My time with this new bank has been absolutely game-changing. After dealing with old-fashioned banks, using the app was like a breath of fresh air with how easy and efficient it is. Transfers happen super quickly and the cards are so handy. But what really makes this bank stand out is their amazing customer service. Whenever I had a problem, I could easily reach a real person who always managed to help me out. The bank's app is really impressive when it comes to dealing with cryptocurrency. I've never seen so many options for managing digital assets in a traditional bank. It's like having a crypto wallet and bank account together. Their customer service is surprisingly attentive and personal, which is a nice change from the usual robotic service you get from other banks.
Online banking experience
My time using the online banking platform was pretty good. I found that my transactions went through fast and smoothly. I really liked the fact that I could keep a separate savings account on the app, it helped me stay on top of my money. However, I did notice that there weren't many instant payment choices for other bank accounts, which was a bit of a letdown.

I had a bit of trouble setting up my account because I wanted to use Martinique as my address, but also have a French number. It didn't work out, so I ended up choosing France as my address instead. Even when I tried to input Martinique as my address, my credit card wouldn't go through. Luckily, I managed to sort it all out in the end.

The app I used for buying stuff online was ace, dead easy to use. It sorted all the difficult stuff for me with no hassle. But you know what really impressed me? The customer service! I got ripped off during my online shop, but the app sorted me right out with a full refund. How good is that?
Claiming back expenses
I'm trying to get some money back for some costs I had because I got sick while I was on holiday in Portugal last week. I had to go to a medical clinic and see a doctor about a bad chest infection. Even though I gave them things like my boarding passes and receipts from the doctor and pharmacy, they've said it's not enough proof. This has made me wonder if my insurance plan is good enough.
Money transfer issues
My experience with customer service was really frustrating. I had to wait a long time for a response, and when I finally got one, I had to speak to four different agents, all of whom seemed to have different information. One of them said they'd call me back, but the next one said that wasn't possible. It was all very confusing and a waste of time. The last agent told me that a money transfer from my EUR account to one in Austria would require a non EU-IBAN number, which doesn't make sense in terms of fees. Overall, it was a let-down.
Multi-currency account
This app is really great! I absolutely love having a multi-currency account, and it's so easy to use. The only downside is the fees for investing in crypto, but apart from that, it's really good.
Overseas spending
I was really disappointed with the service I received. I wanted to transfer a large sum in a foreign currency and was hoping for a quick and easy process. However, it was a letdown. The online chat support tried to help, but after 20 minutes with no progress, I realised it would have been faster to go to my own bank and use the usual methods. Plus, it probably would have been more reliable. If you need to transfer anything more than a small sum in a foreign currency, it's better to stick to regular banks. The only good thing was that it was useful for spending small amounts abroad, so it's okay for holidays and work trips.
Transfer money to son studying abroad
The app is really simple to use, and I feel quite chuffed when I send money to my son who's studying overseas. It's dead handy and it makes me feel like a proper cool parent. Big thanks to Revolut!
Failed overseas payment experience
I was proper disappointed with the service I got from this company. They said my card would work in Slovakia, but when I tried to use it, my payment got declined, and I couldn't even withdraw cash from the ATM. It was so embarrassing and annoying, and I felt really let down by the promises made by the support team. I won't bother using this service again when I'm travelling abroad.
Travel-friendly banking experience.
I've been using this platform for a few years now and I really like how easy and convenient it is for quick transfers, especially when I'm travelling. However, living in France as a foreigner has caused some problems when trying to verify my residency status. This is because I've been experiencing delays in getting my physical residency card. Even though I have given them all the necessary documents, the system just can't seem to accept anything other than the physical card. This has led to me getting constant notifications to update my details. The online chat support hasn't been very helpful or productive either. Despite my repeated attempts to fix the issue, it always ends up with the same result, which is quite frustrating.
Customer service experience
I had a chat with a customer service agent the other day and they were really nice. They helped me out by sending me to the right department to sort out my question. Although they answered my query well, I would have liked to talk to a real person instead.
Currency exchange and international transfers
I've generally had a positive experience with the service, but there have been a couple of issues that have affected how satisfied I am overall. One big downside is the new exchange rate they've brought in for the Standard plan, which isn't as good as it used to be. Plus, I wouldn't recommend using this service for outgoing transfers - there have been cases where transfers have gone missing because the company used cheap and unclear correspondent banks.
