I rang the publisher and after a bit of back-and-forth they combined and reactivated everything as a proper three-year subscription. That's the moment I felt relieved and actually pleased. It's not perfect though; the ad made it sound like a single continuous licence and there's no clear activation guide. Works fine now, just tidy up the info and save people the faff.

    Odd Windows experience

    Worth every penny

    Misleading listing, decent install

    I bought this because I needed to edit a report quickly — can't bend over to go into the office with a dodgy back, so having Word was really handy. The download and install went fine, no fuss. But it won't let you actually edit or create docs unless you shell out for Microsoft 365. Customer service were vague and a bit evasive, almost blaming me for it.     Decent price, but watch the compatibility faff

    Tea, edits and a snag

    I was halfway through a cup of tea when Photoshop Elements opened a batch of holiday snaps and I knew it was worth it. I use it most days — quick edits for school projects, putting photos into family albums — and Elements made it painless. Premier Elements, however, balked at older project files from Elements 15, wouldn’t load audio or some clips and just sat there. I tried to get a refund but discovered downloaded software can’t be cancelled; small print I’d missed. Bit annoying, but Photoshop is useful.

    Runs nicely, but not on my PC

    Installed it last week and my laptop practically sighed. I’d assumed it would run on Windows 11 — my bad, but the listing didn’t shout the limits. On my old Windows 10 machine it boots fast, feels snappy and the layout is simple, so I could actually use it and was relieved. Tried to get my money back because my main PC is Win11. No luck.     Long code, small print — but it works

    Overall I'd use Blitzhandel again, but that code thing annoyed me. I first spotted it on their website after a mate recommended them, and the moment I looked at the label I sighed — one continuous 64-character jumble of letters and numbers, tiny font, no breaks. Oddly enough, the only saving grace was that they used zeros, not capital Os or lowercase o's, which made reading slightly less of a nightmare. If they'd split the string into chunks and increased the font it would save people time and mistakes. Once installed the software ran smoothly though — pleasantly surprised by that. Small fixes would make it much better.

    Wrong key, right workaround

    I bought Photoshop Elements because I run a small photo-editing side hustle and, with a dodgy back, I needed something that lets me knock out edits quickly without faffing about. Download arrived fine with a product key, but the installer hit error 183 and died at about 30% — turns out that’s a known clash with PE2023 on my Win11 setup.     Short-lived purchase, long fallout
