Oban, Glencoe, Lochs & Castles day tour
My husband and I recently went on the Oban, Glencoe, Highland Lochs & Castles day tour from Glasgow, and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing. Our guide, Tom, was not just any guide - he was funny, charming, and had so many interesting stories that kept us entertained the whole way. He shared historical facts and fun trivia about food and drink, so we learned a lot. The scenery, lakes, and castles we saw were stunning, and we were really amazed by Scotland's natural beauty. Oh, and the lunch stop in Oban was fantastic - Tom's recommendation led us to a great meal at a local restaurant. The tour van was great, with seats you could adjust and USB plugs for our convenience. Plus, the guide's microphone meant we didn't miss a thing, no matter where we sat. This tour went above and beyond our expectations, and we're already thinking about our next trip with them. I highly recommend it!
Enjoyable experience with them
A member booked us for a group trip on Rabbies Tours. We had to rebuke him for doing that without our consent. He didn't even tell anyone,he just felt it was right since the company looked honest enough to put his money for a run with them. He got us tickets and we hit the road. We were in a coach of 16 seats with 10 of us occupying ten seats and another 6 who came together occupying the rest. They included a storyteller to enlighten and educate us on our way on what we needed to know concerning the trip. The Lady tried and at the end of the day,we all enjoyed ourselves. Turned out our friend knew what was good. Rabbies Tours treated us to an exclusive experience all through and we hope to go with their company on another tour soon. We didn't regret going with them. So hop on one of the ride and enjoy the services of Rabbies Tours.
Tour review
Graham and Cris were brilliant as tour guides. Graham's use of the map really helped us understand the routes and made it easier to follow. But, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement. Firstly, I think we could have made better use of the free day at Ullapool by spending more time at Skye, which is such a stunning and interesting place. And secondly, the visit to the Harris Tweed house was soured by the local manager's rudeness to one of our group members, causing a delay to the tour. I would have preferred more time exploring Lewis or maybe a distillery experience instead. Despite these minor hiccups, I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
Tour review highlighting Connemara National Park views
The best part of the tour for me was exploring the Connemara National Park area. The beautiful views of the landscape really blew me away. And what made it even better was the great bond we had in our group of 6. We all got along really well, which made the whole tour even more enjoyable. I have to give a shoutout to our amazing guide, Stephanie. She was a key part of what made this trip so unforgettable. Stephanie not only took us to interesting places but also had a deep knowledge of the area. Her storytelling was incredible, blending history and folklore seamlessly. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I'll always remember.
Day trip from Edinburgh
The day trip we had from Edinburgh was just spot on for our holiday in the UK. Our guide, Peter, was brilliant! He knew his stuff, was really nice, and made the whole thing so much fun. We found out loads about the places we went to, saw some amazing sights, and felt really safe and at ease the whole time. It was definitely worth every penny for the memories we made.
Coastal UK tour
We had a great time exploring the coastal areas of the UK with two friendly guides who were very knowledgeable. They told us lots of interesting facts and stories at each stop, which made the trip both educational and fun. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the company's lack of communication. We had to keep sending emails to get a response and even had to ask about our accommodation details. Plus, we were disappointed to discover that we missed out on visiting some of the stops or sites that were meant to be included in the trip.
Outlander tour
Oh my gosh, I went on this amazing Outlander tour and it was incredible! Our guide was absolutely brilliant - he was so funny, super knowledgeable, and made sure we had the best time possible. We were planning to visit Doune Castle but couldn't because of filming, but he made sure we still had a great time. I'm completely obsessed with Outlander so this was like a dream come true for me. Definitely make sure to book in advance though as it fills up fast. I learned so much about Scotland and its culture - it was fantastic! Big thanks to our guide for making it such a fantastic day!
11-day tour of Ireland
I just got back from an amazing 11-day tour of Ireland and it was absolutely brilliant. The trip was filled with breathtaking views, well-thought-out schedules, and even some extra special moments like a sheep dog show. Our drivers, Mark and Marcus, were fantastic. They gave us informative daily briefs, interesting stories, historical facts, and even played some good music. It really made the whole experience even better. Meeting new friends from different parts of the world was also a great bonus of the trip.
Highlands and Loch Ness Tour
I went on a tour of the Highlands and Loch Ness recently and it was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Ally P, was really informative and kept us entertained throughout the trip. He shared lots of interesting facts about the places we went to and made the whole experience really enjoyable. The stops we made were perfect for taking photos and having a little break. The tour was well-planned and everything went smoothly. I came away feeling so inspired by the stunning beauty of Scotland.
Tour to Rosslyn Chapel & the Borderlands
Our trip to Rosslyn Chapel & the Borderlands was absolutely lovely. The tour guide, Dave, really knew his stuff and kept us interested with all sorts of historical tidbits as we admired the beautiful Scottish landscape. Rosslyn Chapel was definitely the standout, with its amazing stonework and interesting past. Stopping off for lunch in charming Melrose village was a nice little added bonus that made the whole day even more enjoyable.
Tour with Graeme
Graeme was absolutely brilliant, he shared so much about the highlands and Scotland and it was really fascinating. The small group made it even better as we could take our time to enjoy things, like that amazing waterfall we saw. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!
Trip to Scotland with kids
Oh my goodness, going around Scotland was absolutely amazing! My family and I had such a great time on a day trip to Alnwick Castle, it was the best. Our guide, Franziska, was fantastic. She shared funny stories, made cool sound effects, and even taught us some interesting history. We visited some really fun spots and had a wonderful time. If you have kids, I highly recommend going on this tour, it's a must!
Educational and Cultural Tour
The tour was brilliant, a great mix of history and soaking up the local culture. Our guides, who were also our bus drivers, were amazing. They had a lovely Irish charm and really made the trip enjoyable. The B&Bs where we stayed were so cosy and welcoming, it felt like being at home. And the scenery we saw around every turn was just stunning.
Irish adventure with a nice driver
I recently went on a tour of Ireland and it was absolutely amazing! The driver, Albert, was really friendly and knowledgeable about Ireland. He navigated through some really obscure back roads like a champ! We discovered all these charming little villages that I would never have come across by myself. It was such an exciting adventure and I enjoyed every single minute of it!
Tours with informative guides
I went on a few tours recently with some really knowledgeable guides. They made the whole experience really interesting and fun. The guides shared loads of detailed information about the places we visited, which made the tours not just entertaining but also really informative. I would definitely recommend these tours to anyone who wants to discover more about Scottish culture and history.
Day trip experience
I went on a day trip recently and I have to say, the guide was really knowledgeable and passionate about the whole experience. Even though my English isn't perfect, I could still feel the effort put into making it special. The music playing in the background was a nice touch that made the tour even more fun and interesting.
Tour guide Helen, excellent 3 day tour in Lewis and Harris
Our tour guide, Helen, was absolutely brilliant! She was so chatty, really knew her stuff, and was happy to change plans when we felt like going off the usual track. The 3-day tour around Lewis and Harris was honestly amazing. The group was the perfect size, and we all got on really well. I'd definitely suggest this tour company to anyone wanting to see the Outer Hebrides. They really hit the mark!
Fabulous Orkneys tour
I had such a great time exploring Orkneys for 3 days with our fantastic guide Helen! The group was really cool, and we had an amazing time seeing all the sights. The accommodation was top quality, and Helen kept us entertained with her stories and jokes. Looking forward to my next Rabbies tour already!
