaking, that means you need to be ready to push back: save everything, screenshot every page, copy filenames and dates, and be prepared to take it up with your bank or dispute centre if they won’t budge. I’m annoyed — mostly by the needless hassle rather than the money itself — and I’m thinking of a formal complaint if they don’t re-open the file. A simple transparent explanation from them would have sorted this; instead it’s been opaque and slow. Advice to others: don’t rely on their promises without independent proof, and don’t expect quick, honest answers. If you value your time, consider a different seller.

    Clothing purchase satisfaction

    I've always been really pleased with the stuff I bought from this online shop where I used to get all my clothes. The clothes were top quality and there were loads to choose from to suit all sorts of styles and tastes. The website was dead easy to use, and I never had any trouble finding what I wanted.     I really enjoy using this app because the delivery is so quick, even quicker than other international shopping sites. The only problem is the delivery company they use, evri/Hermes. My last three purchases didn't arrive because evri messed up. It's not SaraMart's fault, it's all on that awful company evri. The customer service team assured me they would resend one of my orders, but I'm still waiting on the other two.

    Lots of presents, over £170

    Oh my goodness, I ordered loads of stuff for presents, didn't I? Spent over £170! Some bits have arrived, but Evri lost the most important parcel 🙄. I contacted the company about it on 18th December and they said they'd sort it out, but it's now 4th January and I haven't heard anything! They even sent the wrong size football top and haven't fixed that yet. Customer service is absolutely rubbish!
