settlement claim resolved
They got back to me pretty swiftly and in a very professional manner. They said they'd realised there had been a mistake with my claim settlement and promised to pay me soon. I couldn't believe they still remembered my claim from 5 years back, but I must say, I was really impressed.

They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, which was a relief as insurance can be confusing. Straight after the call, I received an email confirming the changes. Took out a policy with AXA. Never claimed in almost 40 years. Had severe storm and suffered roof damage, shed damage and other outside items destroyed, Surveyor said it was wear and tear that had caused the damage to the roof and refused to accept the claim, outside items destroyed came under contents but AXA claims the policy has a clause that does not cover items that are classed as contents but outside! They oddly enough will cover the shed. I will be employing my own surveyor to challenge this. I would advise everybody to never use AXA. They take your money and refuse to pay. Unbelievable.
