Sewing fabrics
I've been sewing for ages but all the fabric stores near me shut down or hiked up their prices. It's so annoying! Luckily, I found these two amazing fabric shops in England. The fabrics are so pretty and good quality, plus they have loads of variety. I always end up wanting to buy more than I need, so now I check my total in dollars before buying to avoid a shock. It's forced me to be more selective with my choices, which is actually a good thing.
Anyway, one of the shops offers free shipping if you spend over 100 pounds which is awesome, and they even track your shipment. They also have this cool feature where you can see what other people have made with the fabric you're looking at. The customer service is really helpful and quick to respond. So, I'm super happy with my fabric purchases from there.Fabric purchase
I recently bought some fabric from this store and I have to say, I was really impressed. They had a wide range of products to choose from and the quality of the fabric was top-notch. I was particularly impressed with their 'core' and 'exclusive' range of fabrics, they were really amazing. The service I received was excellent too, the staff were super helpful and gave me great advice while I was shopping. I even signed up as a member and got a 10% discount on my purchase, which was a great bonus. They also have some really good sales with decent discounts for members, although their prices may not always be the cheapest, the discounts definitely make it worth it. Overall, I had a great experience with this company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality fabrics.

I always shop at this online store, I won't mention the name, for my fabric collection. They have a fantastic range of types and colours that I can't resist, and I keep adding more to my wishlist every time I visit. Sometimes the website can be a bit slow, but I don't mind waiting because the quality of the fabrics is always worth it. I really appreciate that they offer GOTS and/or Oeko-Tex certified materials, it makes it easier for me to shop sustainably. Their social media accounts are also brilliant for inspiration, they showcase the work of other creators and different colour schemes in various lighting which I find really helpful.

What makes them stand out is their useful sewing videos that give you tips and tricks for dealing with tricky parts of a project and helping you choose the right fabric. I really liked the recent video about viscose jersey fabric, it was both fun and informative. I value the effort they put into featuring skilled sewers and giving me ideas for my own projects. Minerva has definitely become my number one choice for anything to do with sewing.

Sewing patterns purchase
I ordered two sewing patterns from this company not too long ago. But when the parcel turned up, it was all banged up and instead of my patterns, I got a dance top. So, I called up customer services straight away to sort it out. A really nice bloke there helped me out with the whole thing, took charge of dealing with the post office, and quickly sent me the missing patterns. I was well chuffed with how fast and efficient they were in getting it all sorted for me.
Viscose fabric purchase
I really don't like shopping online because I always struggle to find where to put the discount code! When I reached out to Minerva via email, they did provide some information but I still couldn't locate it. I bought 2 metres of the viscose fabric which was priced at £15.99 per metre - it was a bit expensive but the pattern was just so lovely. However, when the fabric arrived, it was all misshapen and 16cm short at both ends! I reached out to them again, asking for a refund or replacement fabric but by then I had already started using it. They only offered me 10% off my next purchase, which I feel is not fair at all. I have never received such poorly cut fabric from any other company before!
Craft supplies purchase
I often buy craft supplies from this shop because they have a huge range to pick from. Their delivery is super quick, which is great for me. A few times they sent the wrong item, but the customer service team fixed it right away without any trouble. I love the craft club discount they give too, it's really helpful!

I recently bought some fabric from this company because I saw an advert on eBay offering a discount with a coupon. When I tried to use the coupon, it didn't work. I contacted customer service and found out they had taken the offer off the listing I bought from, but it was still on others. Minerva didn't do anything to honour the coupon deal, which left me feeling unsatisfied with their service. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this company - a previous order had the wrong fabric and they wouldn't fix it because they claimed a pricing error. These repeated problems with communication and service don't match up with their claim of putting customers first. Because of these experiences, I won't be using their services again.
Recent fabric purchase
I have to say, even with all the great reviews, I was pretty disappointed by the lack of choice in their fabrics. Customer service was a bit hit and miss - some of them were really helpful, but others were just plain rude. The prices were okay, but the quality wasn't up to scratch. Delivery took forever, I ended up waiting much longer than I thought I would for my order to turn up. All in all, it was a bit of a letdown.
