Pendant light fixture
I bought this really gorgeous pendant light from this company and I'm so pleased with my choice. I was really happy with how quickly and professionally they handled everything when I placed my order. The light is even better in real life than it looked in the pictures online. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived a day earlier than I thought it would, and their communication about the delivery was really clear and helpful. All in all, I'm really happy with my experience and I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this company to other people.
Sofa delivered promptly
I got my new sofa from Holloways of Ludlow and I have to say, I was really impressed with the whole experience. The delivery came right on time, within the 2-hour slot they gave me, which doesn't often happen with other companies. I chose to go with their delivery team, Matt and his son, and I was really happy with how professional and friendly they were. The service they gave was outstanding and really top quality. I would definitely recommend Holloways for their great products, fantastic service, and amazing delivery team.
New lights for my bedroom
Wow, the service in this place is absolutely fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Antony who went above and beyond to assist me. It's really nice that the store is a family-run business because you can see how much they genuinely value their customers. The Bath store was equally great, they were so attentive to all my needs. And top it off, they have the most amazing selection of products! It's like a dream shopping here. Forget about the other shops, this place is definitely the best!
Garden Furniture
I recently bought some garden furniture from Holloways of Ludlow and I have to say, I'm really happy with the whole thing. The delivery was on time and the delivery people were really professional and friendly. They even unpacked the furniture and got rid of the packaging, which was a nice surprise. The quality of the furniture was even better than I expected and I'm really pleased with what I got. I also liked the little touch of including Christmas hats. All in all, it was a smooth and nice shopping experience.
Lighting fixture
I ordered a lighting fixture on the 2nd of March. I have to say, I'm pretty let down by the lack of communication about when it will be delivered. I've tried getting in touch multiple times, and every time I've been told the courier will contact me within 2 weeks. It's now the 26th of April, and I still haven't heard anything. It's really frustrating and disappointing to have no idea when my order will arrive.
Bought a cool table
I recently bought a fantastic table from this place and it was just amazing! The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help me. They made sure I got exactly what I needed and even double-checked with the manufacturers to ensure everything matched perfectly. The delivery team were also great and did a fantastic job! I'm thrilled with my table and have already placed more orders with them. Honestly, the best customer service I've ever experienced!
Eos garden furniture purchase
Our new Eos garden furniture from H.o.L is absolutely amazing! We were so excited when the products arrived yesterday, they were even better than we expected. And the service we got from the sales team, despatch/warehouse, and delivery team was incredible. A big shoutout to Matt and his assistant for being so punctual and helpful - it was like welcoming back an old friend. The personal touch and service we receive from H.o.L is truly unbeatable. Garden furniture delivery
I just have to say, the service I got this morning from the delivery team at this place was top-notch. Matt and his mate were so professional and quick, it was really impressive. They sent out my order from the warehouse straight away and it got to me way sooner than expected. The best part was how well they managed to get up to my roof terrace on the 6th floor without messing up my walls or furniture. I'm really thankful for all their hard work.
Dining table and chairs
I recently got a new dining table and chairs from this store, and I have to say, they're really nice. The delivery guy, Matt, is honestly the nicest bloke I've ever met. He made sure to put my stuff in a safe place and even texted me instead of knocking on my door super early in the morning. There was only one occasion when the delivery was delayed, but that was due to a motorway crash. Overall, everything turned out fine in the end.
Dining table purchase
You don't need to search anywhere else! I bought a dining table from this place recently, and I have to say, it was a truly amazing experience. Manuele de Lisio really knows his stuff when it comes to furniture design and products. He kept me well informed and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. I will definitely be coming back for any other furniture I may need in the future. Thanks a lot, Manuele!
Kitchen light
I fancied buying this really cool kitchen light online, but just as I was about to pay, it said free delivery. However, the next day they got in touch asking for more money for delivery! How cheeky is that? To top it off, they claimed it would take 21 days to refund me the extra cash they demanded. It's a bit of a laugh, really! I do wonder what they're up to with my £375 they initially took. Not cool at all, guys!
Kitchen counter stool order
I got in touch with them when the lockdown hit, looking for some counter stools. They connected me with Manuele, who was really helpful in finding the right stools, checking if they were in stock, and organising delivery in less than two weeks. The customer service was fantastic, they kept me informed at every step of the way.
Finn Juhl Sofa purchase
I bought a Finn Juhl Sofa from this shop recently and honestly, I was really let down by the whole experience. I had specifically arranged a delivery time with the company because we live on a narrow lane and needed a small van for the sofa. But when delivery day came, an enormous 18-tonne truck showed up at 3pm, causing so much hassle. I had to take a whole day off work for the delivery, only to then have to take an extra afternoon off when they sent the wrong truck. Even though I tried to make things easier for the delivery, the driver couldn't manage the lane and wouldn't use a trolley to help bring the sofa to my house. So, my son and I had to carry the sofa 300m in the middle of a storm, getting ourselves and the sofa completely soaked. On top of it all, when I complained, the response was really unhelpful and dismissive, leaving me feeling really frustrated and let down.
Recent delayed order
I recently ordered something from Holloways of Ludlow, and it's been quite a wait. What was meant to take 4-6 weeks has turned into 3 long months. I found out that a friend ordered the same thing from a different company and got it quickly. I asked about my order and was told it would be delayed by another 1.5 months, which was pretty annoying. So, I asked for a refund, which they agreed to, but it's been over a week and I still haven't got it. I'm disappointed with how they've handled things and it's got me wondering if they're really that reliable. Next time, I might pay a bit more for a service I can trust.
Light fixture for kitchen renovation
I bought a light fixture from this company for my kitchen reno project. I made the order on 12th October 2023 and sadly had a lot of problems with the status updates and customer service. After waiting for 10 days without any updates, I got in touch with customer service to ask about the shipment. They took a whole day to reply and just told me they were still waiting to hear back from the supplier. More than a week later, I contacted customer service two more times to check, but I didn't get any response at all. After waiting for nearly 4 weeks, I had to go to my bank and open a dispute to get my money back. It was really disappointing how little the company communicated and how untransparent they were.
Palisade Ottoman and Dining Bench
I just bought the Palisade Ottoman and Dining Bench, and I have to say, the customer service was top-notch. Ursula Langley helped me with my purchase, giving me all the info I needed and patiently answering my questions. It was obvious she cared about her job and did everything possible to make sure I was happy. I couldn't have asked for better service, so thank you Ursula!
Bathroom parts
I recently bought some bathroom parts from this place and I needed assistance finding more because some broke after a lot of use. The lady named Lily was a great help! She knew everything about the codes and models. She was so friendly and helpful. We actually got our bathrooms from this place 7 years ago and everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
