    Flight experience with good seating and service

    My recent flight with the airline was actually quite good. I booked economy seats, and it was a nice surprise to find out I could choose good seats without paying extra. Being a tall person, I always worry about legroom on flights, but I had plenty of space on this trip. The food was hot and tasty, and the flight attendants were really attentive, making sure passengers had water regularly. However, I was a bit let down when I found out the return flights were with a different airline. The experience with Iberia wasn't as great - the flight was cramped, only one toilet was working, the food wasn't great, and we had to pay extra to choose our seats. It was clear that the service and quality were quite different from what I experienced with LATAM. Nevertheless, I was really happy with LATAM's service. Unfortunately, one of my bags was damaged during the journey, but the airline is helping me out with getting a replacement.

    Flight booking assistance and customer service

    I got in touch with your customer service team recently because I was having some trouble with booking my flight on your website. I needed to change my return flight from SCL to LHR, but I couldn't add a payment card to the booking. The customer service rep I spoke to was really helpful and polite. They sorted out both of my problems quickly, so I could make the changes to my booking easily. I'm really grateful for the fantastic help I received from your airline team.

    Always a great experience with LATAM airlines

    LATAM airlines have been always a great experience provider for me.
    They have modern state of art aircraft. I have two journeys with LATAM. I usually fly to Brazil for my mama who lives there, in every two months.
    So for few last months, I chose LATAM, I must say it was totally great experience, the price is even not much to bother about in comparison.
    Bookings, services, journey and other paper works are quite easy with them.

    I had a flight booked but had to cancel because of a little accident at home. The airline refunded me the whole amount of the flight really quickly, in less than 24 hours. The staff were so nice and really efficient! I've flown with this airline a lot in the past and they've always been great, but this time they were just fantastic, definitely 10 out of 10! I'll definitely be booking with them again for my next trip.

    Misleading flight information

    This airline is an absolute rip-off! I booked a direct flight, only to end up having to take a connecting flight instead - not a big deal to me, but what really got to me was being told I needed to buy new seats because of the change in flights. And to make matters worse, I was assured I would get a refund for the original seats purchase, only for the airline to backtrack, cancel my refund requests, ask for new ones, and then not give me the money they owed. It's like they feel they can just rob passengers and get away with it! Completely unacceptable and totally scandalous. How can a supposedly reputable company treat customers this way? 300 passengers are £100 poorer each, that's £30,000 LATAM has basically swiped from us without batting an eyelid. I strongly advise anyone thinking about booking with this airline to reconsider and be ready to fight for what's rightfully theirs. Keep your distance from LATAM, unless you like being conned and fed lies.

    Premium economy ticket purchase

    I recently bought a premium economy ticket for a return flight with this airline and I have to say, it was a total letdown. The food they gave us was awful and there were hardly any drinks to choose from. And to top it off, my luggage got damaged during the journey. When I tried to let them know about it through WhatsApp like they said on the website, the person I spoke to, Laura, was really unprofessional and told me lies. She said I was too late in reporting the damage, even though I did what they asked me to. All in all, my time with this airline was just awful.

    I tried to change my flight online, but I came across so many errors. When I called the hotline, there was a language barrier and I had to wait for ages. I ended up going to the airport office in the end, where they did sort out the problem, but it cost me a lot. The only good thing was meeting a very helpful lady called Gabriele.

    Luggage lost on flight

    I recently flew with this airline and can you believe it? They actually lost my luggage! I mean, come on, how does that even happen? It's been a whole week now and my stuff is nowhere to be found. They keep sending me emails saying it's at the airport (but conveniently unable to deliver it to my hotel) and when I went to pick it up, surprise surprise, it wasn't there. I've lodged complaints everywhere, even reaching out to the CEO, but it seems like they just don't give a darn. So, if you want to ensure the safety of your belongings, you might want to reconsider booking with this airline.

    Missed flight due to staff error

    Well, my family and I were at the airport in Costa Rica, all set to board the plane. We made it to the gate on time, but the staff closed the door early and were just on their phones. Then, there's this lady called Flori Java who wouldn't let us on the plane because she messed up the takeoff time. So, we missed our flight and connection in Lima because of her mistake. And when they asked us to pay a penalty and price difference, it was just ridiculous! To make matters worse, when we tried to get help, the agent just left without offering any solution. We ended up waiting in the boarding area for a whole 24 hours all because of their mess-up.

    Flight booking issue

    I had a bit of a nightmare recently when trying to book flights with an airline that flies from Santiago to Sydney, making a stop in Auckland. Turns out, they didn't bother telling me that most passengers need a "transit visa", which meant my son and his family couldn't catch their original flight from Bogota to Sydney via Santiago. What a mess! Had to fork out an extra $3400 to get them re-booked, over and above the $5500 I already spent. Even though there were empty seats on both flights, the airline just refused to let them on, causing a whole lot of unnecessary stress and financial strain. The fact that they weren't upfront about all this has really left a bad taste in my mouth - it's like they were trying to pull a fast one. I won't be flying with them again, that's for sure, and I'd advise others to be careful about hidden requirements when booking with them.

    Long wait at airport

    It was a complete nightmare! They abandoned us at the airport for a whole day with no compensation. They had no idea where our bags were and kept making excuses to avoid owning up to their mistakes. In Sao Paulo, we had to wait in line for 10 Latam staff just to get rebooked. You can imagine how a 22-hour flight turned into a 44-hour ordeal. It was awful, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone else.

    Delayed response and poor customer service

    My experience with the airline was a total nightmare. They took ages to get back to me when I had questions, and when I finally managed to reach someone to make changes and give my payment info, they just hung up on me. I've spent more than 10 hours on WhatsApp and calls with them. The customer service was shockingly awful, it was a real struggle to deal with them. I'm definitely going to make a complaint. One thing's for sure, I won't be booking a flight with them again.

    Booking a flight with connecting flights

    I booked a flight with layovers in a few places and it was a nightmare. They made me check my hand luggage because they wanted to fill the flights without room for everyone's bags. My bag ended up going straight to my final destination, so I had to spend 24 hours wearing the clothes I had on. It was really frustrating, to be honest.

    I can't believe what a nightmare this airline is! They cancelled my flight at the last minute, leaving me completely stranded.     Lost bag, terrible service, bad company

    This company managed to lose my suitcase and didn't even make an effort to assist me in locating it for a whole 10 days! They repeatedly claimed they had found it, and then suddenly changed their tune. I attempted to explain that it contained vital medication, but my words fell on deaf ears. It's quite clear that they don't give a darn about their customers. They seem to think they're superior to everyone else simply because there isn't any competition. They come across as arrogant, lethargic, and disinterested in their own responsibilities. I implore you, please steer clear of this lamentable company.
