    eSIM purchase for Southeast Asia travel

    I've been travelling quite a bit to countries like Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam and I recently decided to try using an eSIM from a service provider instead of buying SIM cards on Amazon. My experience with the eSIM was mostly positive, but I did notice that the signal strength was different depending on the country. In places like Vietnam and Laos where the signal isn't great, I found it hard to stay connected at times. However, when I was in Thailand, the signal was much better. It got me thinking that maybe the signal quality depends more on the local network infrastructure rather than the eSIM itself. It might be a better option for travellers in places with poor signal like Laos and Vietnam to buy a SIM card in each country. Even in remote areas like the mountains of Laos, the locals didn't seem to have any trouble making calls on their phones, making me wonder if a local SIM card would have given me a better connection. In the end, I was left with more questions than answers about the eSIM and how it performs in different regions.

    I've been traveling to five different countries recently and I had to sort out a good SIM card for my trip.     I bought a Colombian eSIM from this site not too long ago and I have to say, it really impressed me when I was in Colombia. I used it in big cities like Medellin, Bogota, and Cartagena, as well as in a more isolated spot like Palomino, and the connection was always quick and dependable. Surprisingly, even in Palomino, where you might not think the signal would be great, the eSIM worked better than I thought it would. All in all, I definitely suggest this eSIM for anyone travelling.

    I recently bought an Esim from their website and it was a total disaster. The service from their partner was terrible and caused me a lot of trouble during my trip to Chile. Even after showing proof of their bad behaviour, getting a refund was still difficult. I would advise against using the website or their partner again in the future.

    I got an eSIM for my trip to Egypt, it cost me just 7USD for 1GB which was so cheap and it worked great the whole time I was there. Unfortunately, it stopped working on my last day but luckily the Airalo support team was really helpful and fixed the issue for me. I'll definitely be using them again for my future trips.

    I bought an eSIM from this provider not too long ago, but I regret to say it turned out to be a waste of money. I had a go at installing the eSIM in three different ways, however, each time I tried, I was met with an error message saying the sim was not valid and advised to contact the provider. When I got in touch with customer service for some help, they just told me to try installing it again in the same way I'd already attempted. I made it clear that I had tried numerous times on different devices, but unfortunately, they couldn't offer any more assistance or solutions. All in all, I must say the whole experience left me feeling very frustrated and let down.

    eSIM for use on Thailand mobile phone during trip to Malaysia

    I bought an eSIM from this service for my phone in Thailand to use while I was in Malaysia. The setup was easy, but when I got to Malaysia, I had trouble getting it activated. Even though my phone showed it was connected to the right networks, the eSIM wouldn't work. The app kept saying it wasn't activated, even though I followed all the instructions carefully. I tried asking for help through the app, but didn't get any response. I was disappointed with how things went, and I realised that my Thai service provider's roaming package was actually cheaper than the eSIM. So, I decided to just use that for my trip instead. Overall, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this service.

    My recent experience of buying ESIMs in Cyprus using the platform was really disappointing. I tried to activate 2 ESIMs on my Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus, but I faced lots of problems that I couldn't solve. The help I got on WhatsApp wasn't useful at all - they just sent a long troubleshooting guide in the chat which wasn't helpful when I needed internet straight away on my holiday. It was annoying that I had to download the Mobimatter app in the end, which worked perfectly in no time, showing how ineffective Airalo's support system is.

    I recently got an eSIM card from this company and I've got to say, I've been really let down by the whole thing. The internet from the eSIM card was always letting me down, with times when I just couldn't get any service at all. Even though I made sure to switch off my regular service, I still got messages telling me about charges for using my regular service when I wasn't at home. This meant I ended up with bills I wasn't expecting and extra costs I wasn't ready for. On top of that, when I tried to top up my eSIM card, I had problems with the payment and kept getting reminders to top up even after I'd already paid. The customer service from the company wasn't much good either, taking ages to sort out a refund for a small amount they said they owed me. The messages about the refund were confusing and all over the place, leaving me annoyed and disappointed with the whole thing. Even though they said sorry quickly, the company's bad service and inefficiency have given me a really bad view of them and I can't recommend them to anyone else.

    I wouldn't suggest using this service to buy an international eSIM. My experience wasn't great. I had problems setting up and activating it, which was really annoying.     Airalo esim card for travel

    I gave the Airalo esim card a go for my trip to Latin America, but sadly, it never seemed to work. I've got a Samsung S23FE phone, which should be all good with the esim card. However, no matter how many times I tried to get it going, my phone just kept on repeating "no esim card found." I got in touch with Airalo Support for some help, and they sent over some detailed instructions for me to follow. I made sure to follow them step by step, but the options that were meant to show up to activate and install the esim card just didn't appear on my Samsung S23FE. It was really frustrating because I was so excited to use the esim card for my trip, but in the end, I wasn't able to use it at all.

    I bought the eSIM in New Zealand for my trip to Europe but had trouble activating it. The instructions were really confusing and hard to follow. When I tried to get help through Chat, the response was unhelpful and impossible to understand. On top of that, I couldn't get a refund without sending them a bunch of screenshots from my phone that I didn't know how to take. I usually find technology easy to navigate, but Airalo really baffled me. I would recommend avoiding this service unless you're a tech expert.
