    Refund for Business Flexible Ticket

    After weeks of feeling completely frustrated and getting absolutely nowhere when trying to get a refund for my Business Flexible Ticket by phoning different Iberia Callcentres, I thought I'd give it a shot by reaching out to their social media team on Facebook Messenger. Much to my amazement, they got back to me pretty quickly and reassured me that they would sort out the problem. And guess what? They actually did! The very next day, I got an email confirming that the refund had been processed. It's clear to see that the social media team at Iberia know how to get things done and are a lot more focused on keeping their customers happy compared to their call centres.

    Trip cancellation

    I wanted to tell you about my experience with this website customer service. Last year I left a bad review after struggling to change my email address. But today I have to say they were absolutely amazing when I had to cancel a trip due to a family emergency. Even though my ticket didn't allow for changes or refunds, they gave me a voucher straight away. I just wanted to say thank you for being so understanding, it really meant a lot to me!

    IBERIA is perfect holiday provider, at least what I found around the around. I found perfect holiday packages with a lot of exciting places.
    I have got a lot of holiday providers, Iberia promises quite an assurance related to holiday services, customer assistance, high-end packages, variety .
    Iberia arranges perfect holiday vacations, they have lot of places to offer.

    Refund request for cancelled flight

    I had to cancel a flight from Rome to Madrid on 06/06/2024 because of some unexpected stuff, and I asked the airline for a refund. The customer service in Colombia was top-notch. They got back to me quickly, and the staff were really nice and polite the whole time. I was really impressed by how well they handled everything.

    Flight ticket experience

    I just don't understand why this airline is always trying to bump passengers down a class. They don't seem to play by the same rules as other airlines! It's really not cool, Iberia, really not cool at all. It feels like they're just in it for the money and don't care about us passengers. I paid for a certain seat but ended up with one that was much worse. That's just not right, is it? I definitely won't be flying with them again.

    London to Casablanca flight

    My experience with that airline was absolutely awful. As soon as I got on the plane, it was obvious that customer service wasn't their top concern. The staff were unfriendly and not paying attention, which made the whole trip a nightmare. To top it off, my luggage got damaged despite extra security measures. It's been a real struggle trying to get the airline to respond or sort this out. And the charges for extra luggage weight were way too high, which was just the cherry on top. I definitely wouldn't recommend flying with them.

    Flight experience with Iberia

    My first time flying with them went well, but the way back was a nightmare. The journey from Berlin to Santiago via Madrid was fine, no problems at all. However, the return trip from Montevideo to Berlin via Madrid was a disaster - we had over five hours of delays and ended up in Sao Paulo because of "technical issues." It was a long night, but eventually we managed to get into a hotel. The next morning, with the help of another passenger and the telephone service in Madrid, we changed our flight to BA through London. It took us a whole extra day to finally get back to Berlin.

    Long-haul flight experience

    I was pretty disappointed with my recent long-haul flight with that airline. The staff on board didn't seem to know much about the food they were serving, which made my dining experience not great. They also didn't seem to really care about making sure passengers were comfortable and well taken care of during the journey. Although the facilities on board were alright, the bad service from the staff really made the flight feel not so great overall. Because of this experience, I'm not sure if I'd want to fly with this airline on a long-haul route again in the future.

    Frequent flier program

    I had a really bad time dealing with the customer support team at this airline. I was just trying to change my email address for the frequent flyer program. I tried many times and waited for months, but still no solution. The communication was poor and they weren't efficient in fixing such a simple problem. I'm frustrated and now I'm doubting the airline's reliability. It's not ok to have such a long delay in updating basic customer information. This whole experience has definitely put me off.

    International flight experience

    I went on an international flight not too long ago, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a rip-off! I had to fork out more than $100 just to check in a bag, and the price of a meal was through the roof. And if you didn't buy a meal, you had to sit there watching everyone else chow down while you went hungry. To top it off, the flight attendants didn't even give me a second glance, let alone have a chat. It was as if I was treated like a nobody!

    Delayed baggage, damaged item

    My luggage went missing for a whole two weeks, and when it eventually turned up, something inside was broken! Sorting out all the paperwork was such a pain and really confusing. The folks on the phone were pleasant enough, but nothing seemed to actually be sorted. Ugh, I can't believe this is still going on!

    Seat reservation issues

    On two different occasions, I had some issues with seat reservations when flying with the airline. The first time, there was a last-minute change in the plane we were supposed to be on, and me and my friend ended up sitting far away from each other. Then, on another flight with American Airlines, I had to fork out an extra $90 just to reserve seats on an Iberia flight. These incidents have really made me unhappy with the airline, so I would advise others to think twice before using their services.

    Flights booking issues

    I recently tried to leave a complaint on the website about my combined flights but couldn't as the mandatory fields required a booking code and ticket number. The problem is, if your first flight is with another partner, you won't have the ticket number. Additionally, the special meal service selection was not working as the spinner kept spinning, and I couldn't select a meal after multiple attempts on different days. The Gastrobar feature also gave me an "oops error" message, rendering it useless. Moreover, if you choose a seat for one flight segment and then try to select a seat for another segment, you are unable to cancel your previous choice - you either pay for both or none. These technical issues made my overall experience frustrating and time-consuming.

    Flight upgrade

    I upgraded my flight recently to have more comfort, but all I got was basic service. I didn't even get the things they promised like assigned seats, and to make it worse, the refund I got was less than what I paid for the upgrade. I complained multiple times, but the customer service team didn't do a good job at sorting out the problem or offering any compensation for the hassle and stress they caused. Their excuse for messing up was wrong, and their apologies didn't seem genuine. I was just left feeling let down and annoyed at how unprofessional and uncaring the company was.

    Delayed flight compensation

    It's just ridiculous how this airline deals with compensation for delayed flights. My flight got cancelled, and they said they'd compensate me for the hassle. But when I put in claims for everyone in my group, they only paid out for three out of five. I've been chasing them for the remaining money for six months now, and all I get is excuses. They say they've already paid it, but can't show me any evidence or even tell me when it was sent. It's just not right how they're treating their customers like this.
