    Falconry and jousting shows

The falconry show at Warwick Castle was incredible, I've never seen a falconer as skilled as the one there. The birds of prey were amazing and it was a truly memorable experience. The jousting show was also a highlight of the visit, especially the finale with the display riders - very impressive. However, a downside was the lack of information about the show timings. Despite being advised to use an app on my phone, there was no Wi-Fi available on site, so it was hard to access this info. And once inside the castle grounds, there were no show times displayed anywhere, leaving visitors in the dark about when they would start. The leaflet given at the entrance had details of the shows, but unfortunately, it didn't have timings. Overall, it was a fascinating visit but more information is needed to fully enjoy everything that's on offer.

    Nice, expensive gifts, no cash

I visited this castle recently and it was really amazing! The staff there were so friendly and welcoming. The shows they put on were absolutely fantastic, but I was a bit disappointed because the gifts in the shop were quite expensive. I really wanted to buy something as a souvenir, but I only had cash on me and they didn't accept cash payments. My grandparents had given me some money specifically for treats, but I couldn't use it there. Not everyone has a card to pay with, so it was a bit of a let-down. Some families really save up to be able to treat their kids, but it seems like the castle just wants to make more money off of us. It's a bit frustrating. ☹️

Falconers Quest, late visit, displays not available

I went to Warwick Castle not too long ago and I have to say, the Falconers Quest show there was absolutely amazing. Even though some parts weren't open because of the time of year, that show alone made the entrance fee totally worth it. The birds of prey were just stunning to watch, and the handlers really knew their stuff and kept us all interested. I had a great time wandering around the castle grounds and finding out more about its history. The only downside was that a few bits were closed off for work being done, but all in all, it was an awesome day out.

Falconry show, jousting show, Blue Badge carer goes free

I visited the castle recently and honestly, I was blown away by the falconry show - it was absolutely amazing. Equally, the jousting show was really impressive too. Overall, the whole experience at the castle was just incredible, there was so much to take in and enjoy.

I also want to mention the fantastic initiative they have for Blue Badge holders. It's such a great idea that they can bring a carer for free, saving them a lot of money. It's a really considerate and inclusive gesture that definitely added to the whole positive experience.

    Warwick Castle visit

Being a big history fan, I was really excited about going to Warwick Castle. But to be honest, I was a bit let down by the whole experience. When I got there, the grand hall was pretty impressive, but I was disappointed to find there was hardly any signs outside the castle. And once I got inside, I was annoyed by the fact that there wasn't much information or guides around. There weren't any maps to help me navigate the castle, which made things really tricky and kind of spoiled the whole visit for me.

What made it worse was the fact that I felt like the entrance fee was way too pricey, especially when they charged an extra £7 for parking. The food in the café wasn't great either - there wasn't much choice and everything was really expensive. The pulled pork bun I had wasn't even that warm, and it definitely wasn't appetising. The cakes were overpriced too, and there wasn't much variety to choose from.

I ended up giving the food truck a go, but the coffee was just as disappointing - it was way too expensive and didn't taste great. All in all, I felt like Warwick Castle was too focused on making money, kind of like a theme park, which took away from its historical importance. The high entrance fees and lack of good services left me feeling pretty dissatisfied with my trip there.

    Warwick Castle visit

Despite the historical charm and interesting activities at Warwick Castle, my experience was a bit overshadowed by the lack of guidance and organization. When we arrived, getting into the castle was a bit chaotic and the staff didn't seem quite ready. The Zog playground was hard to find without proper signs, so we ended up getting a bit lost until we got a map. The Undercourt Cafe didn't have enough sheltered areas or comfy seats, which made eating there a bit of a letdown. The layout was a bit cramped and the service was slow, taking away from the overall experience. However, the birds of prey show, maze, and Zog activities were really fun and kept us entertained. Having clean toilets was a plus, though having to wait in line each time was a pain. Luckily, the friendly and helpful staff we met around the castle really saved the day.

    Visit to Warwick Castle

I went to Warwick Castle for the first time recently, and I have to say, I was really impressed. The Falconer's Quest show was amazing - the birds of prey were incredibly impressive and kept both me and my daughter captivated throughout. The War of the Roses show was also great fun, adding to the whole experience of the day. And the castle and its grounds were just stunning. Climbing those steps was totally worth it for the incredible views. I had a fantastic day at Warwick Castle and can't wait to go back again.

    Family day out

My trip to the historical site was really interesting. Being a history buff, I loved exploring the castle ruins and immersing myself in the past. But, I feel like I should warn parents with young kids about trying to climb the tower. The stairs are quite a lot, not ideal for children, we found ourselves having to carry our boys most of the way. Still, we lucked out with the weather that day, which made the whole experience even better.

The interactive maze, thrilling dungeon, mesmerising falconry display, and spectacular War of the Roses show were all so exciting and wonderful. I had a great time visiting the castle with my family. We had so much fun exploring all the interesting rooms and towers, the views from the top were incredible! It felt like we were going back in time. The staff were really friendly and made sure we had a fantastic experience. I even got to try on a knight's helmet, which was really cool!

    Halloween event at Warwick Castle

Halloween after dark was such a letdown this year compared to before. It just didn't have the same buzz and fun as it used to, with fewer people dressed up, no fire eaters or sword fighters with fire. The haunted walks were alright, but the live band playing random songs that weren't even Halloween themed was just weird. The fire eater's show was a bit of a letdown too. Overall, it was a bit of a disappointment, I'd say steer clear if you can.

    Day trip to Warwick Castle

Warwick Castle looks amazing from the outside, but honestly, the inside is a bit dull. The castle part itself isn't that impressive and can be a bit boring. However, the gardens are really lovely! The prices, though, are way too high for what you actually get. They advertise one thing on their website but end up charging much more when you visit. It's really unfair! And don't even get me started on the customer service - they just ignore you when you try to ask about the prices. Overall, I wouldn't say it's worth it unless you're a massive fan of castles.

    Castle visit experience

The castle was really impressive with all its history and grandness, but I was a bit put off by some of the attraction staff in the dungeon using inappropriate language, especially with kids around. The cafe below the castle didn't seem to have all the right equipment, and the staff there seemed quite disinterested. It was a shame to see so many young employees who didn't really seem to have that professional attitude. On the bright side, the other cafe had a lovely atmosphere with staff who were well-organised and ready for a busy day.

    Quick Visit with Kids

The trip to the castle was a bit like going to a theme park rather than soaking up the history. Sadly, I didn't get to fully enjoy the site because of all the rowdy kids running about and getting in the way. It would be brilliant if they had a special day just for adults every week, so we could have a quieter visit. Also, it would be helpful to have better signs showing where everything is and more staff around to help out. We ended up missing out on the peacock garden because there wasn't clear guidance.

    Visit to castle and grounds

My family and I had a great time at the castle last month. We visited on the first day of September and it was really nice because there weren't many people around. We explored all the interesting things in the castle, although unfortunately, we missed out on seeing the falconry and jousting, which was a bit disappointing. Oh, and we decided not to pay extra to visit the dungeon because we weren't too interested. The car park was a bit of a pain as it was a 20-minute walk away and we had to pay £6 to park there. On top of that, we had to pay at the castle to get a QR code to exit! They should have clear signs to inform people about this as it was quite confusing. All in all, it was a fun day out but be prepared for a lot of walking!

    Warwick Castle Halloween event

I went to Warwick Castle for their Halloween event recently and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I've been there before, so I was surprised to see that the event wasn't as well organized as I had hoped, especially after last year's Halloween event was affected by rain. It was a shame that there weren't any tents or shelters to protect us from the heavy rain, leaving us stuck in the mud without any cover.

One event, the "Glass Coffin" experience, made me worry about hygiene. We were asked to wear blindfolds that looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly, which is pretty gross and could be a risk to health. Being told to hold onto a stranger's shoulder instead of a safer option just added to the discomfort and made me wonder about how well the event had been planned and if they really cared about our wellbeing.

Standing in long queues in the pouring rain, and doing similar activities over and over again, meant that the whole experience wasn't as fun as I'd hoped, and it felt like it wasn't good value for money. I really love the history and grandeur of Warwick Castle, so I was hoping for a more special and enjoyable time at the Halloween event.

I really hope that the team at Warwick Castle listens to feedback like this and makes some changes for future events, so that everyone can have a better time and enjoy themselves more.

    Our visit to Warwick Castle

Although Warwick Castle is undeniably charming and set in a beautiful location, my visit was greatly overshadowed by the terrible customer service and lack of responsibility shown by the staff. We had planned to visit for the Christmas Light Trail, even paying extra for it, but due to the rainy weather, we had to cut our visit short. We were promised a "rainy day" pass, but when we decided to leave, the response from the customer service team was extremely disappointing. Despite explaining our disappointment and the reasons behind it, all we received was a standard entry offer for the next year, completely disregarding the extra cost we had paid for the event. The lack of communication and understanding of our concerns was truly disheartening. It felt like a huge letdown after eagerly anticipating what was supposed to be a fun family day out. The way they ignored our concerns and failed to address them in a timely and respectful manner was truly shocking. I find it hard to believe that a well-respected establishment could treat their customers with such disrespect and negligence. This experience has definitely put me off from returning in the future.

    Castle visit

During my recent visit to the castle, I was a bit disappointed by the amount of people using their phones to take photos of everything. It kinda took away from the whole vibe and historical importance of the place, you know? Back in the day, the castle used to hand out this A4 booklet with chapters and photos of the state rooms and great hall - it was super helpful and added to the whole experience. It's a real shame that they don't do that anymore.

I think if they stopped allowing photography and encouraged visitors to really engage with the history and beauty of the castle, it would make a big difference to the overall experience. Plus, the folks checking the entrance tickets didn't mention the pamphlet about the castle layout, so I felt a bit lost and didn't know where to go next. And there weren't many signs in the kingmaker's rooms, which made it hard to find my way around and appreciate all the cool stuff on display. All these things together made my visit less enjoyable, you know?

    Visit to Warwick Castle

My visit to Warwick Castle was really disappointing. The staff weren't very helpful, the attractions were quite dull, and the whole atmosphere was just not very impressive. It felt like a total waste of both time and money.
