Holiday insurance
Avoid taking out holiday insurance with them, they deceived me about the excess cost which resulted in unnecessary financial loss. I will be changing to a different company now.
Holiday insurance purchase
I booked a holiday for May 2020, but it got cancelled due to COVID-19. I got in touch with the company early on to ask if I could change the date to May 2021. At first, they said they would look into it, but then I didn't hear anything for ages. When they finally replied, they said I could only switch to dates before April 2021. When I asked for a refund instead, they offered me less than a quarter of what I paid. After a long and frustrating phone call, they said they would give me half back as a gesture of goodwill, but I turned it down. I wanted a full refund because none of this was my fault. They wouldn't budge on their offer and told me to take it up with the ombudsman, so I did. But I haven't heard anything from them yet. Despite the insurance being cheap, I'm determined to get my full payment back on principle.
Misleading purchase
I had a really terrible experience with this company. They trick customers into purchasing policies without giving us all the important details, then refuse to cover certain problems once we've paid. Getting a refund is a complete nightmare because their admin email doesn't work and their phones are always busy. Even their compliance email doesn't reply. The service is just awful. I'm definitely going to report them to the FCA. My advice is to avoid this dodgy company.
Cancelled renewal attempt
I've been trying to cancel my renewal with this company for ages now, but it's been a nightmare. Their phone lines shut down early, and when I eventually managed to get through, I was stuck on hold for what seemed like an eternity. What's worse is that they haven't even bothered to respond to my emails! Their administrative skills are seriously lacking, and I'm relieved I didn't have to make a claim because I can only imagine it would have been a complete disaster. Trip insurance for American holiday
I bought travel insurance for a trip to America which got cut short because of a hurricane. It was a bit of a mess, but I managed to change my flight and get back home earlier. When I tried to claim for the days we missed out on during our holiday, I was told that hurricanes weren't covered in the policy for cutbacks. The definition of "home" in the policy was a bit confusing, which left me feeling frustrated. Even though my claim got rejected in the end, I could see a clear difference in how my insurance handled things compared to how other travellers were looked after by their insurance companies. It was really disappointing and felt unfair, showing me how important it is to go through the terms and conditions of a policy thoroughly before buying it.
Overpriced, misleading policy
My experience with this travel insurance was really disappointing. I didn't get any help from customer service when I tried to understand my policy, and the information in the document was out of date. On top of that, the emergency number they gave me was wrong, leaving me stuck without help during a layover. Later I discovered that they don't cover trips with connecting flights, something important that they didn't mention when I bought the insurance. The way this company lacks transparency and communicates poorly is just not good enough, and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

I purchased travel insurance for my trip to Australia, but it got cancelled due to COVID-19 and the Australian prime minister excluding non-Australians. I called the insurance company and they claimed they were aware of the virus before my travel dates. They tried to dismiss me, but I was persistent. I continued emailing and calling until they eventually offered me half of my money back. I was still dissatisfied, so I escalated the issue to the Insurance Ombudsman.

This company is a total nightmare to deal with. I bought travel insurance but had to cancel my holiday because of something unexpected happening. Travel cover refund request due to cancellation because of coronavirus
I got in touch with the company to ask about switching my travel insurance to different dates as I had to cancel my trip because of the coronavirus situation. It took them ages to get back to me, and when they did, they said they couldn't move the cover to trips after April 2021. They also said they'd only give me back half of my cash and wanted a £5 admin fee. Personally, I reckon they should've refunded the whole lot. I was pretty let down by the whole thing and I'd suggest steering clear of their services to others.

I've just bought travel insurance, and I've got to say, the customer service wasn't up to scratch. They're actually owned by another company, and they were really bad at keeping in touch and providing help. I tried emailing them but got no reply, and it made me feel like they didn't care about me as a customer. I'd advise you to be careful when booking with this travel insurance company. Even though we had premium cover, we were really surprised to find out that if there's a travel advisory in place, we wouldn't be covered for cancellation costs. They didn't tell us this clearly when we bought the policy, so it put us in a tough spot when we had to cancel our honeymoon. The company's lack of support and understanding was really disappointing and frustrating. To sum up, our experience with this company was bad and we'd suggest others to be cautious.
Unresponsive customer service
I bought a policy from this company not long ago, and I have to say, their customer service is shockingly unresponsive. I've tried to get in touch with them several times about changing my policy, but I haven't heard anything back at all. I even made an official complaint, but they told me I'd have to wait another 4 weeks for a response. It's really disappointing how little they seem to care about communicating with their customers.
Customer service experience
I totally agree with what the last reviewer said about the awful customer service at this company. My own experience trying to get hold of them was a nightmare too. I had to wait on hold for a whole hour at 11am, only to be told that their lines were about to close and to try again tomorrow. This is just not on and shows they don't really care about their customers. It's so annoying to waste so much time trying to reach them and getting nowhere.

I bought travel insurance for our June 2020 holiday, but had to cancel due to Covid-19. When we tried to contact the company for a refund, there was no response. We emailed and called multiple times but heard nothing back. It's annoying that they took £25 from us and then disappeared when we needed help. Travel insurance horror
I wanted to tell you about a really bad experience I had with a travel insurance company recently. Basically, I paid them but then couldn't get hold of them when I needed help. I was on hold for ages with no one picking up, which was so annoying. Plus, they wouldn't cover me for any cancellations because of coronavirus. Cancelled travel insurance
This company is absolutely useless! I tried to cancel my travel insurance, but I just couldn't get in touch with them at all. I sent four emails, made so many phone calls, and even wrote a letter, but I still haven't heard anything back. They say to use live chat, but surprise surprise - there isn't even one available! Honestly, it's best to avoid this company altogether to avoid any hassle.
