Poppy brooches purchase
I have to admit, I was a bit confused by the whole RBL snub of GB news situation, but if what I heard was true, then good on them. It's quite puzzling how some people link the poppy with right-wing propaganda. I find it amusing to see other reviewers getting all worked up about the snub, maybe they need a reminder of why our ancestors fought in WW2 instead of supporting a media outlet that promotes fear and hostility towards refugees. Anyway, moving on from that, I had a great experience with the Poppy shop. The poppy brooches I ordered arrived on time and are absolutely lovely.
Utility bill assistance during difficult times
I was really finding it hard to keep up with my utility bills, especially with the added stress of dealing with a long-term illness and my wife being diagnosed with cancer recently. So, I decided to reach out to the organization for help. They got back to me promptly and provided us with assistance, which really took a huge weight off our shoulders. I am genuinely grateful for their support during this challenging time.
Poppy wreath purchase
I bought a poppy wreath from the shop not too long ago and I must say I was pretty happy with both the product and the service I received. Ordering the wreath was a bit of a hassle though, as the only option was to phone up and wait a fair while to be answered. But when I finally got through, the person I spoke to was really nice and handled my order quickly and with no fuss.

I felt really let down when this organization didn't thank the reputable source that gave them funding. It's just sad to see that kind of ingratitude towards donations for a good cause like the Poppy Appeal. I'm thinking about supporting different organizations now, ones that actually appreciate and value every donation they get.
Crochet poppies purchase
I've been making crochet poppies for the British Legion for years to raise money. So when I saw an ad for ready-made poppies on a popular website, I thought it would be an easy way to show support. But ordering from that site turned into a complete nightmare. As soon as I clicked on the link, my screen was flooded with annoying ads and my personal info was used for sponsorships I didn't agree to. It's obviously a scam, so I'd advise everyone to be careful when using that website.
Camo poppy t-shirt
I bought this really cool camo poppy t-shirt from here because I love supporting veterans. But oh my gosh, trying to buy it was super stressful. The website was so rubbish, and my shirt just stayed in the basket even after I thought I had purchased it. And then, there was no option to pay! What a joke. They didn't even send me any emails about my purchase or delivery. I mean, seriously, how can they be so bad at this?
Annual poppy donation
I always make sure to donate to the annual poppy charity because my family has ties to the RAF, however, this year I was disappointed to learn that they didn't even send a representative to a fundraiser! How disrespectful and disappointing. Shame on them!
Quick delivery, good quality products, donation to a good cause
I was really pleased with how fast my order arrived. The quality of the products is top-notch, and it's great to know that all the payments go to such an important cause like the Royal British Legion. Overall, a really positive shopping experience.

Assistance disappointment
I felt really let down by the organisation as they didn't offer much help at all. Being a former soldier for 24 years, I asked for assistance after a bad car accident, but all I got was a chat. It made me feel disappointed and like I wasn't being supported. I won't be wearing the symbol or donating anymore. I think wearing my hard-earned medals with pride is more important than wearing a poppy symbol.
Customized Poppy Wreath
I bought a special poppy wreath from the Poppy Shop to remember my father, who was a pilot in WWII and sadly died in action. I wanted some guidance on where to put the wreath, but I was told they don't help dependents like me. It was really upsetting, especially because they lay wreaths on Remembrance Sunday. It's sad to see a shop that should be backing veteran families lacking in compassion and understanding.
Remembrance Day purchase
I ordered something for Remembrance Day thinking it would come in 3-4 days. But it actually turned up 9 days late, way past the occasion. The customer service team didn't reply and didn't sort out the problem. It was a bit of a letdown.

I wouldn't recommend giving any business to that shop. They take advantage of veterans, paying big bucks to lazy ex-British army officers and making disabled veterans work for free to produce their products.
Items for a sporting event involving history lesson for children
I've just recently ordered some stuff from Poppy Shop for a special sports event with 7-year-old kids. We're using it to teach them about history and why it's important. But I gotta say, I was pretty let down by their customer service. When I got in touch with them today, the customer service person was not very helpful and honestly a bit rude. That's not the kind of service I was hoping for, especially from a shop that's linked to helping our military heroes. If my stuff doesn't turn up on time, I'll definitely be sending it back and asking for my money back.
Gift purchase for a friend
The Poppy Shop is honestly a terrible excuse for a charity shop. I bought something there as a present for a friend, and not only was the quality pretty poor, but the way they treated me was just awful. The staff were dismissive and rude, with zero respect for customers. On top of that, the prices were ridiculously high, with no reason for it. And then when it came to delivering the item, it was late and they didn't even bother explaining or saying sorry. All in all, my time at the Poppy Shop was really let down and I wouldn't advise anyone to give them any support.
Lapel poppy pins
I ordered four lapel poppy pins from this Poppy Shop at the end of October. I received an email saying my order was dispatched a few days later, but when I looked at the tracking information, it showed that Hermes hadn't even received the package. What a joke! I had to send them an email to ask for a refund, which was surprisingly done quite quickly. I mean, at least they're good at giving people their money back, I'll give them that. But honestly, how can a shop mess up something as straightforward as sending out an order?
Donation and merchandise
I've recently donated and bought some things from this shop, but I haven't heard anything about my order yet. I've tried emailing them, but there's been no response, not even a delivery confirmation. It's really disappointing not to hear back, especially after making a donation. I'm not sure when or if my order will arrive, and that's a bit worrying.

I've been really disappointed with this shop, to be honest. I bought a t-shirt from their website recently and it was not up to scratch. The material felt really cheap, and the print started fading after just one wash. On top of that, the customer service was pretty poor - slow responses to my questions and not very helpful when I raised my concerns about the product. I was shocked by the high prices they were charging for such low-quality stuff. To make matters worse, the delivery took way longer than I expected, with no updates or tracking info given. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone looking for decent quality products and reliable service.
