one was made in 2022, the other in 2023. I know they’re technically sold as new, but when you buy two together, you do expect them to be reasonably close in age. Especially with tyres, it does not feel like a minor detail. Getting a straight answer afterwards was the tiring part. Replies took ages, then seemed to change depending on who answered. I was passed around a bit and had to repeat the same explanation more than once. In the end, I was told it would cost £45 per tyre to send them back. That makes returning them pretty pointless financially, which is frustrating when the mismatch was there from the start. I have had the odd problem with online car parts suppliers before, but usually someone tries to sort it out without making it harder than it needs to be. Here it felt like the process was more likely to put you off pursuing it. Maybe the tyres will be fine in use, and I am not saying older stock is automatically unsafe. Still, I’d have preferred clear information before ordering and a fairer solution afterwards. Check the DOT codes as soon as the parcel arrives.
Stock shown, then a higher price
there was no simple way to accept the difference or sort it out, only cancellation and a refund request. So that is what I selected. Slightly relieved there was at least an exit, but still annoyed at losing several days. I buy tyres online regularly and have spent a fair bit over the years without this kind of last-minute change. For an extra €6, they have lost future orders from me.

Sorted at last

Don’t buy here if you need tyres quickly. I ordered at the end of May with a 3–5 working day promise and they held my money for nearly two weeks before finally issuing a refund for the items that never turned up. To be fair, customer service replied reasonably quickly when I chased, but replies were mostly promises of "tomorrow" that never materialised. I received two of the four tyres (one wasn’t the model I ordered and both came covered in rusty dust). Compared with other suppliers this was messy, but the refund means it was at least resolved in the end. I’m still sceptical but slightly relieved.
The slow tyre shuffle
It started as a simple tyre order but turned into a time‑draining mess. I paid for next‑day dispatch and nothing left that day. I cancelled and was told a refund was coming, yet the tyres were still dispatched — after I'd bought replacements elsewhere. They promised to collect the original ones three times; three separate days lost to waiting. For ages they insisted they would only refund once they'd picked them up. A courier finally rang unannounced and my wife handed the tyres over. That was on 9 January. Weeks later (22 January) no refund. It's getting personal now; I feel like I'm chasing £195 and getting nowhere. Be warned, follow up constantly or escalate it.
Nearly lost faith but glad I persisted
I needed new tyres because I'd picked up a slow puncture and was heading off for a move, so I was already stressed. At first it was a bit of a shambles — they sent the wrong size, ignored my messages for days and every time I phoned the automated system just cut me off and still charged. I thought that was that. After a stubborn follow-up someone finally answered, apologised and organised the right tyres plus a refund for the calls. The exact moment I relaxed was when the fitter rang to say he was outside and then fitted the correct tyres — car felt solid again, proper relief.
Nearly gave up, but sorted in the end
I was suspicious from the start — they took the money pretty quickly and then silence. Waited nearly two weeks for the wheels with tyres, phoned after a week and was told they'd ship next day; I even asked for a tracking number and heard nothing. After about 15 days I finally called again and was told the wheels weren't actually in stock and they'd refund me. I didn't believe it at first, because I've had worse run-arounds with other companies, but after a formal request the refund did come through eventually. Bit slow, could've been handled better, but staff were polite once I pushed. So, not perfect, but in the end I'm actually satisfied it was sorted. Would consider using them again, cautiously.
