Celebration weekend with friends
The weekend we spent at this hotel was absolutely brilliant. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a really modern feel to it. The staff were amazing, they really went above and beyond to make sure our group of 17 had everything we needed. The food was delicious, the party night was so much fun with a really great band, and the whole atmosphere was just perfect for a celebration. The spa was fantastic value for money, and I had the best massage ever there. The pool, steam room, sauna, and whirlpool were all looked after really well and gave us a really relaxing experience. The staff even gave us slippers and robes for our spa visit, along with lovely thick towels and top-quality toiletries in our rooms. They made sure our whole group was on the same floor, so we were all close together. We had the same table for breakfast and dinner, which made our dining even better. We also had a meal at the sister hotel, where the staff were just as attentive and accommodating. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its friendly staff and how they really went out of their way to make our stay special.
I love the hotel services
I got to Scotland a month ago for a vacation. I was staying with a friend. However, her mom called that she would like to come over to her place for a few days. I had to leave because the place would not be convenient. I looked around for a comfortable place I could manage till her mom goes back. Then I found PeeblesHydro. Their services were outstanding. I got so in love with their spa services. Their prices were inexpensive. I booked a room and other services. I love their meals. When my friend's mom left I told my friend I would love to spend a few more days at the hotel before returning back home.
Amazing workshop experience
My mate and I went to this really cool workshop at this place and it was amazing! The person who helped us organise everything was really friendly and the manager of the place even made sure everything was going smoothly. The food was delicious, especially at lunchtime. We even had a tour of a distillery, which was pretty cool. The workshop room was spacious and had the most incredible views. The bedrooms were large and really luxurious as well. The restaurant food was of the highest quality. Overall, it was the best workshop venue we've ever been to. I'm looking forward to going back!
Weekend conference stay
I went to a weekend conference at this wonderful place and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were really friendly and helpful, making sure all our requirements were taken care of during our stay. My room had amazing views of the stunning scenery around the hotel, making for a calm and soothing environment. The food was top-notch and the entertainment was fun and interesting. As someone who was there for the first time, I was really impressed by the great service and facilities provided, and I can't wait to go back soon.
Stay at a picturesque location
I recently stayed at this lovely hotel and, to be honest, I had mixed feelings about it. The location was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, I was a bit let down by some things during my stay. The food was okay, but I felt it could have been better in terms of quality and variety. The lounge area didn't really have that cosy vibe I was looking for, and the gin bar wasn't quite up to scratch either. On the bright side, the hotel itself was charming, with cosy rooms and staff who were always ready to help.
Golden Wedding Anniversary Stay
My partner and I booked a two-night stay at a hotel to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. The view from our room was not great, just an old roof and dirty windows covered in cobwebs. Despite the comfortable bed and lovely breakfast, we didn't feel it was worth staying another night. So, we decided to check out early and wouldn't really recommend this hotel to anyone else.
Weekend getaway
I had an amazing weekend getaway at this place. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, making me feel great as soon as I got there. The food was delicious, the facilities were big and beautiful, and the view from my room was absolutely stunning. My room was spotless and nicely decorated, not like the usual boring hotel room. I splurged on a hot stone massage and facial, which were so relaxing. Everyone I met there was really wonderful and made my stay even better. Thanks for an incredible experience!
Stayed at the magical place
We visited this fantastic place that I used to go to as a child for a holiday. I brought my family over from Australia for a few days and we had a great time! The hotel was lovely, the food was delicious (I couldn't resist!), and there were plenty of exciting activities to enjoy. My kids had a blast at the dancing parties. However, the standout was the staff! They were extremely friendly, supportive, and made us feel truly valued. I really do hope that we can return there one day.
Stay at a hotel
I've just got back from a weekend at this hotel for my friend's wedding. It was absolutely fantastic - the staff, food, venue, rooms, and facilities were all top-notch. I want to give a special mention to John for his amazing service; he really went above and beyond. The owners should definitely give him a pay rise. Overall, I had a fantastic weekend at this hotel and I will definitely return in the future. Thanks a lot.
Awesome weekend
I had a fantastic weekend at this amazing place. The staff were really friendly and made the trip extra special. The kids club team were so much fun, and the restaurant staff were really lovely too. But the highlight was definitely Tracey at the front desk, she was absolutely amazing! We had such a wonderful time that we're already spreading the word to our friends and looking forward to going back!
Weekend stays for training events<br>
My experience at the hotel during weekend training events wasn't great because of all the noisy events and lack of vegetarian options. The first time I stayed, my room was in the basement and there was loud music playing until 1 am, so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. The second time, there was a student ball causing a lot of noise late into the night, despite staff trying to calm things down. The poor noise insulation meant that even after being told to keep it down, the noise persisted, making it really hard to relax. The limited vegetarian meal choices for dinner were disappointing, with the same two options lacking in protein both times. Lunch was okay and the views were nice, but the whole experience was spoilt by the noise and lack of variety in vegetarian meals.
Hotel stay at a scenic location
The views from the front of the hotel and entrance were absolutely stunning. But as I went further inside, I couldn't help but notice the tired-looking carpets that definitely needed replacing. The people at the reception desk were nice and helpful, but the rooms were quite small and the water pressure in the shower was really weak. The prices for drinks were just too high, and our meal at The Grill wasn't very pleasant - it felt more like a school canteen than a nice dinner out. We ended up eating at Peebles on two other evenings, which was a much better experience. On top of all that, the hotel had some noisy events over the weekend, causing disruptions and even some arguments. The parking situation was not great, and our Segway booking for my mum's birthday was a big disappointment when it was suddenly cancelled without any explanation.
Overnight stay at a spa hotel
My husband and I had a really disappointing experience at the hotel we stayed at recently. It all started when we checked in and they charged an extra £50 to my card, which still hasn't been refunded nearly two weeks later. We didn't have any other charges, so we're really confused about where our money went. And, to make things even worse, I ended up being charged twice for a spa treatment that I had already paid for upfront. The hotel staff's response was pretty poor - they said they would look into it, but we haven't seen any progress. The service we received was just not up to scratch and it's left a bad taste in our mouths. We definitely won't be staying at that hotel again in the future.
Spa break
I recently went on a spa break with my family, but we had some issues with the room and dinner vouchers. We wanted to upgrade to a family room, but they said no, so we had to get another room. The hotel is a bit old and could do with a makeover, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves. The staff weren't very helpful, and it took a lot of back and forth to sort out our dinner vouchers. I would recommend looking for a nicer hotel nearby instead!
Dinner bed and breakfast booking
I booked a reservation at this place for dinner, bed, and breakfast on a certain date, but my time there wasn't great at all. The room they gave me was right in the middle of a construction zone, and the noise kept me up from 10pm to 1am. I tried talking to the reception a few times, but they didn't really fix the problem, which left me feeling annoyed and let down. Even though they advertised a peaceful atmosphere, my stay was far from relaxing. The only good thing was the staff in the dining room - they were really helpful. On the whole, my experience was pretty much a let-down because of how poorly the place was managed.
My stay at the hotel
My room was really dusty and definitely not luxurious. I had to speak to a lot of managers, and the last one was really rude. The customer service wasn't very helpful either. The leisure area and gym were full of mould and just gross. It was definitely not a pleasant experience!
Weekend stay
We had a great weekend - went for some lovely walks and the gin experience was absolutely spot on, all thanks to that friendly and knowledgeable young lad. Just a little tip for the service staff, it would be nice if they made a bit more eye contact and chatted more with us guests. Just remember to take it easy and enjoy yourself while you're at it.

I stayed at this place for a night recently and honestly, it was pretty terrible. The room was just about passable, but definitely not worth the price. The service was a disaster, the staff were so unfriendly. The prices were through the roof for what you actually get. And let me tell you, the food delivery was a joke, it took absolutely ages. All in all, it was not a good experience at all.
Overpriced hotel experience
My stay at that hotel wasn't great. The prices were way too high for what you got. The rooms were old and needed fixing up. It was obvious that the hotel wasn't as good as it used to be. Trying to arrange activities while I was there was a real pain. The staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all, which made the service really bad and disappointing.
