    Trousers zip repair service

    I recently had my trousers repaired because the zip broke after years of frequent use. The whole process was really smooth - I got in touch with customer services and they quickly sent me a pre-paid label to send the trousers in for repair. I took the package to my local Post Office, using an old carrier bag, but the trousers arrived safely. Customer service kept me informed the whole time and after just six working days, my trousers were back with me, delivered by DPD courier. Getting the zip replaced not only saved my trousers but also helped with sustainability. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was only £10. I'm a happy and grateful customer.

    Warm and stylish chinos

    I recently bought a pair of chinos to wear in winter and I must say I'm really pleased with them. They're not only warm and kept me dry on cold days, but they're also really stylish, perfect for both travelling and business.     My order came quickly, which was good. However, I had some real problems trying to return an item. The instructions they gave were hard to read because the print was so small, and the website for printing return labels wasn't working properly. I tried a few times to print the labels, but it just wouldn't work. It was annoying not to have a prepaid returns label in the order, and even more annoying to find out that the free return option they promised didn't actually work like they said it would.

    I just bought a couple of short-sleeved travel shirts and I have to say, I am really impressed with how good they are. They are great for travelling because they dry quickly overnight, which is perfect for people on the move. The material is lightweight and breathable, so they are comfortable to wear, even in hot weather. They fit really well, not too tight or too loose.     Sunhat purchase

    I've just bought a sunhat from the store. It's really lightweight and does a great job at protecting my skin from the sun. However, I do think it could do with some air holes to make it more comfortable, especially as my head tends to get quite hot after wearing it for a while. It would also be nice to have more colours to choose from. I'd love it if they also had a winter version of the hat made from a waterproof material.

    Jacket repair

    My puffer jacket got a rip in it while I was out walking, but Rohan did a brilliant job fixing it up! I sent it to them and they repaired it amazingly well. It only cost me £15, and they even covered the postage. The seamstresses there are really skilled and they totally saved my jacket. Huge thanks to Rohan!

    I popped into the store in Knutsford a couple of times with my husband, thanks to a Christmas voucher we got. We were both really pleased with all the stuff they had there. I had bought a pair of Striders trousers online, but they didn't fit right so I needed to swap them. The staff were so helpful and made the exchange really easy. I also picked up a micro fleece and an Eos jacket for my Winter runs, and they've been great quality and keeping me toasty on those cold mornings.

    Waterproof jacket

    I bought this jacket about 4 years ago, but now it's not even waterproof anymore. The lining inside has all gone flaky and wrinkled, especially around the hood. I shelled out over £200 for this jacket and now it's not even doing what it's supposed to. Such a waste of money!

    I bought a jacket from that shop not long ago and, to be honest, I was pretty let down by the quality. It didn't hold up as well as I thought it would and when I got in touch with customer service, they told me that the jackets tend to wear out after a few years. They didn't say anything about that on the website, so now I'm stuck with a jacket that's falling apart. I've been a loyal customer for 15 years and I was hoping for better quality and durability from this brand.

    Waterproofs purchase

    I wish I had read some of these reviews before buying these waterproofs. My husband and I love walking, especially here in England where it's always raining. We thought it was a good idea to invest in some quality waterproof gear. We made sure in the store that it was really waterproof and the staff assured us it had the best technology for that. They served us well for about 6 months, but then they started to leak in places. We went back to the store and they sold us a special cleaning liquid to wash them with. We followed their instructions, but it didn't solve the problem; in fact, my partner's jacket got even worse after washing. We returned to the store and it hadn't even been a year since we bought them, and they were already playing up. They directed us to contact customer service, but they were not very helpful at all. They wanted us to send the jackets back for inspection, so we went back to the store to post them. They suggested we either put their return label on a bin bag and send the jackets like that, or drop them off at the store for a secure return. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up as there was a lack of communication between the store and customer service. I have been calling customer service for over a week now to check on our jackets, only to be told that the store posted our jackets to them yesterday instead of on the dates we had agreed upon.

    Rohan Valley jacket

    I bought the Rohan Valley jacket when it was on sale with a 50% discount. Initially, I was happy with the bargain because the jacket looked decent for the price. But after just a few months, the sleeve ripped, showing that the jacket wasn't very durable. If I had paid the full price of £150, I would have been really disappointed with the poor quality of this unlined, non-waterproof coat that was manufactured in Vietnam. In my view, Rohan should improve the quality of their products or lower the prices to reflect the standard.

    Waterproof jacket ruined by washing

    I bought a waterproof jacket from this shop and it was still working well, so I decided to wash it following their instructions to freshen it up a bit. I did everything right, used the product they recommended, but unfortunately, the jacket got completely ruined. It came out of the wash all wrinkled and now I can't even wear it. I was really disappointed because their website talks about promoting sustainability and repairing clothes, but when I contacted them, they said my jacket was too old. It was fine before I washed it, so I'm a bit let down by their response.

    I bought this jacket and it was really disappointing for the amount I paid. I shelled out 300 quid and I was hoping for better quality. When I got it, the filling was all bunched up at the bottom, with two separate bits of fabric at the top. It looked like it was poorly made and definitely not up to scratch. And don't even get me started on the customer service after I bought it, it was a total joke.

    I'm afraid I've been let down by the high-end jacket I bought from your store recently. It didn't protect me from the weather as well as the tag and product description suggested. When I mentioned this to customer service, they were quite rude and talked down to me about "layering." They also suggested that I should have been aware of this, even though the information given was misleading.

    I recently purchased a jacket online that was advertised as waterproof, but to my disappointment, it turned out not to be waterproof at all when it arrived. I was really hoping for a reliable waterproof jacket for the rainy days. After returning it, I did get my refund eventually, but they unfairly deducted the delivery charge from it. It's not fair at all! The website promoted free refunds, but it's misleading when they still take money out for delivery. This has been quite a costly error on my part, so I just wanted to share a word of caution with everyone about being cautious when shopping online.

    Trousers purchase

    I recently bought a pair of trousers from Rohan online, but they didn't fit right. When I tried to send them back, I wasn't happy with the returns process. The only option was to return the item using Yodel for £3.60, which was inconvenient as the nearest Yodel location is far away from me. I didn't think it was fair to have to pay for the return, even though they said it would be quicker. I couldn't take the item back to the store as I had used PayPal for the purchase. I decided to use the Royal Mail label instead. However, when I checked on the return, I found out it hadn't been scanned in at the depot even though they had received it on a Friday. The customer service representative said it could take up to 14 days for the refund to go through. This meant that Rohan had been holding onto my money since they dispatched the item, and I would have to wait another two weeks for the refund. In my opinion, this is not good practice on their part.
