Lavender and rosemary plants
I was so excited when I ordered my Lavender and rosemary plants, but my experience with the company has been really disappointing. Instead of the plants I wanted, they sent me the wrong ones. I sent photos to prove it, but even though they promised a replacement six weeks ago, I haven't received anything yet despite chasing them up a few times. They haven't been great at getting back to my emails or keeping me updated, which is not good. It's made worse by the fact that I couldn't find a phone number for them, and the one I did find was out of service. I wish I had checked reviews first, so I'd recommend others to stay away from this company.
32 Hidcote lavender plants in 1 litre pots
I recently bought 32 Hidcote lavender plants from this company, all in 1 litre pots. I was a bit worried at first because of some negative reviews, but I went ahead and bought them because of a great deal and a £20 discount code I found. To my surprise, everything turned out really well. The plants arrived on time, brought by DPD, and they were in excellent condition with lots of new growth. They were packed up really securely, so there was no risk of damage during delivery. I didn't need to get in touch with customer service, but I was happy with how everything was handled. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again.
Lavender plant purchase
I recently bought some lavender plants and had a really good experience with the company. Back in March, I pre-ordered a bunch of lavender plants at a discounted rate. The delivery took a bit longer than I expected because it was early in the season, but when the plants arrived, I was happy with their quality. There was a little issue with my order as it was missing a few plants, but after I sent a quick email, they were sent to me the next day, even on a Saturday. The plants were well-rooted with lots of fresh growth, and this was the second time I've ordered from them during the discount season without any problems. I find it strange to hear about negative reviews because my experiences have all been positive.
Lavender plants order
Oh my goodness, can you believe it? I ordered those lavender plants last year and guess what? They never showed up! I mean, seriously, they were meant to arrive in November but no sign of them. And when I tried to get a refund, they just kept saying they'd do it but never actually did. It's been six months now and still nada! I had to go to the bank to sort it out and even they were aware of how dodgy this company is. Definitely steer clear of buying from them, it's a complete rip-off!
Waited a month for a tiny order
I waited around 4 weeks for my order and all I received were boring emails that didn't help in the slightest. It was so disappointing! I eventually managed to get my money back, but only after I warned them about legal action and went through a whole process with my credit card company. Later on, I discovered that they went out of business last year, I wish I had known that earlier! It was such a waste of my time and energy, but at least I got my money back. They are complete scammers, so frustrating!
Lots of lavender plants
I bought loads of lavender plants and they are all really nice. The order arrived quite fast, just over a week. This is my second time purchasing from this shop and the service has been excellent each time.
Logs for woodburner
Yeah, so I fancied getting some logs for my woodburner, yeah? I went ahead and placed my order, paid in advance and everything. But then, would you believe it? The delivery got delayed. And then, to top it all off, it got delayed again because of some "supplier issues". It was so frustrating! In the end, I had to cancel my order, but they flat-out refused to give me a refund. Can you even imagine?! It's like they're proper dodgy or something. I've heard they declared bankruptcy just to dodge paying taxes and bills. Proper shady, innit?
Lavender seeds
I ordered some lavender seeds from this company, but the next day delivery didn't happen at all - nothing arrived. I sent them a few emails, asking where my order was or for a refund. Eventually, they responded and apologised, saying the seeds would arrive in 2 days. When they finally did come, I was relieved to see that they were actually good quality. So, crisis averted!
Partial shipment of plants
Our time at that shop was awful, just like lots of other people have said. We bought some plants, but only got part of our order. We've tried calling and emailing them loads of times, but they still haven't sent the rest of our plants. It's really annoying to deal with such bad customer service and communication. We have no other option now but to take this matter further by contacting Trading Standards and Companies House.
Lavender plants for delivery in October
I got some lavender plants online a while back, and they were meant to arrive in October. However, I've been trying to track them down, but no luck so far. They said the plants were supposed to be sent out on the 20th of November, but they're still nowhere to be seen. To top it off, they're not even replying to my emails anymore. On the bright side, my bank sorted me out with a refund, but it's a shame things turned out this way.
Plant purchase for two customers
I recently placed an order for a range of plants for two customers through the website. The plants did arrive in a decent time frame, but unfortunately, they weren't labelled, which made it really difficult to tell them apart. When I reached out to the company for help, they asked me to send a photo of the plants so they could help me identify them.
Despite their promises to send replacements and give me a full refund, they didn't actually follow through on any of it. They said they refunded me, but I never saw any money. It was so frustrating because they completely ignored my emails and support tickets. I had to threaten legal action before they finally refunded me.
I managed to sort out the problem for my clients myself, but the whole experience was just so disappointing. I'd advise others to think twice before buying from this company.Lavender plants, Mediterranean plants, pre-ordered logs
In August, I bought some lovely lavender plants and a variety of Mediterranean plants, along with some pre-ordered logs from the store. The lavender plants were absolutely lovely and I was really happy with them. Unfortunately, the Mediterranean plants were a bit disappointing as they arrived all dried up and not very good quality. Even though the company said they would give me a refund for those plants, I still haven't seen the money. On top of that, they haven't been in touch about the pre-ordered logs either. Since they're not providing any customer service, I'm now trying to get my refund through my credit card company.
Refund delay
I've had a really disappointing experience with a company I was hoping to rely on for a refund for months now. No matter how many times I've tried to get in touch with them, I still haven't got any answers or help. It's clear that their lack of communication and slow responses just show how unprofessional they are, and that kind of service isn't good enough for us customers. It's really sad to see such bad customer service, so I'd recommend avoiding this company to others.
Lavender plant purchase
My experience with Lavender World was really disappointing. When my order eventually arrived, I was gutted to see that the plants were all damaged, and the box was completely torn and squashed. I said no thanks to the delivery straight away. I asked for a replacement, but when it turned up, it was in just as bad shape as the first one. Even though I've sent loads of emails and got promises that were never kept, I still haven't got my money back for my cancelled order. The customer service was shocking, and the company's lack of honesty is just terrible.
Essential oil purchase
I bought some essential oils from this company not long ago, but I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing. I tried to cancel my order by emailing them twice, but I never heard back from their customer service team. It took them a whole 10 days to deliver my order, which was definitely longer than I was expecting. On top of that, I thought it was a bit steep to pay £6.99 for postage on just two tiny bottles of essential oil. The quality of the oil itself was just okay, nothing special. Overall, my experience with this company was pretty dull, and I definitely won't be buying from them again.
Lavender plants
I don't understand why some people are leaving bad reviews, as my experience with Lavender World was brilliant. I bought 6 lavender plants and they arrived in great condition, well-packed and healthy, just 3 days after ordering. Louisa from the company kept me informed throughout, which I really liked. I'm thrilled with my purchase and would absolutely suggest Lavender World to anyone. Thanks a lot!
My big plant order
I ordered loads of plants online and they never showed up! I was so excited to get them and make my garden look super pretty, but now I'm just super disappointed. I tried emailing them about it a bunch of times, but they never replied. I even tried looking up a phone number, but no luck. It's a massive bummer and I definitely won't be ordering from them again!
Lavender plants, £81.98
I ordered some lavender plants on the 10th of March and I still haven't received them, despite sending multiple emails. I only got one reply from Rebecca, who asked if I had received them, but then never responded after that. I asked for a refund but still haven't heard anything back. This is really disappointing and there has been absolutely no customer service.
Dead and wrong plants
My experience with this company was absolutely dreadful. I bought some plants and when they got here, they were either dead or not what I ordered. I sent a bunch of emails over six months but never heard back. It was so annoying not being able to call for help. It really felt like this company is a bit of a joke or maybe even a scam. The way they treat their customers is just terrible. I recommend staying well away from this company and keeping hold of your cash.
Lavender products
I ordered some lavender products back on the 27th of October, with an expected delivery time of around 3 to 5 days. But here we are on the 18th of November, and I still haven't received a thing! I got in touch with the director, Sam Goodwill, who said he'd look into it with dispatch. However, I've not heard anything back since then. After having a bit of a dig around, it looks like I'm not the only one going through this same issue.
